Amazing!

The Hotel was close to everything! The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Joanna really had some great suggestions. Our shower was good too with Plenty of hot water. The beds slept well.

Down the road maybe some new carpet.

Great value, ideal location for exploring old Galway and the pub below is a bonus, not a hinderenve in anyway.

Location is great, just a short walk to Quay Street and the pub below the hotel is full of character and charm.

Simple on the Green!

The location could not have been better, short walking distance to attractions, restaurants, and the train and bus station. The staff were great and very helpful. If you can’t tolerate a little noise at night, don’t stay here, things usually got quiet before midnight.

Overpriced and very very average in Galway

Very overpriced tired hotel in dire need of a revamp. €145 for one person in a small room with loud noises from the street without breakfast. Decor in need of updating it’s truly bad, would never stay here again.

Pokój przestarzały z grzybem w łazience , meble obdarte , brak recepcji - klucze zostawiałam w pubie. Brak wejść USB żeby podłączyć telefon , stary TV bez Netflix’s. Smutny pokój . Słyszałam w pokoju nieprzyjemne dzwieki , nie wiem czy to z pubu czy w silnika windy . Brudne firany 🤮

Disappointing

The location is perfect, the staff friendly and breakfast was nice.

We had the worst night of sleep. The mattress was terrible, worn out, the springs poked us and we both woke up with backpain.

Come for a pint. Stay for the experience.

If you want to be in the heart of Galway city, this is it. The hotel overlooks Eyre Square and is about a four minute walk from the bus/train stations. The rooms are above the pub, which provides a lovely atmosphere.

It didn’t bother me but you do have to remember the rooms are in an old building above a pub — that has live music every night. Plus all the rooms face a busy, interactive streets (because the pub is on the corner of the block). If you are a light/early sleeper or needs lots of space, this won’t work for you.

For the most part, it was great...just what I had expected.

The staff was excellent. The location was great.

On the last night, the beer truck came in the very early morning. We must have been above the loading door. They were taking kegs and dropping off full ones. It was really really noisy.
