Lovely, clean & spacious apartment with fabulous views of beautiful Woolacombe beach. In a fantastic, central location, close to Woolacombe centre and just a stones throw from the beach. Lovely welcome and fantastic communication with the owners. We could not have asked for better & we will be back!

1. The apartment is bigger than it looks. The kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedrooms are all very spacious and clean. Kitchen is very modern and well equipped. Nice big fridge and great oven. The second toilet was very useful in times of emergency!
2. The view is probably one the best that you will find in Woollacombe. We had a good view of the sea, the beach, the adventure golf, The Red Barn. Had fun people watching as well as enjoying the view from the dining area. On good days, you can sit out o. the balcony where there are two chairs and a small table
3. The washing machine and dryer was shared with the other units but located just outside the apartment and we had the use of them whenever we wanted.
4. Wi-Fi was good from the living room. Living room sofa was comfy and we spent quite a lot of time watching the Euro on telly.
5. Parking is on the same level as the apartment. It is not wheelchair friendly as one of the reviewers said, but there aren’t any steps which is a very big plus for us.
Lastly, the small minus. This is an old building with wooden floorboards. You can hear when people staying upstairs walk around their apartment. When we were there, there was a fair bit of nocturnal activities upstairs and I did have trouble getting to sleep. Perhaps it was our fault for being early sleepers.

A little holiday by the beach for my dad. We had a lovely family time. Beautiful view of the beach at the breakfast table. The place is perfect for those who can’t walk too far like my dad. No stairs to the front door one step down to the inside front door. 😎 Room to park our car and my daughters. Lots of response from the owner when I had any questions. Very quiet at night. Lots of places to eat out. The Jube is very nice just a 10 min walk in the town, the Red Barn is nice and convenient opposite.

Location doesn't get much better than this in Woolacoombe. Flat is very well presented and has all the amenities we required. View is stunning, either from the bay window or the balcony, which was a nice bonus. All four seasons during our stay and the accommodation worked well for each! Really good communication with our hosts, which was appreciated. Definitely one to return to.

We had a great stay here and would come back again. Unfortunately we managed to lock ourselves out of the flat and Chris came to our rescue fairly quickly.

This holiday was easy to book with great communication with the owners. It is one of the best locations we have stayed in being very close to the beach and shops. The flat itself has everything you could possibly want for a great stay. We put in a request to have nice weather and they even managed that too!

Woolacombe has basic food shopping at a small grocery and a newsagents. There was a good take-away selection and more restaurants and pubs getting ready to re-open on 17th May. These are all an easy walk from the property.
The "surf" shops sell a variety of clothing and gifts. The organic sea salted fudge at the nearest shop is especially good.
The flat was easily accessible (with one small step) and very clean. The kitchen had the items needed, but note that there is a fridge but no freezer. The bathroom has a large shower with both a rain head and a hand-held head. It also has a small storage chest behind the door, but is without a robe-hook and a shaver point.
What makes this flat outstanding is the unique view from the low and wide bay window. It overlooks most of the bay and golden sands and it is fascinating to watch the nearly 11m rise and fall of the tide which exposes nearly 400m of beach. There are waves and surfers, swimmers and jet skis, dogs and children, and a wonderful glow all around when the sunset reflects off of the sea.
Also in view are the people walking to the beach, buses stopping across the way (headed to Ilfracombe, Morthoe, and Barnstaple), riders from the nearby riding stables, skateboarding, paragliders, helicopter winching someone off Baggy Point, horses and cows silhouetted on the top of the hills, Lundy Island and its lighthouse light, and Hartland Point and (perhaps) its lighthouse light.
The flat has many books and a couple of simple children's games. The road to Morthoe is an easy walk for the first part, with many benches and views. It then becomes steep but isn't very far to the village with a couple of pubs, a church, and a museum. Marwood Gardens is a short drive away and has a nice variety in the sheltered valley, peaks and lakes of the 25 acre grounds. The tourist information office is a short walk up the Esplanade.

Ideally situated, clean, comfortable and with an astonishing view. Hours spent reading on the balcony....meals cooked with double doors onto the balcony open a relaxing experience. Slept like a log. Barbecue on the beach watching the sun set.

The apartment is located with easy access to everything including the beach across the road. Although slightly dated the apartment is good value for money given it’s location. The fifth bed is only really good for a small child. We’d definitely book the apartment again

Impossible access to apartment car park with disability scooter.
We only spent one night at the apartment because although access from the apartment car park was satisfactory access from Sandy Lane to the apartment car park was totally impossible for an invalidity scooter. Therefore we would be unable to enter or exit from the apartment with the scooter Before booking the apartment we texted the owner regarding the disability problems but he gave no indication of the road access. We are looking for a refund for the costs that we incurred in finding alternative accommodation for the remainder of the week to be close to our family.

Fantastic location with long reaching views over the bay.
We had never been to Woolacombe before and will certainly return! The apartment was well positioned and well equipped. We made full use of the balcony! Parking was an advantage as it was on the premises. The accommodation was comfortable. Handy to have books provided but I felt the dvds could have been updated. It was a fantastic base from which to explore, One thing that could not be anticipated however was the noise travelling from the flat above both late at night and before 8am. (footsteps only luckily!) it made me tiptoe around in case we were having the same effect on the flat below! Would certainly return!

Gorgeous weekend in perfectly situated flat
Chris and Liz were delightful hosts, very easy to communicate with, welcoming and attentive both before and during our stay.
The flat itself is perfect for a holiday or weekend stay, well equipped with comfortable beds, a great shower and brilliantly equipped kitchen - the only thing we missed was a freezer for our ice cream!
The situation is stunning with a lovely balcony looking out over the incredible beach which is just minutes away.
We would whole-heartedly recommend this place for a family or group of friends - we hope very much to come back in the future.
Thank you so much for our wonderful New Year's 2016!

Good facilities, stunning views.
The property was exactly as described. The facilities were exactly as required for a very pleasant stay (perfectly set up for surfboard storage too), the property was clean and the customer service from the owner was perfect. Although we knew that the apartment was ideally located right in the heart of Woolacombe, it still did not prepare us for just how stunning the view from the main window was. We would definitely recommend staying here.
