Great location for work in Bristol as I came up the M4. Room was well appointed and very comfortable. Continental breakfast was ample.
It's friendly and peaceful. I liked it.
WiFi was not great.
The White Horse, walking distance, does great food, bit expensive for a pub though. Book if you arrive early or in advance if you are that organised.

Friendly staff
The beds were really uncomfortable and the double bed squeaked so much it woke us up every time we turned over. The shower was very poor snd difficult to wash long hair. Everything felt a bit tired and not very special.

Breakfast was ok, and the staff very friendly in the canteen
Extremely uncomfortable bed, did not feel safe as the main door in the room was very flimsy and the second door didn't lock. it is very very dated

Functional and warm room with good tea and coffee facilities
Very loud in evenings on Saturday night to midnight, hard to get kids to sleep before 11pm. Can hear a lot of noise with other guests, talking shouting, and banging of doors. We woke up early too from before 7am with lots of noise. Not very peaceful.

Characterful, clean and cosy
Rather starkly lit breakfast area

Rooms were large, well heated and very comfortable
The location is a good 20 minute drive from Bristol. It was ok for us but if you want to go out to pubs/clubs and restaurants somewhere more central maybe better.
8.0
Gluten free breakfast very good
Expected noise through ceiling from other guests due to age of property

Lovely manager, good breakfast and service, good location but surprisingly peaceful considering proximity of
fast roads
It was clean but a little tired and in need of maintenance - we appreciate that it is possibly a casualty of COVID.

The room was nice and comfortable, breakfast was included in the price and there was lots of choices, the staff were really friendly. Location good for Bristol centre about 7min drive to Cabot Circus.
Drove past it initially as I didn't notice the sign so keep an eye out on the road!

Unique building in a lovely setting. We used it as a stopover on our way back from Cornwall. Private car park. Lady at check in very helpful. Lady at breakfast was really lovely- enjoyed breakfast a lot. Great value for money.
The was a smell of damp in the room which I believe comes from the mould on the ceiling of the bathroom.

Reasonably priced, quiet room and very good breakfast which was served by very friendly staff.
We arrived around 10 p.m. to be told that they were locking up as we were the last guests to arrive. We weren't sure if we could get back in if we had decided to go out again...
