Loved our experience with this hotel! Highly recommended if traveling with family like us. Ask for room 13 if you need a dark room as Valladolid is bright early in the morning!

I had wonderful time in the area. Easy check-in and friendly staff.
4.0
Best thing about the hotel is the central location. Self-parking is easy and staff are friendly. Otherwise this is a basic hotel. Rooms are small and not especially comfortable, OK for a night or two, and certainly not for more than two people. The pool gets little direct sunlight and is uncomfortably cold at all times. Wifi service is terrible - doesn’t work in the room and not much better in the lobby. Price reflects these notes so measure expectations accordingly.

Cute hotel in an excellent location, friendly staff.

Nice location and nice staff!

The Aurora is a well-located and well-priced hotel. It is simple and lacks luxuries, but is clean and reliable. We arrived three hours late, after 1am, but the agent was waiting for us and was pleasant and prompt. We will choose the Aurora again.

Great little place. Clean and quit. Was there for work and the staff was excellent.

Really enjoyed our visit. Pool was great and breakfast also. Staff was very friendly and professional. Room was nice and comfortable. Only thing we didn't like was the lack of hot water.
3.0
heavy rains and your ceiling / roof is leaking - leaked onto 1 of the 2 beds - so we moved onto the other bed and notified person @ desk. They did not give us a discount.
Your rooms are very dark !
Last visit we had a nice breakfast on roof-top ????? Appears you don't have coffee or breakfast now ?

Close to town square, great service by the staff

Good character. Good value and relaxed feel. Lovely pool.

Within walking distance of downtown (square plaza)

The hotel is located in a great location near the town center. The roof top pool looked like it was in the middle of being fixed both roof top pools were dirty. The ground level pool was beautiful and clean.

Nice rooftop area. Beautiful tile. It took a long time to check in. We stayed in the Jr Suite. It was small and the beds were uncomfortable. There was one towel in room for 3 people and when we asked for more, they left 1 cleaning towel by our door. We were wrongly accused for another hotel guest's actions. Manager was yelling and rude. He made us checkout early for something we did not do.
Not worth it for the price.

The upper terasse is always my favorite !!

Very disappointed in the communication about breakfast. Your site says 100 peso. We were told NO breakfast available 1st morning because we didn't inform the front desk night before. 2nd morning, we were told breakfast was down the street at other hotel. Got there and they charged us 150 pesos. Then charged me extra dor a second cup of coffee 50 pesos and a very small glass of water 50 pesos. Ripped off, poor communication. And lots of confusion on time frames of pool and roof top pools and being open vs closed.

Very close to the plaza. Restaurants nearby. Great place for the price.

The hotel was conveniently located in the town center and offered parking to make it easier. Breakfast was included and was delicious as well. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. My only gripe is the water temperature was very difficult to control. Some days the water was piping hot and the other day it was freezing cold, no matter what I tried. However, the hotel was in a gtreat location to drive to the many different cenotes in the area.

Great pools. Need to provide drinking water in the rooms.

I liked the colonial architecture, the size of the room and the easy walk to the centre, but the pool was empty with men working on it so there was some noise and we weren’t able to swim on site, which was a major factor in booking the place. A male concierge was a chain smoker and as reception was only some ten yards from our room and the external sitting out area we suffered from the smell. On the last day we had no hot water. We were told that they had an arrangement with a nearby hotel to use their pool, but had they told us this before we arrived we would have cancelled, which was probably why they didn’t tell us.

Location was great. Close to the main square. Front desk had waters/pop/beers for sale. Parking was extremely tight; we parked on the street in front with no issues. We had a room farthest from front desk so wifi did not work in room.

A solid 31/2 star hotel. I stayed there 10 days. Centrally located. Staff were very friendly and facilities very clean. AC and ceiling fan in my room kept it cool even when the temperature reached 36 C.

It was very good. Clean, quiet, comfortable, close enough to the main square, 2 blocks, but far enough to avoid any of the noise or traffic.

Great property in the heart of the city. However I would advice against having a room facing the street as it's quite busy hence noisy in the evening /morning.
One downside for the hotel would be the bottle of water that's usually complimentary but we had to pay.

Friendly hotel near center of Valladolid. Breakfasts are extra, but they're worth it -- the rooftop dining area has a great view of the city. Service is friendly. While I was there, the adjacent park had a great Candelaria festival with food, church services, and entertainment.

My room was fine but many rooms face street and are noisy. No loungers by pool.
No character to facility

Great experience , comfortable beds.

The hotel is close to main square and 4/5 blocks from the ADO bus station. Hotel is attractive colonial building, basic. Swimming pool is in the centre on the ground floor, not much sun around the area. On tbe rooftop , there are 2 sun loungers (2 so called Jacuzzis.) They are just very basic, 2 very large baths. There not jacquizzis. They are under cover so sun doesnt get to them so the water is cold. Rooms are ok, basic but clean. Staff apart from a girl karina (who was helpful) are not friendly at all. I paid for a small, family run hotel and you usually find them more friendly but certainly not in this case.
4.0
Room had pool view, silent room and had a good sleep. Good location, not far from ADO bus statiion, receptionist friendly. Will recommend to others.
3.0
Great location, pleasant and helpful staff. Enjoyed the rooftop dipping pools with chairs and tables all over to sit and chill out. Lack of a dresser or drawers of any sort would be a pain if you were staying longer tgan a couple days. Could also use some attention to maintenance, bed was very loud , bathroom did not quite close and door dragged hard on the floor opening and closing. Enjoyed our time but would probaly look elsewhere if we go back.

Great Location. Staff organised Taxi's easily and promptly.
Room near street was noisy so we swapped and the carpark room was much better.

Super friendly helpful staff. We loved our stay here.

I was a single male traveler, and I wanted cleanliness, simplicity, a touch of individuality, air conditioning, and a bath room with hot water.I would recommend the hotel even though I changed rooms for the second night. I arrived late from the airport and was given room 14 - a single room on the west side of the building on a street that got noisy about 5 AM. I recommend a room on the east side, There was a lovely interior (small) courtyard with a pleasant pool. Breakfast on the roof was nice 6 blocks from the bus station.
