Clean and organized room
Lobby is sparse and outside has some rough streets but safe inside

Clean, modern, well organized hotel
I was here for 6 nights for work and had a single sky room. I am 5'10 and the ceiling of the mezzanine where my bed was located was approx 5'7 tall. I couldn't stand in the room where I slept which was super uncomfortable and dangerous at night. The sleeping space is really small and the TV is situated at your feet. In order to write and email or take a call I had to literally sit a few feet from the toilet. The room felt like walking into a toilet and sleeping on the mezzanine of a bathroom.
I understand that SF is a very expensive city but the price they charge for that level of modesty is extremely high.

The employees were friendly and the hotel was close to the local transit.
The parking structure for the hotel was a few blocks away from the Hotel which we were not aware of at the time of booking. The Hotel is located on the outskirts of the Tenderloin which is where the homeless have the strongest presence. The two rooms we saw were studios more than hotel rooms. No devider from the restroom to the bed. Very small and not what was advertised in the photos we saw ahead of time.
3.8
Convenient and clean. The room space was succinct but we didn't more than it offered.
Add top sheets to the bed. The comforter was just too hot by itself.
3.8
I liked the loft style rooms! I enjoyed the self check in and easy entrance and exit to be on the go.
Honestly I wish we could have check in earlier than 3 pm
3.8
Room was clean and staff was very hospitable.
Space is small and missing some amenities that are usually standard (in room microwave/mini fridge) Location is prime for San Francisco, but there is a large homeless gathering surrounding the block.
3.8
The ease to the check in process!
It wasn't the property just a lot of homelessness outside .
3.8
The staffs are nice and the services are also pretty well. We were concerned about the safety before, but they provided some guides, that helps a lot.
It’s a pity that the location was not as good as we thought, but at least we feel comfortable staying here.
3.8
The hotel itself was nice and modern. The room was good for a solo traveller and the staff were always friendly and helpful.
The location was incredibly dodgy and as a solo female traveller I felt so uncomfortable. Even though the bus/tram stop is literally opposite the hotel entrance you couldn't avoid the crowds of homeless people, who were often aggressive. Even if I made sure to come back to the hotel in daylight I felt unsafe. In the end I cut my stay short and moved to a different hotel as it was stopping me enjoying my holiday. The hotel was really accommodating about it and I feel bad because its not something under their control, but it has a massive impact.
3.8
The room was nice
The location was horrible. So many homeless people and drug addicts. It was not a safe place to walk around. I did not feel safe out past dusk. It was also very loud (music on the floor below blaring in the middle of the night and loud noises outside).
3.8
The beds and bathroom
No refrigerator, water price and no full body mirror
3.8
The only thing I liked was the coffee all day and the breakfast in the morning
The location was soooo bad to many homeless people all over the hotel I didn’t feel safe for my family.
3.8
It was lovely, clean and modern.
The breakfast was a tiny burrito and coffee machine that gave my hot sugary milk.
The location was good but the street was full and I mean full of crack heads!
3.8
The breakfast was not good

Location-drug ridden neighborhood. We put ourselves on curfew at 7:30pm to avoid the streets at dark but even during the day you see people shooting up
Room- very clean, BUT windows are shut closed and the toilets are only partially separate from the rest of the room so you can’t be a shy p**per here
Hotel- by all means the hotel it self is good and clean but the location is a problem
The location

The hotel itself is excellent. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Outside the hotel is a hellish landscape of drugs and human excrement. There is a literal army of homeless people based permanently outside of the hotel. It’s smells bad, it feels dangerous and is just generally unpleasant. If you choose to stay here, my advice is that you get a Lyft/Uber to pick you up and drop you off.
3.8
was close to central square. Secure rooms.
Outside was a terrible shame with so many Fentynal addicts who walked around like zombies but didnt bother us. The streets though were dirty and smelled. Not a fault of the hotel but the slow distruction of the neighbourhood.

Room and public area were great.

response to inquiries
I don’t mind - but some travelers will find the streets nearby a bit difficult if not frightening

property had lots of security. staff was sweet, helpful, and attentive!
the location is a little sketchy. there are tons of homeless outside.
3.8
The hotel is sparkling clean, modern, convenient and the stuff is absolutely fabulous
The location is convenient geographically but not the most pleasant place to be in.
3.8
FALSE ADVERTISING! The hotel is located in the worst street in San Francisco! It is full of homeless people doing drugs in the daylight. I couldn't even get out of my car because I felt so unsafe walking down the street.

trendy
there are a lot of junkies gathering there and makes it unsafe

Hotel staff was very friendly, kudos to the lady who helped me.
Location wasn’t the best as it is just beside Tenderloin.
3.8
nice Yotel as usual, very nice staff
unfortunately the location is an absolute no go area. daytime is already bad, but after 7pm you just don’t want to be anymore outside. the place in front is crowded with hundreds of drug addicts and dealers, almost no police present. some of Them are aggressive, none of them have anything under Control. the staff was super nice but unfortunately would no one ever recommend to go there because of the surroundings

I loved the modern feel of this property, the fact you can check yourself in, recycle bins in the bathroom, smart tv so we could stream anything we wanted from our own equipment, very clean and our room was spacious. Close to Westfield shopping mall and lots of other shopping, great location really. Will definitely stay at a Yotel property again.
This is not the properties fault but the area is super dodgy, so many homeless people all around, the smell of pee you on the streets around and didn’t feel super safe walking around in the evening to go to the store if we needed anything. Other than this I cannot complain as the hotel itself was great.
