Worst hotel I've ever stayed in

Just it's location

It was dirty and outdated. shower didn't work properly and soaked the floor and very small and no ventilation. Beds were hard. Traffic was loud and we could hear people talking word for word most the night. Didn't know how to sign in and ended up calling them twice standing in the pouring rain waiting for help.

Last ditch room

That it was available....booking.com cancelled my choice 3hrs before arrival and offered this as suggestion

Was old, had to chase for a towel, staff complained about each other to me. Loud externally with cheap bed.

Very good

Convenient location for Legoland. Ideal for my son and I. Microwave came in handy for breakfast. Good for the cheap price.

Slight confusion on arrival as the protocol wasn't very clear, but was soon sorted after a phonecall to the owner. Most of the room seamed pretty clean, but bedside table clearly hadn't been cleaned as there was food scraps on top

We expected a cute lodge, and got a very scary experience.

The breakfast was so expensive we could not do it. But I liked the amount of beds in my room and the owner was kind.

I did not like that there was no receptionist to check us in, even though we had an arrival time. We did not appreciate that the Lodge was locked, dark, and had no receptionist when we arrived. When we were finally let in - it was by some friend of the owner who was helping him out. We did not appreciate that our toilet didn’t work, a bed had a hole in the sheets, and it was loud - right by a main street. And we put a chair under the door because we were concerned for our safety. This was one of the scariest hotel experiences I have ever had - and I have traveled since I was 5, all over the world.

Cheap and cheerful, served it's purpose as a stop off on a long journey.

Had a good night's sleep after a long drive...beds were clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed watching the planes that had taken off from Heathrow from our window.

I wondered what I had arrived at when we first pulled up and it was a mystery as to how we got in....as we wondered aimlessly round the building a member of staff appeared! Fridge in the room froze the bottle of juice I put in it.

enormous room with fridge kettle coffee tea milk etc + big bathroom with amazing shower (serious it was the best shower of my life).

Very good

Room was very clean and comfortable and had most things needed for a enjoyable stay. Iron and ironing board, kettle and drinks with biscuits, microwave, fridge and TV.

Pretty hard to access the building and llomited parking. I had a late checkin and was waiting 30 or so minutes to access.

Great stay for one night when flying out from Heathrow early in the morning and great staff.

Very friendly host who greeted us on arrival. Clean room and great dri ks making facilities, a fridge and great en-suite. Easy to find and very near to Heathrow.

The mattresses could have been a bit more comfortable and less lumpy.

Cheap in great location but neglected.

Staff were friendly & helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Tea & coffee, microwave & fridge in the room. Bathroom was clean & toiletries provided. Very good price for the location on London Road with easy access to Slough, Legoland, Windsor or Greater London. On main bus routes. Close to Slough Train Station (taxi £10).

Hotel/Guest House didn't have any record of our booking. Planned room was taken so given a "superior" family room. Room had a double bed & 3 singles. These were clean & comfortable. Carpet was disgusting. Stairs to room was dirty with dribble marks & room carpet itself had huge stains & appeared very dirty. Children were horrified (said looked like murder scene)! Armchair in room smelt terrible (oil & BO)! Cafe advertised but has been closed for 3 years!

Value for money but it’s not the Ritz

Location was close to where I needed to be, a budget room with all the extras, iron, hair dryer and trouser press, also a fridge and a microwave oven, wardrobe, desk with draws and bedside tables, room was clean and private bathroom with bath and shower, Free parking was a bonus as they did not ask me for any fees to park over night.

Just net curtains in the bathroom with clear glass, roller blind missing, room curtains was ok but need blackout linings as street light shone through, I was in a room at the front of the building and you can hear road traffic most of the night, I found the mattress a bit on the hard side.

Everything was perfect. No problems for what we wanted, 1 might stay and car parking for 2 weeks.
