Pleasant enough stay for one night during new year's eve. The price was inflated but so were all the others. For what advertised itself as it was a good stay. The bed is slightly uncomfortable can feel the springs otherwise was clean and suited us for what we wanted. WiFi worked, shower was hot and pressure was good. The guy who welcomed us was polite and helpful.
Some shower gel /shampoo would have been nice or the option for breakfast in the hotel.

Location was fabulous. We got good room’s with a view. It was almost close to everything.
The bed was metal cot which broke and folded on one side everytime we tried to move too much when sleeping. We got incomplete room cleaning service on the second day even though we did not ask or know about it.

Very close walking distance to the beach, young children / older people would be able to manage it.
No on site parking. Street parking available at extra cost. But it limited to all the hotels down this one way street and took us a while to find a place.

Housekeeping was lacking a bit. Satisfactory overall

My Host and his assisting partner were super friendly and helpful in every way with my stay at the Ambassador Hotel. They were fixed on the ethos of suppling comfortable clean accomodation for my stay at my favourite town Brighton.
I can say with out hesitation that I couldnt find a fault if I tried.

Location
The room could have been a lot more cleaner. The drawers were dirty and broken and the water kettle was extremely dirty. There was rubbish within the room which had not been cleaned

The hotel owner/receptionist was extremely welcoming and kind, I felt really comfortable and safe, I knew I was in good hands and found him very charming. The room was good, a great size and I really appreciated the sea view! Happy with the facilities, great location, easy to find and really accommodating.
I would have liked the bathroom to be a little cleaner- the loo needed flushing before we used it and I would have also appreciated a little more of a thorough clean of the shower- but that's my only complaint, otherwise it was a lovely stay.
