the location was great. I didn't spend much time in the room. But the fact that they charged me $200 for what I got was truly disgusting.
The room was small. no air conditioning. The window looked into a breeze way. The room smelled like cigarettes. The bedding was dirty. The floor was sticky. There was construction going on. It was a terrible stay. So terrible I should reach out to my credit card company for some kind of rebate. I couldn't sleep at the thought of dirty bedding. like honestly, the building should be condemned.

Perfect location next to the subway, cable car and bus lines. A 5 minute walk to Castro and all the LGBTQ+ places. Clean. Great shower. Towels changed out daily. Window and good heating. Friendly staff that stored our luggage all day, once we checked out.
Bed was full size, not queen. A bit tight for a couple

Location was very good.
Friendly manager (He let us store our luggage for a few hours after check out)
Shared bathroom and toilet, but very clean.
No refrigerator

close to BART and MUNI and close to the Castro
horrible mattresses and no coffee machine

good location, seemed clean as well!!
very small double bed and you could feel the sprinkles in the bed.

The value + location! I've stayed at the Paramount as well before and was very happy (I think they're sister hotels, right?). I'll definitely continue staying at both! Staff are so nice and helpful!
Maybe just having an extra blanket in the room? One night I woke up a little cold but other than that everything was good.

nice,calm,clean place, best price/quality ratio

Very Friendly and helpful staff.
Anytime again when in San Francisco.
A lot of shops and restaurants nearby

Clean, comfortable room. Good location for transit, dining. Good heater.
Rain style shower head too weak to rinse properly. No elevator and I'm disabled. Understandable in an older property.

the bathroom was nice .
the main window was stuck open and I didn’t realize it till the morning. it was very cold all night. a little miserable.

Value for money and location. Cleanliness for shared showers and toilets is impeccable.
The hotel was very accommodating for a night cancellation and for that we thank them...
The bedding is not of very good quality and the soundproofing leaves something to be desired.

Nothing went well, I left after the first night. I'm sorry I even stayed that long.
The entire building is freezing, there is no heat anywhere and the windows all through the halls and bathrooms are open all the time, even when the weather is below 50 degrees. It is impossible to describe the deteriorated rooms except to say that it would be your worst nightmare.

I loved the location and staff were friendly!
the beds are extremely outdated. You can feel the coils when you moved, similar to a water bed. I slept here for two nights and my whole body hurt.

good localisation ! for the price it’s very good !
old hotel but good ;)

Great location, good starting point to get around with public transport (metro and bus 22 are handy from here), great area for food and drinks with Castro and the Mission close by
My room did not look like the pictures. Strong smell of detergents in the hallway and rooms. Rooms really basic and a bit run down, acceptable for one or two nights.

Great staff!

The location was great for me and the staff was there if I had any questions. It was clean and good for my short stay
The internet was not the greatest and that would have been helpful for work.

The room was surprisingly clean and modern - I didn't think there'd be housekeeping during my stay, but there was. The man at the front desk was also exceptionally kind and helpful. The location provided excellent access to public transportation, good restaurants, and the Castro a short walk away. The price also could not be beat.
The towels were a little thin. The showerhead was one of those rain showers, which is a wonderful option, but it was frustrating for me as I don't like getting my hair wet each time I shower and there wasn't a shower cap. These are minor details, though, considering the affordability and location.

Bed was comfortable and room nice size, they also held my bags on the last day after checkout (I had a midnight flight) and let me use the shower again before flight
Shared showers but I didn't have an issue

Fantastic location, was very easy to access from the airport. Great options of food and bars on the same street (and a fab retro arcade). We loved the walk to Haight Ashbury which was only about 30 minutes.
The room was good value for money. It was pretty warm but fine once we opened the window. Bed was very comfy.
The bathroom didn't have a sink only a hand sanitiser unit which didn't work. There are sinks in the rooms though which is great.
