The location was excellent for where we needed to be, ideal in fact. It is lovely and quiet, out in the woods, so great for peace and quiet. The room was big and spacious with a beautiful view of the garden. Bathroom had everything you needed. I liked the big, plump duvets.
I would have liked a little more of the cooked breakfast, perhaps the offer of sausage, black pudding, or beans would have been nice. The bacon, tomato and eggs that we had were delicious, I personally would have liked a little more.

Stunning location and room was lovely
Nothing at all

Delicious bacon; decaff coffee wd be a bonus
WiFi was unstable: lost signal several times mid-programme

Large comfortable room
No wifi, though I had a phone signal. And I would have appreciated a choice of teas, including herb tea, as only breakfast tea was available.

Location was good, the breakfast was good, self service for cereal, orange juice tea coffee. Then cooked breakfast was available. Served by Simon.

Wonderfully appointed, great size room and wonderful breakfast!
Nothing.

Friendly welcome, adapted breakfast to my needs, very comfortable room.Nice quiet location, off the beaten track and the satnav didn’t take me to the door, so a little exploration on foot was needed to find it on the first visit.
A little more detail on how to find the house, perhaps a sketch map from where the asphalt road ends.

Everything was as I expected and more.

This is a lovely rural B&B. I had a spacious and spotlessly clean room, which opened out onto the garden.

Very nice but could have done with a couple more items.
May be a sausage or slice of black pudding.
Just needed a little more, but apart from that, very tasty and well cooked.

Sadly I was working so missed out on how great this B & B was. Lovely room, very clean and at last a comfy bed. Simon was lovely too. I had to leave before breakfast, but imagine it was up to the standard of the room.

Lovely, big bright room comfortably and tastefully furnished with a beautiful view of the big garden. Breakfast included in the price. The host, Simon was very welcoming and helpful.
There’s nothing I didn’t like.

Location, comfortable

A luxurious, peaceful retreat. If I lived in this country I would come once a year. Great hosts, comfortable, spacious and luxurious room with a couch to curl up on and read. The countryside is lovely and even though it's a little in middle of nowhere it's also in the centre of everywhere. A short drive to lovely villages, palaces, castles and state homes. Elton house and garden is 'must see'. Delicious breakfast and a guest country kitchen with dining and lounging places, books, tv. Facilities to microwave food if eating in and a fridge. Beautiful garden, walks, views of fields and if you enjoy cycling bring your bike. Simon and Linda were friendly and there if you needed them but with my own entrance I could come and go as I pleased. One end of the house is solely for guests.
That I couldn't stay longer. It was a real treat.

Really nice B&B with a beautiful garden which I wish I'd had time to enjoy. Lots of space, comfortable room and Simon and Linda were lovely hosts.
Due to location you'd really need a car to get to this B&B.
