Beach getaway

Fabulous location, bungalows are rustic but the location is just wow! Angela's restaurant is fabulous, try the lemon cheesecake.

Bathroom was a bit too rustic.

Gorgeous location - basic facilities but didn't need much to enjoy the scenery!

The beachfront location was my favourite part of the stay!

I felt like the staff weren't super helpful - apart from the lady in housekeeping, she was lovely!

Peaceful but could have been more helpful on arrival.

Lovely location on a beautiful beach, with access to sunbeds and umbrellas included. Private and peaceful. We got a good price booking in advance, but the price that came up to extend the stay was excessive. Close to main road for food, shops and transport.

Reception not particularly helpful or friendly on arrival: a brief wave towards the huts rather than showing us which was ours. I had to go back and ask or we would have been wandering around with our bags. No fridge or kettle. Internet hit-and-miss. Daily housekeeping quoted in booking, but did not happen. Rather too many notices telling guests of minor additional charges.

Beach front accommodation with an excellent bar and restaurant.

Large hut, very comfortable and right on the beach. The restaurant and bar were brilliant, serving delicious food.

As good as you hope it will be!

Price vs location, it's one the best so far, I only stayed 2 nights as per travel commitments but would have extended if not. Staff were helpful, "Sea cat" was a cool cat and you might find him chilling on your outdoor chairs, and the Parrot was good fun at breakfast time. 7/11 - 5min walk.

Simple bungalows

The bungalows where on the beach and they provided a safe.

The staff were not very helpful and didn’t treat all guests equally - we are young adults and we saw them being very friendly and accommodating to the older guests. On the booking.com page for the bungalows it mentioned water sports activities nearby and the staff could not recommend any to us.

Stunning bungalow on the beach

This bungolow is absolutely stunning. It is a few meters away from the sea, right on a stunning beach. The bungalow itself is very simple, but is has all you need: a comfy bed, air conditioning, a safe, a desk, a kettle and a private bathroom with shower (very small). We totally loved our stay and the peace. There also is a bar that serves food just a few meters away (Angela's Moonhut).

There were some spiders nets in the bungalow. We did not mind too much but a good clean would be good. Also, the reception and the bar open late in the morning and close early in the evening, which made it difficult for us to speak with a member of staff.

Tired bungalow in a great place.

The location is fabulous! Beautiful beach and sea, nice bar, super relaxed.

Bungalow is quite worn out, no screen doors, no fan and no mosquito net so it’s AC or bugs.

Amazing beach location for a great price

The location. The room was about 30m from the beach, which was extenely beautiful, serene and peaceful with not a lot of people. The Bungalows were basic but extremely comfy, the terrace with the view was lovely. The hotel offered a nice beach bar with not cheap but reasonable prices. We appreciate the shower on the beach, allowing us a quick rinse of salty skin. Finally, the general location is near a 7 eleven, and the main Maenam part of town, that is about 15 mins walking distance. In the event you have a great selection of food available nearby.

There were not enough sunbeds for all of the guests. So you had to have a crazy morning dash to get them before the other guests (with some people reserving them for the whole day and not actually being there). The hotel should monitor this if possible. Even when you get a sunbed, it is extremely uncomfortable, with only two of them having pillow bed (causing even more of a fight between the guests for the "ideal sunbed"). We would advise the hotel to either increase the amount of sunbeds or institute a policy that people can't hog them.
