Overlooking the North bay in the original Victorian seaside resort of Scarborough, Queenscliffe is a striking holiday home with breath taking views of the sea and of Scarborough Castle.
Sleeping up to ten guests across five bedrooms, this spacious, modern and stylish terraced house is perfect for family holidays or getaways with friends. The ideal staycation spot, you can spend quality time with loved ones whilst enjoying the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline in a property that is truly home from home.
Queenscliife is a stunning terraced property with beautiful sea views and within easy walking distance of all that Scarborough has to offer. Boasting an airy and light living room, spacious dining area, fully equipped kitchen and five ensuite luxurious bedrooms, there is ample space for any occasion or celebration.
As you enter the property, you’ll find Queenscliffe’s dining room straight ahead. Traditionally designed with wood wall paneling and Parquet flooring that showcases some of the original character but with a modern twist.
The space is tastefully styled with a large solid wood dining table and ten high back chairs, the perfect space to enjoy a meal and relax.
The kitchen also on the ground floor features modern wooden cabinets and light grey flooring. Fully equipped for self-catering staycations of variable durations, the kitchen includes an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine and kettle. This front facing room offers amazing views of the North Bay and Castle.
The living room is found on the first floor and has a large bay window providing lots of natural light and frames the stunning views out to sea and across Scarborough’s North Bay. The spacious relaxing room has two comfortable grey sofas and two red cosy armchairs. The room boosts a large smart tv for all your entrainment needs although the views are the main feature of this room and hard not to be mesmorised.
Queenscliffe has five spacious bedrooms spread over the remaining 3 floors all en-suite, boasting king size beds in each. Every bedroom has a home from home feeling that's warm and welcoming. The high quality linen and towels provided will ensure that you will have restful sweet dreams to ensure you are all ready for the adventures of the next day.
For a real touch of luxury, the amazing Master bedroom on the top floor has a freestanding bathtub set in front of the large bay window offering breathtaking views and providing a tranquil place to unwind as you witness the ever-changing sea views.
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Queenscliffe are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
Private on-site parking is available for three standard vehicles.
Scarborough is the quintessential location to make lasting memories, with morning strolls along the promenade following in the footsteps of the early Victorians and feeling the sand between your toes as you explore the beaches, and for the more adventurous maybe a surfing lesson.
The South beach offers many traditional ice cream parlors and lots of local seafood stalls offering whelks, mussels, crabs and much more. Explore the beautiful Italian Gardens, before heading into the town center for shops, bars and restaurants aplenty. Scarborough boasts The Open Air Theatre which is an outdoor venue for bands, and singers, or enjoy a night at the famous Stephen Joseph Theatre, that's the home of local playwright Alan Ayckbourn who lives in the town. The theatre offers first class plays, music, films and comedy for all tastes.
With so much to do in the area a visit to Peasholm Park is a must, voted in the top ten parks in the UK. With a rich history and after having recently received a prestigious Green Flag Award, this oriental themed municipal park offers a beautiful system of streams and waterfalls, mini bridges and mystical gardens for the whole family to enjoy. The park is also home to the world famous Naval Warfare (July and August) – a unique miniature sea battle that has been shown on television screens across the globe. A unique family holiday attraction and possibly the longest running show of all time.
The Alpamare water park with its outdoor pools, wave machine and exhilarating state-of-the-art water rides is also nearby to add to the many attractions that Scarborough has to offer.
Other attractions include a trip to see the seals, penguins, sharks, turtles at the Sea Life Centre. Then onto Scarborough Castle with its 3,000 years of history to enjoy.
If you’re planning to explore further afield during your stay, Dalby Forest, Whitby, Pickering, Staithes, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey, are all within an hour’s drive.

A refundable damage deposit of £150 is required before arrival and returned within 72 hours of departure subject to an inspection.
