Superb

breakfast was great. variety in what was served. missed the pancake machine it did not work..

A two-bedroom suit with a tiny bathroom. I get it, not much to be done about it, but that was a disappointment with two adults and three small children.

Not bad but not good for the cost

Breakfast was only fair. Juice was like a powered drink mix with water. Not good. No pancakes just waffles. When I asked about the pancakes she said was not delivered this week

Nice staff but limited air circulation in second room

Basic with very friendly staff.

We had the two room suite. The second room did not have air con nor heating. I wonder how this can be called a room? It appears to have been a storage room converted to a room.

Brown water. Install water filtration?

Location was convenient.

Old, marginally maintained facilities. Water was brown. Staff said it is always that way. Why not install filtration system? We chose not to shower and just left.

Very good

The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was great. Very clean.

The lady who checked clearly needs to improve her customer service skills. We had an appt at 1 pm. We arrived at 11:30 and asked if we could check in early to get ready. She acted super put out that we would ask. She asked what type of room we had booked. I gave the reservation # (I had prepaid) so she could see the details..she didn't want to look it up and told me "just tell me". I couldn't remember if I'd asked for a ground level floor (which I usually do). She said she couldn't tell me what had been reserved for me. She didn't look up the reservation and seemed very irritated that we had arrived early (although my reservation said we would be arriving at noon). She then flat refused to work with us on checking in an hour early. We ended up driving to the local fairgrounds where the bathrooms are clean and I washed my face, dressed for our 1 pm appt and made the appt on time. Hotel was nice...staff needs improvement. I have a degree in Travel & Hospitality and am very in tune to the importance your front staff has on a business.

Overall, a clean, quiet and comfortable room.

Breakfast was on par with other hotel complimentary breakfasts. Room was very clean, comfortable bed and quiet.

Rates were a little high, parking near room was a little sparse.

Clean, comfortable, modern rooms and breakfast area.

I was pleasantly surprised. The outside looks like a slightly dated motel but don’t let that fool you because they have put their upgrade money where it matters most, the inside. The rooms are modern looking and are very comfortable and clean. The reception and breakfast area have also been updated and are as nice and up to date as any new hotel. If I am every traveling that way again I will definitely stay there again.

The parking area is a little on the small side but not horrible.

In rm 254 next to the stairs and the light for the stairs was on all night. Which was alittle annoying.

Stayed one night passing through. Worked for us.

Location is short staffed as in so many places these days. Additional staff help needed. Existing staff worked hard to make up the shortfall.

More variety in breakfast buffet offering.

I travel to Lakview once a year, this's my first time at Bestwestern & Ill continue to book with BW.

The bed was great. and Sherry at the front desk was great. plus I do not stay anywhere without it having breakfast. Breakfast was awesome

Comfort room

Although not upscale, this is definitely the most comfortable and updated hotel in Lakeview. (We walked around and checked out the other places) The bed was comfortable and there is an indoor pool and jacuzzi (we saw but didn’t use), and the ice machine worked well and the staff was responsive.

No muffins or oatmeal in the breakfast.

Just what we needed as we took a rest on our way home.

The staff and room were great for our overnight stay on our way to our ultimate destination.

In this day and age even the standard good hotels have higher rates than expected, but overall we were pleased with our short stay here.

Friendly and clean with great breakfast and nice people

I really like the people that run this place they are very nice and friendly. The breakfast is outstanding. Its nice and quiet.

Parking is a problem and we struggled to find a spot near our room. Hot tub water was green color and did not look good at all. Last year pool was not working. I look for places with hot tub and pool, so its disappointing when you get there and main attractions arent functional....but your still paying the price as if they were functional, I do not like that.

Quiet

Bathroom light on outside of bathroom door so had to turn on light and fan when entering; disturbing to partner at night; Curtains too small to adequately block outside night lights from illuminating room, Staff was less than friendly. Didn't ask us for room preference; didn't ask how was our stay at checkout; didn't thank us for staying with them; didn't feel our business was important or appreciated.
