Gerne wieder - vielen Dank für alles, hat mir sehr gut gefallen

Die Lage war sehr zentral, ich wurde freundlich empfangen und konnte vor der Check Inn Zeit bereits Duschen und meine Sachen Waschen und Trocknen (beides 10 Dollar). Da ich mit dem Fahrrad kam war mir die sichere Unterstellung dieses sehr wichtig, was auch geschah, es war eine sichere Nachbarschaft, ich fühlte mich gut aufgehoben, es war sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Im Schlafsaal schlief ich sehr gut. Kartenzahlung war möglich. Im Schlafsaal gab es Spinde - welche mit dem eigenen Vorhängeschloss abschließbar waren. Pfannkuchen war gut, Regal für „free stuff“ (Essen) war vorhanden.

Das Licht im Schlafsaal ging nicht - hatte ich vergessen Gary zu sagen. Sorry. Sonst alle gut.

Great value! Great vibes! Great people!

The staff was incredibly nice, very kind and accomodating. Good vibes in this place from staff and guests, very laid back. There's spacious common areas.

Maybe update some furniture, bedding, linens...maybe offer lodging to someone who does interiors/carpentry/general contracting to update some things, it has PHENOMENAL vintage charm that could be presented better with more modern touches

Aubergede jeunesse très agréable et bien située pour visiter SLO à pied. Personnel très sympathique et petit-déjeuner en "communauté" convivial.

Good if you wanna rest, but don't expect fun nights

Hostel is located in really nice area of small quiet town :) Good place if you just wanna rest on your roadtrip/trip and wanna continue next day. Safe neighborhood with lot of parking. We were lucky to meet staff member from our country, and had a good stay!

If you're looking for hostel with entertainment and fun stuff to do, I wouldn't recommend this one.

Alright night

The location is super! Close to the center and close to the train station. The people are friendly here.

The facility is quite basic. Our room is linked to the shared restroom, which is a bit odd, although the door in between is locked. Every time when someone uses the restroom in the night, the light and sound wakes us up. The hostel is closed between 11am and 16:30, so no early arrival possible.

Für eine Nacht total eine gute und preisgünstige Übernachtungsmöichtkeit.

Die Pancakes am Morgen waren super und die Lage toll.

Die Betten waren durchgelegen, dass man jede einzelne Feder spüren konnte. Die Duschen teilsweise schimmlig. Allgemein veraltete Infrastruktur. Sollte mal renoviert werden :)

Great hostel, good alternative to expensive hotels.

The staff were all quite friendly and helpful. The pancake breakfast was lovely and I particularly appreciated the Easter dinner they invited the guests to attend. Really nice people.

The bunk beds in the female dorm were squeaky so every time someone shifted around I woke up.

The owner, Jarred, was the most gracious and kind hostel host I've ever encountered! He's truly created a warm and welcoming environment. Staff was also incredibly kind and inviting. Centrally located. On site parking. Clean. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone passing through SLO. Seriously cannot say more positive things about my stay here.

The beds are a bit uncomfortable.

Great location! just a 5 minute walk from the train station. 10 minute walk to downtown.

The staff were great and the hostel is great except. They need to honor reservations.

I liked the hostel generally and the guests were all very friendly as I had hoped. The location was great and the hostel was appropriately funky.

I booked a private room months in advance, and was told upon arrival that I had been moved to a dorm room at a lower price. I booked the private room because I am a snorer and didn't want to disturb the sleep of others. The situation turned out to be very uncomfortable for me and the other guests sharing a room with me. It was awkward for me as I know that I caused people to lose sleep.

I stayed at the hostel for a week, and wish it had been longer! I highly recommend it.

The sourdough pancake breakfasts were amazing! I also enjoyed hanging out in the common area with the staff and other guests. The location was perfect for walking downtown.

- nice crew - nice hostel facilities, I love that it has different cottages you are staying in with plenty of space - outside facilities are great and very comfy - loved it - great location, you can walk to the beach or to downtown - everything what you need
