Boa localização e muito limpo.
As instalações são muito antigas, o mobiliário está um pouco degradado.

It felt like a mental hospital converted to rooms for the use of hotel. Don’t help that the emergency exits were locked as well
Everything. It felt like an old age home or a mental hospital.

The lady who helped us was very kind and working hard. I believe she was alone, so kudos to her!
Everything else was terrible. It needs refurbishment badly, halls and room stank of smoke. Rooms look very different to how they're advertised online. It's just gross.
It looked like I had dried blood on my pillow.

staff were excellent and friendly
evening meals were not being served on first night
chef couldn't find bacon for breakfast on last day
very few drinks were available at the bar. both alcoholic and soft drinks

The beds are comfy
Left one person to check everyone in and serve at the bar, she was amazing the way she dealt with the situation but not acceptable. The breakfast was horrible and they charge £7.99 for that, cold, no bacon and the quality was dreadful. Smells terrible when you walk in. l

On inspection only, the proper-sized 2-person shower was the only redeeming feature.
When I booked, I booked "Ox Hotel", on arrival after driving around trying to find said hotel, we find "Milton Hilltop Hotel"???
Finally finding this place, the outside told the story....
All pictures on booking.com are extremely dated and taken obviously, when they were first advertised/opened.
The reception lady was nice & sort of shocked when we checked out so quickly.
Everything else was NOT as advertised.
I was so disappointed & upset I forgot to take any pictures and just wanted to leave.
Our room had the usual TV, tea-making facilities, bed, toilet & shower (which to me was the only redeeming feature there) and the room had (obviously) received a recent lick of white paint.
A pipe in the ceiling of our room had a nice raw-edged box cut around it, not even attempted to be filled in.
The carpet on one side of the bed had precarious looking fresh brown stains.
My fiancé believes this to be more of a conference hotel....personally, no self-respecting business people would stay there.
We left an hour or so after arriving and I was prepared to lose the £180 I'd paid, just to go elsewhere. If I could get some or all of my money back on false advertising grounds, I would!

It was convenient
It was nothing like the pictures. It has been renovated very cheaply. The toilet was not fixed to the floor correctly. There was a hole in the bathroom door. The only window in the room was tiny and frosted so there was no view.

Jack the receptionist/ bar person very helpful and friendly
First impressions not good, signage and entrance shabby
First room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, another room provided quickly by Jack.
Rooms very tired and worn , back of bathroom door was damaged, lots of lime scale in bathroom and in toilets by the bar which weren’t clean.
Breakfast was poor, no eggs, ( we were advised in advance of this), no beans, tables not very clean

Convenient location. We just needed somewhere to sleep and it was fine for that.
Very dated decor and furnishings. Reception staff checked us in but didn't tell us where our room was and the labeling from reception wasn't adequate to find it.
Breakfast was adequate but nothing special.

Not much to like to like about this place at present. Has good parking but make sure you register your car. Pizza hut in 2 minutes walking distance.
Hotel has recently changed owners. New white paint is abundant but not finished. Rooms are stark. Toilet was not even fixed to the floor properly. Had to prove that I had paid for the room as asked to pay again on arrival. The same happened at breakfast this morning. Very, very poor quality and limited choice at breakfast. Would be hard pressed to rate this as a two star hotel at the current time.

Easy to find. Great free parking. Near to the centre of Carlisle. Rooms basic but comfortable and warm. Beds very comfortable. Good big screen tv. The full English breakfast was great if too much. Toast tea available etc.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good value for the money.
Wifi in room not too good but ok in reception area. No fruit in breakfast. The hotel seemingly has just had a refit and is still a bit quiet but that was not a bad thing.

Leaving the hotel at 5.30am
Where do I start? Sited next to a sexual health clinic, the place is deserted, the kettle didn't work and wasn't pat tested, the shower pressure was non existent and came in spurts instead of a flow.
The sink tap was stop start blasts like there was air in the pipes.
There was no bin for any rubbish, the uht milk was out of date.
We literally couldn't wait to leave at 5.30am.
If we weren't 200 miles from home we would have left a soon as we arrived
3.1
Close to shops and town center free parking.
Cold shower and very dated.
