Comfortable hotel, plenty of parking and conveniently located.

Cheap stay due to view from room I assume. But room was comfortable but compact. Pool was cool but relaxing. Whilst reception staff were excellent bar/waiting staff were not. Wasn’t asked if I wanted a drink all evening. Starter and main turned up at same time and 2 seconds after placing a drinks order I asked to change it but it was refused. Had a great nights sleep but catering staffs put me off returning.
4.3
Beds comfortable. Staff very efficient. Breakfasts were good. Shower was excellent but door to bathroom wouldn't latch so difficult to close. Gym facilities very good. Evening dining was good but small portions and very expensive. Cleanliness of crockery was poor which I reported to the hotel.

We have stayed at the Links several times and will it has a "1930s interwar" character about it (which suits us), it's facilities are now 21st century!
The evening dining menu is very good and to be recommended as are the bar meals in the golf clubhouse opposite it.

It was our 10th wedding anniversary and we had been assigned a garden room. Unfortunately the bed wasn’t great (thin flimsy mattress, which would not have been good for my medical condition) so we contacted reception. Wendy reassigned us a lovely room on the second floor with an extremely comfortable super king with good views and made for a good nights sleep. That evening we had cocktails in the bar which were really good and dangerous as we wanted more! A full English breakfast followed the next day with a good choice of cereals to start with. This is the second time we have stayed there and we will be staying again. A good hotel not far from Cromer and the Broads. All the staff were very friendly and looked after us.

A lovely 4 night stay. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and clean, overlooking the golf course and in the distance, the sea.
The beach, a few minutes walk away was beautiful.
The cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent and all staff were very friendly.
The pool facilities were very good.
The lounge area was welcoming and comfortable for a relaxing drink.
We used both the train and bus link which ran very well.
We will definitely return .

Great location
Good facilities
Good size family room with dog facilities (cost £15 per night for dog)
Room had some minor maintenance issue ie. tape stuck to drawer to replace broken handle! suggest use handle from bedside cabinet in lounge.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The Links is an attractive Edwardian-style property with period charm. Ideally located in peaceful countryside, yet a short walk to the beach and Norfolk Coast Path. The wonderful Hillside.org.uk is nearby, which is ideal for those who want a "farm holiday". The indoor pool is a major plus. The location is also suitable for those who do not have a driving licence, since there is a branch line rail station. Plus there are frequent buses to all places along the coast, at a flat fare.
4.3
Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Convenient location. Will definitely return!!
4.3
Dirty glasses with old red wine spots on table at dinner, ordered a cappuccino and the bar staff completely forgot the order (the bar was not busy), fire alarm went off at 7 am, the maid did not replenish the milk so no room coffee, the quality of the food at dinner did not match its price, to get to the pool you have to fill out a health questionnaire, sign in wait ages for towels and getting a locker key then you have to phone reception to actually get into the pool area. Lots of little niggles ruining a holiday.
4.3
Friendly and all as advertised. A pleasing stay

Really nice place. Excellent staff. Very clean & modernized. Bright & cheerful. Great location. This is my second stay here. Multiple stays ant The Dales. All Mackenzie Hotels are fantastically well run.
4.3
Absolutely superb service from Ann and Sharon this stay. Both extremely courteous and unbelievably professional even extending on a welfare check as I hadn’t arrived earlier and some toast as the restaurant had closed.
Although a short trip, I was very impressed by their hospitality and will return soon.
4.3
Had a lovely 2 day break lovely and relaxing , great staff and good food , would definitely visit again
4.3
The building is attractive outside. My room on the third floor wasn't easy to reach. The lift is cumbersome to use especially with luggage and only goes to the second floor. My room had a cold draught coming under the door. Not easy to escape. TV reception poor not sufficient freeview channels.
4.3
No extractor fan in en suite. Room not particularly warm. Pool was nice but there was a children's swimming class running the first time we attended. It would have been better to have been informed of this in order to chose a different time to swim. Changing room was very cold.Poor signal on TV.Hotel a little scruffy but the service and breakfast were very good.

Warm welcome, friendly staff.

Very enjoyable three days. Excellent gym and pool. Levels of service excellent. I must say the food was exceptional.
4.3
A very comfortable and enjoyable stay, the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in away from my own. Loved the huge walk in shower too, had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant and a wonderful nights sleep. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would most definitely stay again.
4.3
We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Links Hotel.
4.3
I stayed in an excellent value single room. It was an understandably small room (exactly what I expected), but it provided all that was needed.
The bed was incredibly comfy, it was quiet, and the shower was powerful and hot.
An excellent experience.
4.3
Very good parking facilities. The hotel was very quiet at night which was a blessing as I am a light sleeper.
4.3
Reception staff efficient, friendly. We only had bed and board so cannot comment on anything apart from the room (basic, clean comfortable, nice shower, no hooks to hang things in bathroom though), setting is quiet and peaceful (visited late Sept weekend). Pool has CCTV at reception desk which anyone can see at the desk which we found creepy so didn’t use the pool in the end. Will stay again as so near West Runton train station and buses in the village. Best bit of the beach is between west Runton and East Runton.
4.3
Nice staff, lovely food, great location.
4.3
Straight forward hotel at reasonable price. Only quibble is cost of breakfast, so if you do go for breakfast eat a lot!!!
4.3
Overall it was a very pleasant stay. The main bugbear was that we had to ask for toilet rolls, teabags, milk and biscuits more than once. Also the door handle fell off and had to be replaced. The wifi was poor. The food was very good.
The swimming pool was very good. The staff were polite and helpful.
4.3
Reception staff very helpful
4.3
The room was very dark ,next to the entrance and drying room. Two rugs with curled up edges which were a trip hazard.
4.3
Excellent stay and every thing I needed from the staff.
