About this farm stay rental
Peacefully tucked away within the Devonshire countryside, a simply charming property with a wealth of character that’s further complimented by the stylish interior, perfect whatever the time of year.
This spacious family property is situated in an attractive rural location in mid-Devon. Within walking distance of the property you'll find a traditional family friendly village pub and a village shop offering a range of products. You'll not be disappointed if you're looking to spend time exploring the beautiful Devon landscape, Dartmoor National Park, The Tarka Trail, Ruby Way and Granite Way are all within easy reach. For warmer summer days, sandy beaches and dramatic coastline is only 30 minutes' drive away. Nearby attractions also include RHS Rosemoor, Southwest Segway Adventure and Roadford Lake Country Park for a multitude of water sports.
On entering the property you will immediately be delighted with the large generously sized rooms. The hallway is the perfect spot to hang your coats, wipe paws and leave your walking boots behind you. Following on through the property you will enter the spacious traditional farmhouse open plan kitchen lounge area, plenty of room for all the family. It boasts a beautiful fireplace with wood burner. Sit back, relax and lose yourself in a good book, catch up on the day's adventures or enjoy a movie or two on the TV/DVD. The remarkable modern country kitchen is well-equipped with electric range oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. At the back of the kitchen is a specious utility room which offers a washing machine and dryer. On the ground floor there is a separate WC. Upstairs on the first floor you will find three spacious bedrooms, all king-size with en-suite shower rooms and WC. On the first floor you also have an office. All the rooms upstairs have amazing views across the rolling countryside.
Outside, the property enjoys a large, enclosed garden with a pleasant patio seating area with a BBQ and lawned area. Ample parking available.
