The people and their service are phenomenal! They are always smiling and very helpful. I left my asthma inhaler in the room and only remembered it after check-out; they helped me get my medicines without hassle. The bathroom was lovely. Breakfast was quite nice, too!
In a city like Glasgow, parking is a challenge. So it's understandable that the hotel does not have a parking space adjoining the building. But, it would have been nice to get complimentary valet services.

The room was a good size and well equipped. It was also quite quiet. The staff, particularly the door staff, were very nice and helpful.
The items in the breakfast buffet were only tepid and in particular the eggs at breakfast on the 12th were rubbery. The reception area was quite cold meaning that to enjoy the “social hour” glass of wine we had to retreat to the bar area for warmth.

A splendid hotel with large, comfortable, and well-appointed rooms, the Kimpton is ideally situated in the city's heart but away from noise. I travelled with my dog, Soda, and the staff were very welcoming - including facilitating full access to the gardens that occupy the centre of Blythswood Square.

The thermal spa facilities were fantastic. The treatments were the best I’ve had. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. Every member of staff was very friendly and professional.

The breakfast and the staff were amazing. And the spa was epic.
Rooms could use a little updating, especially given the price point

Overall good
The spa was not open all throughout the day

Beautiful building, nice restaurant, good location.
Beds were soft and uncomfortable, HVAC was underpowered and didn't cool properly. Check in was late and we were not notified when room was ready.

The team at the hotel are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The facility is in quite location yet close to everything
Nothing to mention

A simpatia e profissionalismo do staff. Os quartos e o pequeno almoço. A localização foi ideal para nós.

very nice, centrally located
customer service at check in was really disappointing.
Felt very much perhaps i ‘wasn’t good enough’ to be staying at Blythwood by the attitude of the receptionist. Really took the shine off our stay and was completely embarrassed as this was my birthday gift to a friend. I had stayed here before but she hadn’t. Perhaps she was having a ‘bad day’ but really was not appropriate to treat paying customers this way.

Beautiful hotel property and outstanding staff that were so accommodating and friendly. The 4 o’clock refreshment hour was a big hit!

The room was great, the people working at the hotel were all very professional and friendly. Location is also perfect.
No toilet brush in the toilet, but that's about it.

The staff are amazing. The concierge greeted us at the door as soon as we arrived and he made us feel so welcome. Everyone else could not have done enough for us.
When we arrived back in the evening we discovered a lot of hair behind the sink from the previous guest shaving. We also couldn’t get the kettle to work in the morning.

The staff are so kind and friendly. We were made to feel so welcome!
Nothing!

Not being able to use the spa before 5. For £319 that is ridiculous as we had a meal booked for 5pm so got no use of the spa on the first day. Won’t be back

Spacious room, friendly staff - accommodated an early check in without any problem.

the hotel is really lovely furnished in every aspect and the staff were very, very helpful, friendly and efficient
the menu's in the restaurant - sadly same during the day as in the evening with no changes, so not good - my husband and i are not big Seafood eaters so found the menu's very limited

Staff were fantastic - everyone literally could not have been nicer or more helpful. Breakfast was great both as room service and in the dining room. Room was well appointed and bed was super comfortable. Spa has been recently redone and was a great place to relax.
Fridge in room didn't work - I didn't see the point in lukewarm complimentary drinks. Probably wouldn't pay more for a garden view next time as the view was partially blocked by condensation in the windows.

The breakfast was disappointing . Hot but tired buffet. Poor cooking of a porridge served tepid with so much cinnamon on top to render it totally inedible. In Scotland as well 😩
See above re breakfast and there was no comfortable lounge and this in a hotel calling itself 5 star.

Location is great
I had massive problems with check in & the room had really gone down hill since our last visit ( 12 mths ago ) . Lots of things with the room were not good .

The Spa was amazing

Extras for a birthday were excellent. Dog friendly, beautiful food and cocktails. Husband's spa treatment was wonderful. The concierge staff were very helpful.
A major cycling event was taking place, which we were not aware of. No access to the hotel by road, and when we called for help, the receptionist could not offer any solutions. I asked to speak to the concierge, and they met us round the corner, took our luggage and parked the car (we asked for this service, £35).
Spa access hours should be more extensive for hotel guests (adult).

Room was so comfortable. Hotel laid on free wine for guests which was a lovely touch. Staff were very friendly but clearly under significant pressure.
Checking in was hampered by computer problems. Luggage was temporarily misplaced. Had to wait too long for table for pre booked breakfast. Service at breakfast slow, though staff were very kind. Evening Cocktail staff need to be supplied with uniforms..sadly some outfits were shockingly poor.
