4.1
Close to bus station and city centre.
Bit noisy from underground at times.
4.1
Excellent breakfast, lots of choice, staff very helpful.
Missed haggis and black pudding!
4.1
Room was clean and comfy
Bed was too hard. There was a noise frequently of a train, possibly the underground which was annoying. The bar had no coffee machine.
4.1
Comfy beds with good blackout curtains for sleeping in when sunrise comes early (4.30am). Great location in the heart of the CBD - close to transport links, cafes, pubs, restaurants, etc. Everything we wanted was within a few minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast was included in the price
No bar fridge in the room to keep a cool drink
4.1
Goede douche.
Opgelet: het "Express" hotel is een tweederangs vestiging van het Holiday Inn. Cheap Motel zou ik het noemen. Het ontbijt liet serieus te wensen over. Ook de kamer leek niets op de foto's, teleurstellend.
4.1
The room was very clean.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Had to ask for a quilt change after a spillage and was done straight away.
Restaurant next door which we went to and just 5 minutes round the corner from the Theatre Royal where we were going to see The Syndicate.
Pleased to be in the centre and got shopping to Argyll Street.
We had a very close up view of a brick wall which wasn't the nicest view.
I don't like help yourself breakfast as can get too busy with lots of people and I'm partially sighted. Prefer table service or certainly order taken for cooked breakfast.

It’s good value for money
There was nothing that I didn’t like
4.1
Location and friendly staff
Breakfast area felt quite cramped
4.1
Easy access to town centre
Asked for a face cloth as it was on the signs in room, they didn’t have any and offered a towel 🙈
Not enough cups supplied in the room.
Sofa bed was very uncomfortable.
Cutlery was dirty at breakfast.

This is the second time I've stayed here overnight in order to go to a show, have meals with friends and do other things in the city before going home to the Scottish Borders. I've had a double room for single occupancy on the fifth floor both times and found those rooms really quiet and comfortable. As a solo traveller, I felt perfectly safe. The breakfast, which is included in the price, is plentiful and tasty, with a good variety of options. I arrived a couple of hours before the 3 pm check in to find that, perfectly understandably, the room I had been allocated wasn't ready. The very helpful young woman at reception immediately gave me an identical room on the fifth floor which was ready, so I was able to leave my luggage in my room before meeting my friend to go to the theatre. I could have left my luggage at reception, because I know the hotel offers that facility, but I didn't need to, which was great.
I really can't fault this hotel and expect to be back for more of the same sometime soon.

Everything was excellent! From the ballet just around the corner, for the excellent meal in the restaurant next door, to the lovely welcome from the hotel staff, the comfortable room and a lovely breakfast, what more could we ask? ( maybe next time the ferry will sail in calmer waters) but that's just nitpicking!...x
Nothing..x

Location, staff
Breakfast was poor
4.1
Not many options in a cooked breakfast, room was so small no space to get through to the toilet, my little ones get hurt few times, the sofa bed couldn't fold it properly it's metal rod and corners coming out and hurt my kids. It's not worth of Money, staff wasn't helpful at all. Parking was far away from the hotel.
Everything is worst there , the room , beds, breakfast, parking and the customer service.
4.1
I mislaid my glasses and the staff at reception and housekeeping were incredibly helpful. They spent a lot of time searching for them and were successful.
4.1
Staff were professional, and helpful. The room was a good size, with space around the bed to move, and a table and chair.
We only had a single rucksack with us, so storage space wasn't an issue.
The shower was powerful enough to provide a good flow of warm water, with toiletries provided being a useful addition. The sink and surround was clean, with space to put personal toiletries.
The bed was big enough that we didn't have to fight over space. The two different pillows (one firm, the other soft) was a nice idea, that worked for me.
Breakfast had a couple of items missing that I like to see, but overall it was certainly adequate and well enough cooked.
4.1
The room was very comfortable and clean
Breakfast was good
Location was perfect for us
No slippers were provided
A few of the staff at the reception were not very friendly
4.1
Staff were really friendly and the location was really handy. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed. I particularly loved that it was a shower cubicle and not over a bath.
Room 159 was extremely noisy from 5am - long periods of banging, trolleys rattling and shouting. There was also a very strong cooking smell. It was impossible to sleep.

Very clean and comfortable

Location and breakfast both excellent
The procedure at check in was chaotic.Arrived 2.30 and told rooms were not ready until 3pm We were asked to take a seat Then a queue formed at reception and then they started giving out keys despite the fact we had been there for half an hour We then hadto fill a form in Why did we not fill form on arrival and get our name called when rooms were ready.I didn't mind waiting for the room but I do mind people arriving 30 mins after us being given priority in allaocation
4.1
The shower and dove shower products
Lack of spaces in the room once the sofa bed unfolded
4.1
Breakfast, Location , bar a bit pricey £1.20 for a bag of crisps bit much overall good clean rooms, helpful staff

A really warm reception after a long day of travelling. The room was really comfortable and everything worked as it should. Great location if you're heading to the theatre or for a night out. There's also a handy supermarket for any essentials.
Make sure to park in the car park opposite and get your parking validated. £6.00 for overnight in a city is fantastic
Nothing.

Location is great for bus station and shops. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good.
Room was at the back of the hotel and bins were emptied really early.
4.1
The location was great, cooked breakfast was lovely, room and hotel was lovely & clean
The pillows were quite flat and gave me a sore neck in the morning, the beds also were quite high to get into as if the mattress was too thick. A fruit salad would have been a nice option , there were apples bananas and oranges to be peeled as an option but not very exciting when you're on holiday
4.1
Very modern good design. WC and shower room very clever. And staff were brilliant .

Location friendly excellent value
Bed mattress wasn’t the most comfortable. But wouldn’t put me off staying or recommending
4.1
Perfect location for transport, shopping and theatre,
Very comfortable bed.
Large bath sheets.
Good to be able to get additional refreshment supplies like decaf coffee in reception.
Inclusive breakfast.
Room was serviced each day.
There was no drawer space - would have preferred this instead of ironing board and iron, otherwise very efficient use of space.
Clever, unique door system for shower room, with door doubling as the toilet door, but I nipped fingers a couple of times.
4.1
I’m vegan. Breakfast options were poor. Weird bathroom set up. If in the shower, anyone going to loo could see. Bathroom door didn’t shut properly. Couple had screaming match in the room opposite us in the early hours. Soundproofing would be good
