Good value, great location and easy parking.

Great location, very easy to find with clear lettering on the building. Good value for money, and great access to parking. The breakfast was included in the price and was very tasty.

Excellent location for visiting Puzzlewood

The room was very comfortable and offered, tea, coffee, hot chocolate making facilities. There was also sparkling water and orange juice available from a fridge in the hallway. The location is excellent for visiting Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. Breakfast was very nice, I tried both cooked and continental during our two night stay and very much enjoyed both. We had one evening meal while there which was also very good, alongside the cocktails which were very nice and an excellent price.

It was quite noisy of a nighttime as on a fairly main road with frequent traffic. We also had a sheep right outside our window the first night which stayed all night, but I think that isn't the norm.

A lovely rural retreat

This is a very rural location which suited us perfectly. The place was a little daunting when we got there because the car park was empty. However, we were met as arranged and the room was lovely, with beautiful decoration. Service was a little slow for breakfast in the morning, but the food was excellent.

Narrow stairs to get to the room. More comfortable chairs in the room.

An enjoyable stay.

The breakfast was really good and filling and well presented. The room was clean and very comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Would come back to The Miners when in the area. The evening meal was very nice.

Great, great great :D

The Miners Inn is the BEST inn by far! The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. The grounds were beautiful. On this 7-day road trip and we stayed in many small inns like this throughout the UK. This inn is so special. The innkeeper and his wife restored this inn. The pride that they took in their little Inn was exceptional. The service was top notch The Inn Keeper (Husband) was the sweetest person, a great cook, and the nicest person. He and his family live on the property. So service was exceptional. The best part is he is very close to Puzzlewood. No doubt we will return!

Good value for money.

This was a good location for attending a wedding at Clearwell Castle. Although I wouldn’t want to walk it! Very clean and tidy and the bed was really comfortable. It was nice to have a Gousto coffee machine in the room.

My only niggles are there wasn’t a full length mirror and the shower was a bit temperamental. The hose moved about and that affected the water pressure. The toilet seat was also loose.

Excellent Inn

We stayed here while attending a wedding in Clearwell castle and was very happy with our stay. It was a Great place to stay, very comfortable and clean. Excellent amenities, and breakfast options were lovely. Would gladly stay again.
