Location and cleanliness
All the facilities that were advertised such as the pool and roof top bar were closed. Was one of the main reasons we went to stay. The weather on the day was ideal for pool day. Hot and clear sunny skies. It was also a weekend.
Staff even told us the roof top bar would open at 5pm and it didn’t.

It is visually nice and the staff is friendly.
There was a huge roach in my room. Did not have washcloths or enough towels. The bed is on the floor. I was promised that the resort fee would be waived.

Location
No fridge, broken fan in toilet, low bed, hidden fees that added 500$ to our stay

The accommodation is clean, staff are friendly and the location is perfect for access to Manhattan and exploring Brooklyn
The room was basic. Ideally a comfortable chair would have been good. The beds are very low which was fine for me but older customers would have struggled.
Access to tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been ideal. Coffee and tea in the morning and evening in reception would with a decaf option too would have been a good.
3.5
Coffee, tea and snack was complimentary in the morning.
Easy and quick to get to Manhattan with subway.
Could have been more soundproof. Noise from people in corridor.

Not much
Absolutely the most awful staff and attention to detail of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Why are they so lazy? What is wrong with management?
Will never stay here again and will actively advise my contacts not to.
Complete disgrace. The owners must be embarrassed

The location was great. The hotel was very cute and the pool was nice.
The bed frames they made way too much noise.

Location, pool was cute
This hotel has a spring break , hostel vibe.. if it’s what you are looking for, enjoy!

Bed was comfortable. I like having no carpet in the room. Glad to have water bottles daily.
Shower floor was level with bathroom floor--had to put towels on floor to prevent flooding the rest of the bathroom.
I would have liked to have a fridge in the room.

Loved my room with the balcony overlooking the park, lovely staff and great location
The pool was amazing but it was absolutely rammed with people on day-passes. One day it was really too full to swim

Location and roof top was open late
Took a while to check in the receptionist left for a time before we arrived, we had to wait about 10/15 minutes for her to return after enjoying the fireworks we missed waiting for her…..(defeated the purpose of the trip). Parking was horrible the parking garages would t even accept us as hotel guests because holiday lots were all full we drove around for a half hour just looking for parking, just to have the parking garage next to the hotel be open after we trucked 5 blocks with our luggage to the hotel after finally finding parking.
Also we were noted for a free upgrade per the bookings ap and the receptionist was clueless about this promo and we were so annoyed by the time we finally got to check in upon her return that it wasn’t even worth the argument

Very friendly staff! Love pets!
It has gotten more pricey but in fairness, the hotel underwent a lot of renovation since we were last there. And the place looks great !!

cute aesthetic, great pool
lots of noise transfer from hallway

Location great, nice pool view, quiet. Loved having a king sized bed
No refrigerator and hard to get ice. Had to ask staff. Very little house keeping so had to ask for towels several times. Didn’t like that kids were only allowed in pool area 10-11 on weekends.. It was too cool to swim then.

good location. nice staff.
felt a little catfished as it was advertised as a nice boutique hotel but rooms felt shabby and grimey. furniture was massive for the size of the room and layout/design was poorly considered. terrible smell in the lobby and hallways - the fragrance smelled like urine.

We were there for only one night, not enough time to truly rate a place. I can say that the hotel is nice, it has a good location,in walking distance to several subway stations. When you arrive the aroma in the lobby is very pleasant. We arrived early in the morning and were surprised that we were given a room immediately.
Our room was plain with comfortable beds.
I
We did not get towels, it took asking three times to get them.
For the price I expected better

I mostly loved a lot about this hotel. The location, the size of the hotel, the large gym (big bonus) and most of the staff were excellent. This would be my "go to" hotel if it weren't for the issues around the booking and their lack of proactively working out a resolution. I also felt like they weren't telling the truth which adds to a feeling a distrust. Mistakes happen, be honest, work out a plan.
Neither of the rooms I booked and paid for well in advance were available at check in. I selected Coda for the 490 sq. foot King rooms. Since it was a 5 day stay I was thrilled to find rooms this size. When I arrived I was given a much smaller King room without a separate living space. I had to come back to the desk and lose my cool a bit (never fun). The other room provided was the Penthouse which is right below the roof club and while a very nice room, very loud until late at night. So neither room was what I booked. I was told there was a mechanical issue so .. sorry. But other staff said they have had issues with over booking or double booking rooms. I had to demand compensation for moving us to a smaller less expensive room. That would seem beyond obvious and they should have proactively worked with us. We spent close to $5000 on rooms and another $3,000 plus for a graduation dinner. They don't seem to get customer service. When I checked out they charged me for the Resort fee's for both rooms. Reviewing my booking I see it was included in my pre payment. So now I need to get over $900.00 back from them. What is really a bummer is that I want to LOVE this hotel. It's really pretty sweet.... so please get it together and give your guests a better experience with rooms and fee's etc.
*** Update*** Coda promptly reimbursed us for all over charges and the room situation.. so that makes me like them more.
