Nice staff, renovated hotel, safe location and dog friendly
4.2
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Trilussa Palace! The hotel lobby has a very inviting feeling. The staff we interacted with were very helpful and pleasant. Our bedroom and bath were clean and we were very impressed with our dinner on the roof deck. I never made it down for breakfast but my 20 year old daughter thought the breakfast options were nice - "very European".

Visited for four nights with my 14-year old son. Professional and friendly staff, clean facilities, choice between different pillows from a menu (!), Air condition with a remote. Nice restaurant on the rooftop. Not to mention the «all you can eat» sushi restaurant 30 m down the street, became my sons favorite.
When i struggled with a vending machine down the street, one of the staff, with a great Poirot moustache, arranged to meet me after he got off work at 22.30 and followed me and fixed it on his free time. Bravo!
We didnt have time to try the spa, but im sure that would have been very nice as well.
Most tourist sites in Rome available within a 10-11 euro taxi ride, if you dont prefer walking.
4.2
There are few positives about this place.
The rooms are basic but pleasant. The gym is decently equipped although the elliptical is about to fall apart—it has an iPod dock, to give you a sense of its age.
There are many negatives. Firstly, the staff (with one or two exceptions) are cold, rude, and lazy. Hospitality was not a good career choice for them.
The hotel is discriminatory against solo travelers. Despite the name, there is no communal spa and the spa rooms for private hire (at over €100/hr) are only priced for couples, with an additional charge per person after that. Thus, their explicit policy is that solo travelers pay double the per person rate.
The location is not good. It’s a dull, ugly area, at least 15 long minutes walking to the nice part of Trastavere.
And they pay no attention to the details. You have to ask for them to refill the toilet paper; the pillows (which they advertise as a strength) are so gigantic that they give you horrible neck cramps; there are no robes or slippers in the room; etc.

Trulissa staff was the most helpful staff I have experienced at a hotel. Very friendly and willing to support with any questions and support we needed during our first trip to Rome.
4.2
Great service by a very responsive staff, very clean and comfortable room. Near the train and a lot of landmarks where you can walk to, would absolutely recommend for a stay in Rome.
4.2
Lovely place with very lovely people! The view from the rooftop restaurant was lovely and all of the city is so walkable! Would most certainly stay here again
4.2
I enjoyed my stay! Not one complaint.
4.2
the room was big for me and my two kids. Happy for the stay there
4.2
The rooms are very poorly soundproofed, especially the small ones on the ground floor. Our room had a strange smoke smell as well. The staff tried to help but could not do much as the hotel was full.
4.2
Fantastic hotel with very helpful staff!
4.2
Proximity to Trastevere dining & sights, great transport options - 10 mins to CBD, staff were very helpful & friendly, facilities are fantastic (the gym is the best hotel gym I’ve come across). A little tired here and there but no biggie.
4.2
Close enough to Rome to not be far, but far away enough for the area to be quiet and not crowded.
4.2
The hotel was very nice, a little far from the train station and shops but the tram was convenient. The staff were friendly. The rooftop terrace was great. The restaurant was good but expensive.
4.2
Excellent deal for the money. Wonderful staff and facilities. Will go again on next vacation.
4.2
I thought the property was very pricey for the quality of the hotel not really that great but the staffs are very excellent. Very helpful.
4.2
Convenient location with mass transportation. Walking distance to great restaurants. Unfortunately, neighborhoods seems to have problems with graffiti.
4.2
Staff was excellent. Caroline, Valerie and Andrea were very helpful and accommodating. Went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant.Hotel is clean, in a great location and has a nice rooftop bar/restaurant. Thank you for a great stay.
4.2
It was ok. We booked this hotel because it had a spa, my wife has a spinal problem and usually swims everyday, nowhere does it say that it costs 98 euros per hour. Also thdcroif terrace dose not open until 17:30 so there is no outside space until then
4.2
Staff was very nice and extremely helpful. The private spa time was well worth carving out time for.
4.2
Overall the hotel was great with a very good breakfast. However, it was a little far from the city center, and very quiet in the evening. The tram to city center leaves right in front of the hotel so that was convenient. There were not a whole lot of food options nearby but still few good options. We gave 4 star only because it felt u safe to walk around in the evening (even the store clerk at nearby shopping mentioned that to us). Good folks working at the hotel.
4.2
I had walked by this hotel a number times and finally stayed for a work trip. I will definitely return! The staff were very kind and the room was exceptional! It’s located in the center of Trastevere giving you access to many shops and restaurants as well as the train station. Be sure to book and stay on Sunday to visit one of Rome’s best markets.
4.2
The property itself is nice and the hotel was clean. There is Japanese restaurant within couple steps of the hotel and they serve really really good food. There is a tram running from right outside the hotel which makes the commute extremely feasible but this hotel itself looks like to be in a shady area.
4.2
Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Well located in Trastevere, walking distance to most places.
4.2
We had a lovely stay. The staff are very helpful. The room was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds. The restaurant on the rooftop was wonderful as well. We will be back!!
4.2
Compared to the previous 4 star hotels we’ve stayed at, I would consider this more of a 3 star.
4.2
The hotel is well located- its a 40 min walk to the Coliseum and like 5 min in tram.
The staff is incredible - always going above and beyond. Will come back for sure
4.2
Great location, centrally located to the Vatican City, the Colosseum and many other area attractions. Restaurants in the Trastevere area are wonderful. The rooms are small and the airflow in the room was minimal leaving us a bit hotter than desired at night. The corner shower was small for any hotel shower but, sufficed and was clean. Overall, a great launchpad for two days in Rome. I would recommend this hotel for couples traveling without kids. We did not utilize the spa or other niceties during our stay but they did look very nice.
4.2
The staff were excellent, the stay was amazing
4.2
The spa is amazing! Staff is very helpful. Couldn’t consistently operate the room’s air conditioning.
4.2
We stayed in 116 which is a doubke connecting room with a private terrace balcony. Two rooms with ensuite.
Kids had nintendo to play with. Maybe, could do with couple more games but even so, no complaints.
Safe and quiet neighbourhood with good transport link. Its not near City centre which is exactly what I wanted. As family of four, we traveled in Taxi. Vatican was around €12 and colosseum was about the same. City Centre by taxi is €10. There, all costs done.
Good food joints nearby. Dont miss unicone gelatos nearby. Japanese food neatby is very good. Roadhouse across has nice steaks and burgers. QQ ramens and pizzaria also close by.
Hotel has good breakfast. Wife is vegetarian but she was okay with pancakes, croissants, beans, rice(yes, rice). I dont eat red meat so was onto eggs. Good coffee.
Hotel staff couldnt be any better. So polite and prompt at service. All smiles and pleasant greetings. It takes two to have that respect, btw.
Will plan again to visit Rome and have decided to stay here again.
4.2
The Hitel has a good location and the staff is super helpful and friendly . Loved the cool free water in the lobby.
The sink of the Bathroom in room 314 kept Flooding but the staff would come up quickly and temporarily fix it very fast every time.
4.2
Easy to find - easy to get around from.
Staff were amazing, could't help enough especially Carolina.
4.2
Decent hotel, not a 4 star in my opinion. Probably 3 to 3.5. Very good food selection though for breakfast.
4.2
Staff was great and helpful the area is perfect close to dining opotions. The hotel is beautiful clean and has a rooftop sitting area. Will definitely go back!
4.2
I loved this hotel. The staff were extremely nice and it was easy to catch the tram right out front. The restaurant and bar were excellent and the breakfast was huge!
Only slight negative was how firm the beds were. My mom and I were both uncomfortable.
4.2
The hotel has a good location, but it does not have a park
4.2
The hotel was very clean, the staff was exceptional, and the rooms were luxurious.
4.2
I really liked the friendliness of the staff, especially Carolina - she was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It was a really pleasant experience for me and my family.
Best regards
Konstantin
