Had a wonderful stay here over the weekend of our wedding.
The room was a wonderful size and while nice and clean it was a little tired in places.
The staff however were so kind and helpful; going above and beyond time after time to make our stay special.
The food in the restaurant was delicious, I would recommend booking a Sunday lunch if you the opportunity.
Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Room 10 - Big 4 Poster Comfy Bed, nice big Bath & amazing Breakfast

Handy situated between Bath and Bristol. Lovely young staff. Evening meal (tapas) was delicious. Good breakfast choice. Our room was a bit outdated and alot of dust on window sill! Sliding door for loo very noisy. Comfy beds though

Everything was as expected we have stayed here before. The staff are excellent as is the food the accommodation is clean tidy and of a good standard.
4.2
Lovely old fashioned hotel. Small bedroom and extremely warm due to the very sunny warm day. No AC but a small fan was provided. Self checkin. Would stay again. Good breakfast too. Great location
4.2
Great service bit the bed was very noisy which disturbed our sleep.
4.2
Friendly and willing staff from arrival to departure. Very comfortable bed, ample size room. Bathroom could do with some tlc particularly the corner of the bath which is covered with a sticky tape strip and the shower fitting which is fixed and sprays water to the back of the bath!
Breakfast was very good, excellent scrambled eggs!
Overall impression is that the restaurant is more important than the accommodation and the price at £121 is a bit expensive in my opinion!

Really good place, probably best hotel breakfast Ive had for a long time
Thanks

Great Service and location. Fab service from the team. Only let down is the bathrooms. Desperately need an update. Clean but look and feel very dated. Showers lack power. Have stayed here before and would do again.

A great option for an overnight stay following a local wedding. Comfortable, friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Nice room, very clean. Happily stay again

The hotel was let down by its aftercare. I booked a room which was quite expensive imo and the TV didn’t work. My partner normally stays in the room while I go out to work (playing in a band) hence it’s a long night without a TV.
They failed to repair the TV and I requested a partial refund. After not receiving any communication from the hotel I contacted hotels.com who were excellent to be fair, and although they gave me a token voucher they said the hotel were unable to comment at the time I called. I have now waited several more days and still no communication from the hotel. Hence my review.
The hotel was okay but not worth £112 (plus breakfast), the room was tired and the shower very small, although things like tea coffee soap towels etc all good.
Staff were friendly and tried to help but I fear it is the management who do not care once they have been paid.

Checked in early at 2:30 and the car park was already completely full, I asked the young lady on reception, who was very polite, where I was supposed to park and she suggested I find some on street parking, I eventually did this about half a mile away.
Other than that, the accommodation is dated and it is on a busy main road, traffic noise overnight is very noticeable
4.2
Reasonable value for money. Rooms looking a little tired. Breakfast a little disapointing

A one night stay whilst visiting Bath and Bristol. A little bit dated in corridors and our room.
Had a lovely evening meal in their restaurant and breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful we would stay again.

Excellent breakfast but limited parking

Lovely b&b-style place, take note of the reception closing times as it’s not 24h. Very comfortable room and great breakfast.

Convenient location with a sensible price.
The staff were friendly and the hotel had a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The staff seemed happy about their work which means the management must be decent. I will be coming back.

I was disappointed in the quality of the breakfast

Nice room, friendly staff, bed was a little lumpy and the heating could have been on a little longer. Overall, would recommend trying this hotel.

Lovely place to stay, non pretentious, really enjoyed the friendly hospitality

This is an ideal place for us to stay while visiting family in the area. Good value for money.
4.2
Nice place a little bit out of the city centre.
A 12 minute walk to the train station, then just 7 minutes to Bristol Temple Meads.

The 'single room' had an unexpected double bed, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff on the front desk were very friendly, and though I didn't eat there, the restaurant seemed full all afternoon which you'd take to be a good sign. Very good value all in all.

Very friendly staff

We had a family room and was very spacious. The staff were lovely and the was excellent- definitely will be going back

Nice hotel with a good breakfast selection. The room was nice and clean. It is on a main road so if you find road noise difficult check on what rooms are available. We live in London so we’re fine. The bathroom was a bit tired but the shower was hot and the towels nice.

We stayed here as part of an overnight trip to Bristol to see a friend’s gig at a local pub in Keynsham. The hotel bar area was quite busy when we arrived so the reception was unmanned. The young lady who checked us in was friendly, informative and helpful and gave us our key and told us how to access our room.
The weather was really hot so the windows in our room were already opened and it felt cool inside which was welcomed.
We had to leave the windows open all night due to the heat, this made for a very noisy night’s sleep due to the road noise from the main road to the front of the hotel. Nobody’s fault, just one of those things to be aware of if you get a room at the front of the hotel.
I travel a lot with work, and I’ve always said that if a hotel can get the basics right, the rest is acceptable. The loft room was comfortable enough although a little smaller than I was expecting and the bed was comfortable and it was clean and tidy, with towels and coffee making facilities to hand. My pet gripe with hotel rooms is bathrooms… The one in our room was clean but the shower was tiny and the shower head wouldn’t stay in a fixed position.
Further pluses, they have obviously put a lot of thought and effort into the décor throughout the hotel. Nice touches too like the communal fridge on the landing with chilled milk, water, and oat milk. The breakfast was great, we both had the vegan option which was delicious.
On the whole, not too bad.
4.2
Very efficient check in with a decent size room. The shower cubicle however was on the small size. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of tea/ coffee in room and more available if required. Lovely breakfast. I sat in the garden area to eat
4.2
Due to weather the room was mega warm and with two children it was difficult sleeping but still did sleep just not like normal, hotel had our two fans in the room to help cool it down a little as we were at the top of the building. Quite noisy as on main road but again you can put up with that as a base to put your head. Bare in mind it’s also has a bar so the Sat Eve was louder outside than the Friday Eve but quiet by around 11pm for people just the road noise after that. Food was lovely cost £87 for four 2 adults and 2 children for main and a pudding and drinks more than we would normally spend for sure but the quality you can tell. All in all lovely little place to stay and would recommend to all.

An excellent overnight stay in every way, would certainly stay again.ldeal location for the area and it's many attractions. I simply cannot fault it. Thanks.

Staff were excellent and very helpful

The hotel itself was very quiet, but on a busy Road. All the bedding was spotlessly clean. The mattress had see better days and the pillows were awful. The bathroom had everything you needed including towels. Plenty of hot drinks were available in the room. At breakfast we didn't feel like we were welcomed and other guests were waiting to be told what to do/go. Maybe a sign by the door telling guests to seat themselves would be an idea? The breakfast was a full English with one of everything. To be fair it wasn't amazing. You could tell that the sausages were of good quality, but nothing had any flavour. The coffee was good and also the choice of other items available. All in all it was quite a pleasant stay.
4.2
Amazing location of hotel and very friendly staff. Check in was quite smooth and fast. We have been given family room with extra beds for kids. Breakfast was very good
