It has beautiful style, very cozy, huge and comfortable bed and big bath tub

we love this place… it’s kind of becom our tradition to go there every autumn. Tge property is beautiful with tge pond and all the animals. tge rooms are very comfortable, clean and set with everything you need…and with the fireplace makes it so cozy as romantic.
we can’t never figure out the tv there…but it’s not something we really miss on

Location was awesome. Bed was extremely comfortable. We recieved an email with detailed instructions on how to arrive onto the property with it being about 20min away from our destination with a drive worth doing up the mountain. The property has many hidden gems that are amazing and worth walking their trail. Don't forget to bring vanilla wafers for the year round tenants🐴
Our bathtub's jacuzzi feature didn't seem to work. We felt that we didn't have the correct instructions and tools on how to start or maintain a fire in the room's fireplace. The wifi also seemed poor although it wasn't a major issue for us it does affect the smart TV. Lastly, there were some remnants of the previous visitor about as well.

Beautifully decorated, immaculately maintained, spectacular view, relaxing atmosphere, cozy layout, delightful amenities
Running water has a sulphur odor

I loved the location, very rural, surrounded by the Catskill mountains. We loved the animals, we brought vanilla wafers and fruit to feed them, it was wonderful. There’s also nice walking trails on the property. We will definitely come back!
The water smelled like sulfur but it was no big deal to us. And the porch had bird poop on it so you had to remote your shoes every time you entered the room, also no big deal for us

Everything. We were in love the second we walked through the gate. Relax, enjoy and have your morning coffee with peacocks!
Nothing, it’s magical

It is a wonderful place overlooking a pond and farm animals on the other side of pond. The room was very comfortable and my dog didn't want to leave the place.

The animals
The smell of the tap water, the ants in the room, the size of the shower, the uncomfortable lounge chairs, instead of the sleeper sofa as listed in the description, and the lack of air conditioning the first night.

Nice rooms, very comfortable beds. Good coffee and free bottles of water in the room. Loved the location and all the farm animals on the grounds.
The floor boards are VERY creaky. I had a hard time sleeping because the people in the room above us were walking around until almost 2am, creaking with every single step. Try to get a second floor room if you can.

Returning for the second time. One of my favorite places in Upstate NY. A perfect getaway and my favorite rooms with fireplaces.

Just about everything! The view was #1 for me. I couldn't stop looking out at the mountains in the background and then a little cabin with the horses and the lake just in front of the cabin. Just beautiful. I loved being able to go up to all the animals and pet and feed them, they were all so friendly. I had a male peacock hang out right in front of my sliding door to my room and he wanted to come in! LOL The staff were helpful, the room was spotless, there was a gorgeous fireplace and a big jacuzzi tub, all cabin like wood walls floors and ceilings. I cannot wait to come back here!!!
There was no hot water in the shower but hot water in the sinks and bath tub.
The water coming out of the faucets smelled of sewage or farm? I'm from the city so I'm not sure what it was and I couldn't brush my teeth with the sink water.

The Kaaterskill was the most amazing property! We loved having a fireplace in our room for the chilly evenings. Waking up to the mini horses and rest of the animals was so beautiful. We enjoyed walking the trail around the property, feeding the animals and relaxing. We were provided a pack n play for our 8 month old as well as some cozy blankets. We loved the property and will be staying again!

Just amazing. So tranquil and stunning.
