secure and functional.

Secure. close to shops and takeaways. Host was patient and polite. I managed to find street parking right outside the unit.

Cutlery was missing, Crockery was fine. NO mugs or drinking glasses. A previous guest had left a shirt in the cupboard. the kitchen units were damaged. The price was not worth the amenities. It was rubbish collection day and had unfortunately not been done my the council. it did initially concern me

The room was messy, the floor was disgusting and the place is generally a noisy place (I sent an email to the property to sweep the floor but nobody came over). Interestingly, there was a big ventilator on the roof and I can see the windows of other houses (because you can see other people's windows from there and of course, other people can see you too), a potential risk to security. I had to change my dress in the lo because of the open ventilator in the roof I was not comfortable at all. The TV in the room was so out of proportion making the room congested. I left the room a day and a night earlier and wrote to the property about my disappointment.

Perfect Studio!

Best stay ever! The studio was perfect and exactly what I needed. It was very clean, had everything I needed for my short stay including toiletries, slippers and tea/coffee! Check in was very easy, location was great and everything was kept well to a high standard! I will be returning!

Poor

The room was not cleaned, and there were no towels in the room. When I asked for them, the staff told me, they will be available the next day at 09:00 (I arrived 22:30 to the hotel). I asked them if they can deliver the towels earlier, they said no. The next day, the towels arrived at around 10:00 which made me very late for my conference. The windows are not well isolated and one can hear the noise from outside. it was very loud and noisy.

Truly awful!

Location was great for the Uni, everything else was terrible.

The studios are communal. Kitchen has no cooking or eating equipment. My actual room was tiny and windowless, only a small velux window for ventilation, with a permanent blind on it so no natural light. I left it open a crack and it leaked rainwater all over my suit, ipad and the floor. The state of the flooring showed I was not the first to fall foul of this. Completely mis-represented in the ad.

Cheap and convenient, but not luxurious!

Location is ideal for anything happening at the university, and there are lots of shops / cafes nearby.

Very noisy, both from outside and creaky floorboards. Not recommended if you’re a light sleeper.

Excellent place for short stays in close vicinity to the Birmingham university.

Excellent location with a less than 10 minute walk to the University of Birmingham. Very close to public transport bus and railways. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchenette. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Wifi was very good and has a large TV with multiple channels.

Bathroom was relatively small, and the room space was a bit small.

Perfect location for my night out. Clean and comfortable.

Although I arrived a little earlier than expected, the hosts were quickly contactable by phone and sorted my entry to the property by providing me with the code for the key safe next to the front door.

There were no loo rolls on my arrival. I reported this by phone to the host. She apologised. There was a little delay before loo rolls were delivered to the room. I imagine this is a fault that is unlikely to be repeated, but it's a good job I wasn't desperate! I was also told that there might be a problem with the cable tv - the host was up front about this. But that wasn't an issue for me as I didn't want to watch tv, so it might be that the cable tv was fine.

They cancelled my booking without any real explanation and I'm still waiting to be refunded. I had to pay for another place.

They took my booking and payment when we arrived at the property I received an email.to say reservation has been double booked so they will have to.cancel my reservation when a property is fully booked it clearly stated fully booked we was offered an alternative room we had to take it as we was.already there after a 30 pound taxi it was a little box room not spacious got clean and no 50 inch tv the way towels was in the bed what made the bed damp also the one key for the main front door fits all the rooms as everyone only had one key each what was all the same key not safe at all I highly recommend that you don't stay here keep away what an awful experience never again
