Excellent location, attentive staff and a modern and cosy reception/bar area. Really enjoyed our stay, however our room was a little tired - marks on the carpet, scuffed walls, paint peeling on the wardrobe. The room facilities were very good, but we also had a space for a fridge which was not there… didn’t affect our stay so we didn’t raise it with reception but if you were staying longer or in summer you would probably want to ensure it was there. I can’t speak for other rooms but ours fell a little short of expectations.

Really like this hotel, stayed many times, great location for venturing out into Harrogate, great lounge and bar area, pleasure to stay here

Absolutely fantastic

Lovely building, lovely staff, very well decorated and immaculately clean with the comfiest bed ever! Lovely breakfast and restaurant too and arrangement of parking was very quick and easy. Would happily return to any Hotel du Vin based on this one!

Room was good but mattress was too hard for me. Chef couldn’t make scrambled eggs, was basically a crushed up omelette and very over cooked, quite rubbery

Breakfast was good
Evening meal Okay - paid for dinner bed and breakfast would advise only bed and breakfast given you the option to experience local restaurants.

Lovely stay, room was beautiful, great location. Only slight issue was the temperature - it was very very hot! Whilst I suppose I would rather be too warm than too cold in Yorkshire in Nov, was definitely a bit over the top. Food was great though, service at check in and the restaurant was lovely, great bar options, and a great base to explore, eat, drink and have a good time!

Wonderful location! Great staff! Lovely stay !

My only complaint was the noise from above! We had a basement room, which was fantastic, but the noise from people walking around and moving tables in the dining room above was toomuch!
4.0
We stayed in the basement room and enjoyed the room, the facilities and the decor, however it was so hot, with a window that won’t open, my glasses were steamed up all morning!

We had a good stay - service is excellent with a very friendly, helpful team but the hotel is tired and in need of refreshment. Our room was “fine” but the wardrobe floor tarnished and bulbs in need of replacement (no big issue but just a shame). The breakfast at £22 per head is overpriced as the full English didn’t look so great on the plate and was pretty bland. Such a pity as we had high expectations.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay at the beautiful hotel. Great location, very clean and upgraded to a fantastic suite that is one of the best ive stayed in. Staff were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent

Loved our stay. A few minor irritations:
No fridge in room so no fresh milk or cold water.
Great bath but shampoo and body wash bolted to the wall out of reach!
Opted for no sheet or towel change but that meant no clean cups or glasses.
But great food and friendly staff in a lovely location.

Really nice staff, good restaurant. Parking a bit of a faff.

A lovely hotel and food amazing however we apparently had an upgrade to a deluxe room but this room was an accessible room which we didn’t require so feel we should have been asked if we wanted the upgrade to an accessible room, these rooms should be saved for guests that ask for them.

Had an excellent time at this wonderful hotel, the staff were brilliant and very welcoming and helpful and sorted a better room for my mother who has mobility problems. The hotel is very clean and dog friendly which is why we picked it. Easy walking distance into the town and surrounded by restaurants. Very highly recommended

Second stay at this hotel in a delux room. Breakfast and staff very good.
Room badly needs upgraded. Hot and uncomfortable to sleep in.
Price increase from identical stay last year makes it hard to justify using this hotel again considering the condition of the room.

Situated in the centre of Harrogate with vital reserved parking and with the historical heart and with plenty of shops and eateries within easy walking distance,

Lovely hotel , the staff were very friendly and it’s in a great location to all the bars and restaurants. The room was very quiet, the only small issue was the bed wasn’t very comfortable and it was quite hot. I would definitely stay again

Hotel du Vin Harrogate is a beautiful boutique hotel right in the heart of Harrogate. Check in was fantastic as they allowed us to check in early (very much appreciated after an early morning travel day!). The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Would highly recommend staying here!

One of the best hotels I stayed in. Comfortable with a very high standard of catering. Quality ingredients in all dishes sampled.

Nice hotel , great staff, will stay again, great Du Vin experience

We booked having stayed at at Du Vin in Newcastle, assuming the quality would be the same. We weren't disappointed. Everybody we came into contact with, went out of their way to engage. The room was perfect for a couple. We booked the restaurant for our last evening, and were so pleased we did. It was excellent. Very relaxed and I thought really good value

Nice hotel with smart communal areas and bar. Staff really professional but also friendly.
Room great with roll top bath and view of The Stray. Comfortable bed and great breakfast in restaurant.
The only negative comment would be about the poor lightingbin the bedroom which could have been better.

From checking in to leaving myself and daughter had a wonder joint birthday treat. Geri on reception was just a darling. Always smiling and very helpful. All the staff were lovely. The evening meal was exceptional. The room facing the park was lovely, clean and well kept. Locctaine toiletries a bonus. All in all fabulous few days. Thankyou.

A really great stay in Harrogate - fantastic location within walking distance of the town centre shops, restaurants and bars and of course Betty's! We enjoyed drinks in the hotel bar, staff on reception and in the bar were friendly and welcoming and our room was really comfortable. Only downside was the basement room we had was under one of the function rooms and there was a wedding taking place which meant it was quite noisy until the early hours but not a major problem. Overall a really good hotel and would definitely come back!

I enjoyed my stay. It was a classy place, tidy and clean with a really nice bar / lounge and restaurant area. The room had all the normal expected amenities, and the bathroom had both bath & shower. The downstairs bar, lounge and restaurant were also very pleasant. The staff were 1st class, polite, cheerful and helpful.
However my only negative is that is was massively overpriced for what it was. The room despite being nice was relatively small, and at a cost of nearly £600 for 3 nights was way too expensive for what it was. However at time there were few hotels with spade so had no option.
So I’d say a very pleasant place to stay but overpriced.
