Great customer service from Claudius. The room looks like it has not been updated in 10 years. A $20 coffee pot no usb. No headboard on the bed.

We loved our stay! The front desk staff was very accommodating. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning. Highly recommend staying here!

Unique historic building restored as a hotel with period decor. Really charming, great location. No pool or beach, but a water taxi can take you to a beach 5 mins away.
The best part is how wonderful, welcoming, and helpful the staff was - including the 3 ladies who sang Happy Birthday to my husband at breakfast.

Wonderful location in the heart of Nelson’s Dockyard - at night you can have it all to yourself, stroll around and pretend you own one of the many million pound yachts moored there! Seriously, the location is brilliant - where else can you stay in the middle of a UNESCO world heritage site! Five stars!!!

A unique historic property in a beautiful quiet yet convenient location.

The room was not advertised as being on two floors. The room did not have a microwave, a chair upstairs, or robes as shown in the pictures. There was nowhere to sit upstairs other than on the bed. The bathroom was located on the main level vs bedroom level. The AC was not sufficient for the room. It was very hot downstairs and too cold upstairs. The toilet ran with a loud noise the whole time we were there. We brought it up everyday but the repair was never addressed. Bottom line is that the advertising did not match the reality, which is very disappointing

Great location right by the harbour in a historic place.

Very mice historical property over looking the harbor with large yachts.
Many sail boat charters operate out of here.

We really enjoyed our stay in Copper & Lumber in English Harbour, both the hotel and the area. The hotel and rooms have been appointed in keeping with the historic theme of the building so don’t expect 5* luxury. However, the rooms are very spacious and on two levels. Breakfast overlooking the harbour was a great way to start the day. The staff were amazing, welcoming, helpful and genuinely happy to look after us, Michelle in particular stood out. Just a couple of negatives; the rooms were very dark and the partitions between the rooms were very thin, we could clearly hear conversations from adjacent rooms. Don’t let this put you off, this is a great place to stay and we would return in a heartbeat.

Staff treated us like family. Intimate surroundings. Breakfasts good. Could walk to several restaurants within 5-10 min. View of harbour and huge yachts from our window. Reception very accommodating and friendly. One suggestion for Hotel is there should be a warning near the taps not to drink the water. I was not aware until a maid told me locals do not drink it. Coffee was not replenished daily in our room for our coffee maker. Asked for body lotion and she left several tubes for me. Bed comfy. Sofa was not.

A rough start as the room was not ready until after 6pm. But the staff we accommodating and nice.

Its a great little place where you can go back to the 1800's with some A/C. We booked two rooms and one was grand and the other not so grand however the stay was fine.

Beautiful hotel on a historic site in the middle of everything English Harbor. If you have mobility problems they have no elevator you have to use stairs to get up to the rooms and in the suites we have to climb the stairs to the bedroom. Location is ideal there’s really no beach there but you can go to a nearby beach.

This Inn is beautiful & charming. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Large bedroom and new bathroom. All staff were fabulous. Easy to drive to beaches. Enjoyed breakfast watching the sailboats and yachts come in and out. Easy walk to many restaurants. The Dockyards and area are a World Heritage site - very well cared for. We didn't want an "all inclusive" resort so this fit us perfectly.

The property is unique and in a beautiful setting. The suite was nice, but only the bedroom was air-conditioned. It was noisy during happy hour and from visitors on the sidewalk outside the hotel.
