We are a family of 4 with two kids who slept on the pull-out couch. The location could not have been more perfect in close proximity to tube and major sites. The apartment was exactly as described. Main bed was comfortable and lots of storage. Clean with all the necessary linens and a full kitchen. I had to purchase shampoo & salt - but that was only minor. If it was really hot and we had to sleep with the windows open it would have been uncomfortably loud. But with windows closed, the traffic sounds are well muted. Communication with Janet was easy, quick & helpful. Highly recommend.

Great apartment, in an easy to get around the city location, subway and bus at our doorstep and we always had an Uber in minutes when we ordered one. The Apartment is well stocked and was comfortable for my family. I would stay here again!

We really enjoyed our time in London. The Appartement is very nice.

Our small family had a great stay here! The property was as described, easy to find and clean. We loved the location, and the noise from the street is just part of that. Great restaurants, takeaway and groceries just steps away. We did struggle with the doors and would recommend a handle be placed on the apartments main door to help pull closed. We also had a power outage and was unable to get in touch with the property manager, but the leasing office underneath was open and helped us find the two fuse boxes. Overall, lovely stay!

Very clean, perfect for a stay with 2 little kids, bed done when we arrived, towels provided for the whole family. The sofa is perfect for kids and the bed in the room for adults.
There is even an airdryer.
A few pubs Where you can share plates with kids on the evening at walking distance. Some noise outside due to buses and cars but really nothing is a problem. The appartement is located 1st floor in a small redbricks building, typical of london.
Communication with Jan Was perfect and she allowed us to arrive sooner in the flat.
Even some coffee , olive oil, toilet paper and shampoo Were provided.
Highly Recommanded!

This flat was accurately described and was in a great location, a less than 5 min walk from the Borough Tube station and 10 min from London Bridge Tube.
We are urban dwellers, so the slight rumble from the Tube didn't bother us. Nor did the any of the usual urban noises when the windows were open.
The kitchen was well appointed and the living/dining was cozy. The bed was comfy. Plenty of hot water and pressure. We would totally stay there again.

Property is exactly like the pictures and location is as described. Great location for tube and bus, literally round the corner from the flat. Easy to get to from Euston station. Facilities were excellent, we only used the kitchen for breakfast as we were out all day.
Would recommend this flat and would definitely book again.

Lovely flat close to the underground. Buses close by as well. Clean with all amenities that we needed. A bit noisy at night. There was a water leak while we were there and our host was right on it. Easy entry. Fun pub almost across the street.

Very nice clean one bedroom apartment. Three minute walk from the Borough Station. Two minutes to the grocery store. Several restaurants just around the corner. Only down fall is the noisy street below. Lots of traffic and people until about 2 am every night. One suggestion bring your own shampoo and body wash. None is provided.

Property was in a great location, was as described, easy check-in and entry. Felt safe and comfortable during the stay.
Bedroom could easily sleep two. Two adults at the pullout couch was a bit cosy but not bad.
Kitchen was adequately stocked and the supermarket was close by. Wi-Fi, TV, iron box were all useful.
Some road noise when you keep the windows open but that didn’t bother us much.
Highly recommend this for anyone swinging by London.

We were able to explore so much of greater London from the location of this very comfortable apartment. Everything was as described! We would stay here again in the future :)

Janet is a wonderful host, and was so good about answering all of our questions. The property is in an older building and located on a busy street, so the nighttime noise can be a bit much. But the proximity to a Tube station, and the thoughtfulness of the host way outweigh any noise problems.
I hope to come back after the new kitchen is fitted. I expect the apartment will be even more perfect!

Overall, this flat is in a very convenient location and is great for travelers looking for a basic accommodation and who aren't light sleepers.
Things we liked: Super convenient location, very comfortable bed, good shower pressure with lots of hot water.
Things we didn't quite like: The location is fabulous, but the convenience also comes with noise. There is definitely street noise, as the flat is on the corner of a busy street. The street noise though bothered us less than the noise from the tenants above who share an internal access staircase. The walls/ceilings/floors are very thin and the upstairs tenant walking around all night until 3am (literally, every night) was quite disruptive due to the poor sound insulation, as well as the coming and going in the internal staircase. We also had some concern with security, as the other building tenants did not lock the external door to access the internal staircase, so it was open most of the time. This is a busy area, and anyone could walk in and be concealed in the internal stairs. Other minor issues included the towel bar in the bathroom didn't seem to be working and the bath towels provided were quite small.

Sehr zufrieden

We stayed at this property for five nights. As frequent travelers to London, we value access to public transport (tubes & bus) quite highly, as everything is "close by" once you're on the tube system. On that point, this property is outstanding. There is a bus stop directly outside the front window and a tube stop (Borough on the Northern Line) about 1 minute walk away.
That said, these conveniences also mean that the apartment has nearby traffic sound from cars, buses, and pedestrians. Without AC, we imagine that in the summer the noise at night might be an issue. We stayed in September, during an unusual warm spell, and we managed by keeping the windows open until it was just time for bed, then closing up. Once windows are closed, there is little noise from the bedroom.
The neighborhood is working class, diverse: mostly nice people. It does have a few homeless types that set up on the benches along this road, but we never felt unsafe, and it's not an unusual thing to encounter in a large city.
Positives are location for transport, cleanliness, well stocked with all the conveniences, and good access to the owners with any questions that arise. Internet was reliable.
Negatives are the noise issue if weather requires open windows, and the bed could use a new mattress.
All in all, recommended for those who want a very convenient location to see London without the excessive expense of staying in the central city.
