Fun times in the Old Town

The location was great. Just 2 streets over from St George St but close enough to walk and quiet enough to enjoy the evening away from the crowds.

Steps... We had a room on the second floor. The staircase is very narrow and steep.

Great location and Wonderful Breakfast.

Close to everything. Food was fantastic. Wonderful visit! We also loved the robes and extra amities.

Rooms need a bit of repair, but part of staying in an old Historic property.

Perfect way to spend a long holiday weekend

This was a great way to spend my Christmas. The location is great, the house is adorable and my room was fun! The mother-daughter hosts were fantastic, especially the daughter. She gave me great suggestions for vegetarian restaurants in town and which beach was best. The inn is right in the center of town, so you really don't need to move your car unless you want to go further away. I didn't partake, but they have cookies and cocktails for you in the afternoons.

I couldn't control the heat and I get cold easily, but there were plenty of blankets and a plug in heater.

The best place to stay

We loved every single thing about our stay at Southern Wind Inn. We were immediately welcomed by Melissa who couldn't have been warmer or more inviting. The house is beautiful, our room was charming and comfortable, the location is amazing, breakfast was delicious... we were blown away by it all

Location was great. Close to everything but not the noise. Robin and staff were the best and very accommodating. Love the style of the house and décor.

Great house with a great location to see historic St. Augustine and in walking distance of it all.

The house was very nice. The owners were very pleasant and the breakfast was great. Location was perfect as we could walk to my son’s wedding rehearsal and dinner.

The Southern Wind Inn was definitely a good value and would return again.

It was a perfect location to stroll the Historic District and free parking was a bonus. The breakfast was very nice and filling. The Inn Keepers were very professional and personable.

Romantic getaway in a perfect location.

The bed was very comfortable and I liked our little sitting area outside. Our room overlooked the backside of the property so it was very quiet.

The door from the main house outside to our room was very tiny and narrow. The bathroom shower was not conducive for a couple a romantic getaway. Cosmetic work needs to be done as there was peeling paint.

The location couldn’t have been more perfect for a short walk to all of the bars and restaurants on St. George Street. Coffee on the front porch and then a delicious homemade breakfast each morning was a highlight and great way to start our days.

great location, the owner was very nice and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast

The bed was very uncomfortable and very squeaky. The curtains were very old and see through so at 7am the room was super bright.

Can't beat the location, great price, super clean rooms, and the breakfasts are outstanding!

This was my second stay at SWI, because I love EVERYTHING about the place!

If you drive anything bigger than a small SUV, you'll have a helluva time getting out of the VERY tight parking area. LOL Seriously, if you can bring a smaller vehicle, do it.
