Lovely place, nice staff, good location. Beware of the car parking, £30 per night not the £12.50 per night on-site covered parking as was described to me (screen shot at booking). They do have off site parking for the lower price.

We had a weekend stay, the room was clean and comfortable and all the staff we met were polite and helpful. Breakfast is worth the additional cost but book with your room / stay.
The hotel is very central and very close to the train station. The only downside is it can be quite noisey, but you get used to this and ear plugs are provided if you are a light sleeper.

Room was clean and large. Had to wait a while at check in as large queues. Bed was a little too hard for my liking. Breakfast was excellent.

Very tired room. Windows were draughty and thus the sound of the street below into the room. Offering ear plugs and a portable heater are signs that there are issues that need to be sorted.
Shower wouldn’t get hot. Taps in the shower came off. Tiles and grouting were badly patched. There was what looked like toothpaste down the side of the bath and door.
The staff were lovely.

Some of the walls in the room & bathroom were in need of repair.

Excellent service and check in. Was cheeky and asked if any upgrade was available, got a executive upgrade for no extra cost. Room was large bright and spotless. Bed was comfortable and shower was powerful and lot's of lovely toiletries.

This hotel is only five minutes away from the Birmingham New street station. Very convenient and friendly staffs.

The hotel was situated within 5 minutes of the theatre I was attending and also from the railway station so was ideal.
The room was immaculate and had everything that was needed. The complimentary can of pop, crisps and chocolate were appreciated. The range of food at the breakfast buffet was excellent. There was so much choice.
The only negative that I can think of was that I did not like the scent of the hand wash in the bathroom but that’s just personal preference

Just a one-night stay, but the room was spotless and very comfortable. This hotel is so well placed for anyone using New St station and the two malls (Grand Central and the Bull Ring) adjacent to it, which have lots of speedy dining options.

I would not stay there again.

Nice hotel, except they made me repay the entire room fee on checkout because of an issue with Hotels.com.

We arrived late, the staff was rude, the noise outside the room very loud, the pillows were flat and the bed was hard.

My partner & I always stay here when we have a night away in birmingham. The rooms are usually lovely but this time when we entered our room it had a very unpleasant wet dog smell and the bathroom smelt unpleasant too. We had to leave the windows open when we went out to try and get rid of the smell but it didnt work too well . We were also woken up at 5am by loud men coming back from a night out, shouting and slamming doors but i guess the hotel aren't to blame for that part. I will be potentially looking to stay elsewhere for our next visit.

The stay was ok, one room the air conditioning was working perfectly, in the other it wasn’t working at all. The pillows could have been softer

Room very tired and the windows were bad, to be honest I've seen better sealing windows in a tree house!

This hotel is perfect for everyone from singles to families, me and my mother went again this year and we loved the breakfast here the food from the restaurant is good just a little pricey if you have a budget to stick to, it’s walking distance from loads of places that you can eat from. My sleep was ok just wish the air conditioning was working properly. The bathroom facilities were good too just wish there was a chair that my mum could have sat on when she was in the shower.

The room I stayed in had a shower cubicle. The drainage in the shower cubicle was limited. I had to keep turning the shower head off in order to allow the water to drain fully away. I noticed that the bathroom door was warped at the bottom which must have been caused by flooding in the past. I did report it to reception. I was told that I could not be moved to another room because the hotel was fully booked. The problem may still be persisting. My room number was 571. I stayed in the city centre in Birmingham near Birmingham New Street Station.
Otherwise I liked the room and the hotel in general. The restaurant did good breakfast and dinner.

The room that we had is old and tired and in need of refreshing, including Bed, Air condition, light system. on suit needs work, first morning (if the shower was not switched on before getting in the shower it would have caused a major injury) the shower head flue out with such force. it took them till 13.00 to replace the shower head.
2.5
Fast and friendly check in. Spacious, well designed room. Comfortable bed. Convenient location.

Stayed for an overnight business trip. Parking is a nightmare. Apparently the hotel only has 6 parking spots onsite with links to another parking facility nearby. Awful directions to the parking facilities.
