Fantastico

Posizione meravigliosa con affaccio delle finestre sulla basilica di Santa Chiara. Gestore presente sempre pronto ad aiutare in caso di necessità. Appartamento spazioso, ben curato e ben tenuto. Vicinissimo a 2 parcheggi.

Excelente estadia

Muito bom o apartamento. Excelente localização, bem em frente a Igreja de Santa Clara. Apartamento grande e bem equipado. Ficamos apenas uma noite. Formos muito bem recebidos por Giordano. Recomendo.

Nice location, spacious apartment

The apartment is very well situated - next to the Basilica di Santa Chiara. Apartment was spacious, with AC. I also used washing machine, which was very useful. I also got some food for breakfast (jams, biscuits, tea and coffee). Hosts were very kind.

There could be more dishes in the kitchen (pan, bowls, larger cups). Sometimes there was a noise from the street, but that's to be expected when you live in the city center. I would add protection (net) against insect to the windows. Sometimes (but every day) wifi was quite weak.

Comfortable stay, lovely location, great host

A lovely small, sunshiny apartment in a great location with new furniture, a well-equipped kitchen, and a huge terrace with views in all directions, as well as a good Umbrian restaurant a few steps up the walkway. I was there nine days and it had everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including a washing machine and empty closets and drawers. I especially loved its location a few steps away from the piazza of Santa Chiara, where you can have a gelato while watching the sun set over the valley. It’s also one of the best locations in Assisi if you are not fond of walking up and down steep hills. Another big plus is Giordano, the delightful host who cheerfully and efficiently arranges everything from inexpensive transport from the train station to luggage storage, as well as providing tips on local things to see and do. He really cares about his guests and is a great resource and problem-solver. I would definitely stay here again and advise my friends to do so as well.

The terrace was bare-bones because it lacked much greenery, but Giordano says roses and other plants have been delayed by supply problems and should arrive soon.

Giordano was a wonderful host who was responsive to all our questions and needs. He even arranged a taxi for us because

It was at a very good location and the apartment was very clean, had AC and beds were comfortable

Lots of stairs and no elevator Wifi was very weak and none of us could use it Stock up more toilet paper, paper towels

Home away from home

The super clean apartment is managed by an excellent host. So very helpful right from the start helping with luggage and getting settled. The location is directly across from Santa Chiara, Saint Clare Basilica. So location is extremely good, right on the main street leading from Santa Chiara to San Francesco Basilica. Restaurants, coffee bars, shops, scenic overlooks are all nearby. Apartment has a lovely terrace to sit and relax, view of Rocco Maggiore, and it is well equipped, including a washing machine. Perfect for a short or long stay. Highly recommend apartment and host.
