We stayed for one night. It was a great base for going to see a show in Oxford. It was a 35 minutes walk, or you could bus from very close to the property. There were a couple of pubs, and local shops including M and S food. We luckily had use of the parking space outside and the owners asked us straight away if we needed parking.
Although the decor was a bit dated, the room was clean and warm. The bed was comfortable, en-suite was ok. Tea and coffee was supplied in the room. Breakfast was good, mainly continental, cereal toast we were also offed a fried egg and there was plenty of tea and coffee, a good range of jam and marmalade.
This was really good value for a B and B in Oxford. We would use it again if we needed somewhere to stay.

The information provided on the hotels website was not what we were informed when we arrived. Breakfast finished half an hour earlier, and check-out was also 30 mins earlier than stated.
There was no shared kitchen as indicated in the pictures, and we didn't see a laundry (though we did not ask).
The information states that there is a restaurant - this is not the case. It is straight up a B&B and does not pretend to be more.

Being on the 3rd floor wasn't fun, but the owners went out of their way to help us with our luggage, they even helped us all the way down the street where we had to park.
Nice place for the price, we'd certainly stay again and recommend it to our friends

I've picked this place just for one night with zero expectations, but it turns out it's actually good. It's an old house, yes, but the room is clean and big, with a decent and ample bathroom (with amenities nonetheless!), free breakfast (a rarity these days), and free wifi (another rarity in the uk, it seems). It beats the more expensive alternatives in the area.

Easy to find. Good location. Parking was available for only 2 cars

It is at a pretty convenient location, near multiple buses that goes to the main Oxford city center, and lots of restaurants near by. The room itself is comfy. The issues we had were, the room did not have clean sheets when we checked-in, and there was no one on-site when we arrived. There was a sign on the door to say - call this number, but is hard if you don't have cellular service (overseas visitor)

Not bad in that area. Check out 10 am is pretty early. Breakfast buffet will provide one egg and beans per person.

Comfortable stay. Property little dated and could do with a fresh coat of paint. Could do with a bit more attention on cleaning cobwebs on windows and dust on skirting boards. But clean bedding and towels. Owners pleasent and helpful. Only 2 parking spaces outside property but more parking on side street with a permit ( can get one from property). Lovely breakfast choice of cereals toast yogurts and fruit also offered bean and egg. Shops and restaurants a couple of minutes walk away.

You get what you pay….location was excellent, room was not the cleanest….lost an earing and was appalled by the amount of dirt under the bed and furniture….shower turned hot and extremely cold on its own….breakfast was a nice gesture ( microwaved eggs….but toast and cereal were ok)

Convinent location, nice , quiet with a lot dinning options and groceries store. Good breakfast although basic.
The hotel is old and without AC.

The carpets in the hall felt dirty and the place could use upgrading and more thought.

Good central location, very clean and cosy room, staff friendly.

The b and b was in a great location. Lots of shops and eateries. Walking distance to Oxford city.
I only paid £55 a night for this b and b so I did not expect fabulous facilities. But it was clean. Tea and coffee facilities. Tv in room. Breakfast. I felt safe as a woman on her own .

Good stay in an slightly older place. There were three of us. Comfortable and in a area with mini supermarkets, restaurants, good public transport etc. Breakfast had a good continental selection and host cooked fried eggs. Also cooked our daughters self brought GF bread and allergy tolerant. Would stay there again (many places in Oxford were crazy expensive).

The beds were ok but the room space was tight and the bathroom was cramped and very dirty. Couldn't wait to leave.

This property offered reasonably good value for the time in which I stayed- June graduation. I had a double room at the front of the property overlooking busy Banbury Road. The room itself was very shabby and dated, but I had expected that. The host family members were very sweet. I loved the location. There are great shops and cafes and grocery stores at your doorstep. The stop for the bus into the centre was a block away, frequent buses, £2 each way or £4.50 for a day pass. 10 minutes to the High Street. A beautiful city. Just wished the hotel room was a bit nicer. I saw some other rooms and they were much the same. Wouldn’t take much more than a paint job to make this place more appealing.

Strategic place, so many restaurant and coffe shop nearby the location

Good location, not too close from city center (about a 40 minute walk), but still close to smaller shops and restaurants. Room was on the smaller side but it was very clean. Very simple breakfast provided which consisted of cereal, juice/tea/coffee and yogurt cups, nothing fancy but enough to get the day started. Check-in is a little different since you have to call a number to have access to the front door. Still a lovely stay.

The host was wonderful there was Parking there was breakfast and the room was adorable. Yes, the property is a bit dated, but it was super clean and we loved our stay

All good - well received and looked after :-)

The property is a bit out of the way, but along a major road with good bus transpiration and local restaurants. The property is fairly basic, but reasonable for the money. Checkin can be done completely online and self-service, but the staff onsite can also help. Breakfast was okay albeit fairly basic.

Decent accomodation with a good host , free parking .

Adams guesthouse was very warm, welcoming and comfortable, It was only a continental breakfast, not a full English, but there was plenty of choice on offer for a continental breakfast, If I had to give any form of criticism, I would say, my only criticism was the place look dated, but it was clean tidy warm and welcoming. I would recommend this place if you’re looking to stay just outside of the city of Oxford. The guest house is on the main bus route to the city centre, or you could walk there in about 25 minutes

The service from the host was outstanding. The position is very close to the Uni and the room is clean.

For a budget price I had a clean comfortable bed and good selection for breakfast. It is not high end luxury but at this price that is not what I expected. Check in details would have been preferred earlier than day of arrival. Owner was helpful when phoned with check in questions and later over trouble with getting TV to work. Convenient for transport into Oxford City.

Once we were able to get into the house - nobody was there and four different number were posted to call for assistance - the inside was basic but okay. The rooms were fine - the bed was comfortable the area the staff friendly when we finally met them. Breakfast was good. Parking on site is very limited, but street parking is available. Bus service into the city is frequent. There are lots of local dining and shopping options a short walk away.
