This hotel is great for visiting Seattle. The location is fabulous with easy walking to Downtown and most attractions. Parking is very close and affordable. Considering the proximity to the city, it was nice and quiet.
The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Our room was very spacious, clean and tidy.
While it is very in keeping with the "theme" of the hotel, I felt the decor was very 'dated' and the hotel looks much older in person than the photos portrayed on the website.

Art deco beauty. I love seeing them embrace what makes this hotel so unique and beautiful, I'm excited to see what the renovations will bring. It was very fun learning about the history of this hotel and being able to share that with my friends. This hotel turned from a place to stay to an experience.
I wish there was more information on the history of the hotel, I would love to see original photos of the apartments and the rooms.

It was very quaint and a little old fashioned. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was just right for my trip.
The bathroom was a little on the small side. But definitely usable.

The staff was excellent and very helpful and the location was good
You have to pay for parking and the lot had about 10 cars broken into while I was staying at the hotel.

No utensils, one burner left on the worn out stove. The smell of old grease was stomach turning. Last upgrade was in the 1970s. Horrible.
Almost everything was worn out and smelled horrible. No air conditioning. Thread bare carpet. A revolting third world hotel room in modern America. What a complete rip off.

This is an old hotel that could do with 'some' money being spent on it, however its charm/value lies in its location and some of its older features. The staff in our opinion make up for any shortcomings and are very helpful.
Nothing that would stop me from going back.

Relatively spacious for the price, friendly staff.
We had a kitchenette and they would not give us plates or cutlery. We had to ask every day for two packets of coffee so we would be able to make coffee. The printer didn’t work, so I had to email my file to staff member so they could print it on the office computer.

I really liked the amount of space. I also liked the kitchen and the art deco design.
The elevator was a bit scary but I had one just like it in college so it wasn't that bad.

Proximity to the hospital was nice. Kitchen was nice. Old hotel but clean. Full size bed was comfy but pillows weren’t. Needed a bigger bed for two. Tile in bathroom has some mold.
Bathroom tile has a little mold. Pillows were horrible.

it was close to both the water district and the colleges and Capitol Hill.

An inexpensive option. Rooms are very very authentic vintage and the place has a creepy
charm. Customers should know it’s part of a big hospital complex.
Staff was very helpful shutting off an alarm clock in the vacant room next door.

The bed was extremely comfortable, the water was cold and delicious or hot as needed. Very nice shower. Everything was very clean. The lobby rooms are very pretty with some interesting paintings and a beautiful fireplace. The location is great, walkable to all over downtown and across the street from a lovely hotel restaurant called Stella. Superior coffee at Retro Coffee down the hill and great pastries or Vietnamese food right around the corner.
The entryway is not always staffed so it could seem a bit lonely. Also, you have you let them know if you want your room done up. The carpet was thoroughly vacuumed but badly in need of replacing - the room had a a bit of a funny smell. Weekday early mornings there was some very loud garbage truck noise for a little while. Very small bathroom.

They would have to be more friendly and care of all the guest in the Hotel.
I feel like because I was Hispanic I didn't get the same treatment of a white person.
Yes I blame the front desk for that.
I was on vacation for my mom's birthday and was very disappointment for all the stay.
Plus they charge me twice on my credit card the room.

Staff was either absent or confused. When there, My presence as a guest seemed to annoy them. Like I was a nuisance to them.
Had to walk back and forth between building across the street from each other to get registered. No offers to help. Again, I was more a nuisance than a guest.

Expensive for the quality of the room. The wifi was poor.

I really wish the ad made it more clear that the stove and oven in the pictures were not functional. I get it that the ad didn't list those two things but seeing photos of them in the ad made me think they were functional. As such I booked this place because of that single feature, then I come to find out that they have been disconnected.

Room was very clean, beds super comfortable. It's not for those needing luxury finishes as they are dated, but a comfy bed, quiet neighborhood and cool art deco building.
Bathroom is quite dated and tiles a bit discolored. If you need a very presentable bathroom this is not it. Rest of room very tidy and clean.
10.0
Room and staff both nice very comfy bed roof top and parking was 24dollars all day so I was happy
