The stay was fine. The bed was comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly. We always seek a hotel with some character. This hotel did NOT possess that. The rooms were spacious but very dark and no windows could be opened. The location is boring. Very corporate feel. If I was on business ... this hotel would be fine. For personal use I probably should have selected somewhere else.

Very disappointing with our Saturday evening - staff follows up on email to apologise for our experience.

Fantastic stay! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Great location with excellent amenities, but it could use more room storage. Highly recommend

The staff were all lovely. Excellent meal in the restaurant…..top notch.
Room was disappointing, extremely small bed, instant coffee (yuck), slippers but no bath robe.
Most importantly awoken early hours by students opposite returning from night out maybe? & then the road works in the morning. Sadly 2 nights with extremely poor sleep

We had an amazing stay at Dakota Glasgow as always. It’s our favourite hotel in Glasgow and look forward to visiting again soon!

Lovely hotel. The staff were extremely helpful. The room was spotless. Only complaint is that our room overlooked the back of the hotel which was quite noisy in the early morning when bins got emptied. Otherwise perfect stay!

Hotel is great with fantastic rooms and attentive staff. Food is great quality with a good choice and drinks are made professionally.
Down side are the works around the hotel and outlook is not great.

We loved our stay at the Dakota. Every single thing was perfect! From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out. The beds are beyond comfortable and atmosphere was on point. Exactly as advertised. Remarkable value for the amenities.
10/10 Highly Recommended.

We arrived early and they accommodated. Staff was incredibly friendly and professional especially the bartender who gave us a great list of things to do. The room was too hot and I wish they didn’t change the towels daily. Would definitely recommend.

We were very impressed with the level of service and the friendliest of the staff. We were very well looked after . We would this hotel absolutely fabulous.
4.8
This hotel is amazing and so well priced, it would be £600 a night in London

We had an excellent stay, however had a nightmare with the lights due to the card slot which activates the light constantly falling down. Actually disappointed by this as silly as it sounds.
The bar is brilliant as is the room and breakfast. A lot of roadworks which is frustrating. But apart from that brilliant stay.
4.8
Absolutely beautifully decorated boutique hotel. Close to most places and quiet. Professional staff and helpful

Really comfortable and spacious. Bed is great. Bathroom was good. Towels were large. Slept well

The staff was a bit prissy and the hotel was so dimly lit! Someone turn on the lights! Other than that, it was fine. Good, walkable location. Comfy room. Quiet. Nice shower.
4.8
Lovely comfortable room. Nice bathroom and shower. Good range of amenities. Enjoyed a room service dinner.

Great place to stay in Glasgow

After a couple weeks of traveling in England and Scotland, the Dakota Glasgow was the best bang for your buck lodging we stayed at. The decor and amenities would be £100 more per night in London and Edinburgh. Our favorite unexpected features were the black-out curtains and Chrome cast to the television.
Most tourist attractions included a 1-3km walk (one-way), but we always felt safe.

One of our favorite rooms during a long holiday! It was a gray rainy day when we were in Glasgow, so we loved the opportunity to retreat in our large, luxurious room for a most comfortable evening. The bedding and pillows were very high-end. The dark furnishings make for a very cozy room which includes a seating area and a desk. There were many nice touches including robes, warm slippers, and a tea service. The bathroom was gorgeous with a great shower and products. Check in and out was effortless in their large impressive lobby.

Feels special to stay here - lovely rooms, nice friendly staff and a little bit of luxury.

Wonderful hotel!

An excellent modern hotel, in a central location. The black interior decor, with pools of light was trendy if gloomy and not very practical. Breakfast was acceptable but with a limited buffet. The staff were were very friendly and helpful. Car Parking arrangements at the Charing Cross multi-storey (10 min walk) were fine for an inner city hotel.
The building work opposite should not deter anyone from booking. It was quiet at night and no problem even though we overlooked it.

Very nice staff and clean rooms.
A little out of the way though

As ever it was fantastic. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, very well looked after in the bar and had an amazing stay, thank you

Fabulous design beautifully decorated

Great modern hotel in walking distance to everywhere. The staff were fantastic and very helpful when it came to dining options and things to do during our stay. Only issue (and this is not the fault of Dakota but is worth a mention)There is currently a lot of construction work within the city which makes parking and relying on sat nav difficult. The parking available for Dakota is 5 minute walk from hotel at subsidised rate.
4.8
The hotel is new and very comfortable The lobby staff is very nice to talk and smiling We like very much but one point to mention that the light in room is very low
4.8

4.8
One of my favorite hotels. I will come back whenever I’m lucky enough to be in Glasgow.
4.8
Very good hotel. Staff very friendly, although slow in the bar. Food very good. Rooms clean, spacious, comfortable. Shower very sloppy—not entirely safe.

Great property, everything appears quite new.
