The location was stunning, the garden was amazing, breakfast was delicious, and most importantly the staff were incredible. We stayed there before and after our our trek and they really took care of us, with our many requests. Thank you so much! The hot water bottles were a nice touch.
Nothing! Absolutely amazing.

Loudest hotel I have stayed at and I have traveled to 22 countries. This hotel is incredibly loud, with the rooms on ever level being right next to or above the lobby. My ground floor room was 4 inches from the lobby washroom, 6 feet from the checkin desk and had a 2 inch gap at the bottom of the door....got zero sleep as the front desk played their own music and let guests hang out in the lobby (directly outside my room) past midnight!
Had a much better stay for half the price in Cusco. This hotel has a nice view - go grab a drink here but do NOT stay here.

Beautiful Hotel in San Blas with amazing views of Cusco and a beautiful garden with several seating options and a bar. The whole staff was very kind but Evelyn was of special help - thank you!!
Very responsive via the booking.com chat, much appreciated and very helpful!
Every evening the staff makes sure to turn on the heaters in the rooms and put a warming bottle in each bed - we loved that as it gets quite fresh at night in Cusco and it’s such an outstanding gesture!
We highly recommend this hotel for everyone who is good at walking (note that this hotel is almost on top of the hill and it’s quite a walk and quite some stairs to get there from the center). Taxis make it into the street and will leave you just at the door of the hotel. However, bigger Vans cannot enter and will pick you up / drop you off a few streets down.
The hotel did not provide filtered drinking water, also not during breakfast (only hot water). It’s pretty normal in all Hotels I’ve stayed in Peru, so this surprised me.
Good breakfast buffet but not too many veggie options - if you’re vegan like me then you can have some fruits and cereals and they organized almond milk on request.
The only thing they didn’t have were any gluten free bread options. However, the cereals did not contain any gluten which was great.
Tip for the hotel: it’s very easy to find gluten free crackers (“Sanissimo Salmas”) in Cusco’s supermarkets that would make your gluten free guests very happy 😉

The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed custom omelettes. The coffee was also delicious.

friendly and courteous staff, appearance, cleanness
single room was cold only heating system is electric radiator. Hotel located up to hill which I knew but after excursions with lots of climbing, hotel climb became too much. For the value it is expected more.

view of the city and staff. Amazing customer service. the entire staff went above and beyond to help and accommodate our entire family. Very hospitable and welcoming staff. Always attentive, helpful and friendly…
not very accessible by car. it’s a very narrow street so is difficult for taxis to drop you off in front of hotel.

rooms and the hot water didn’t work. also there are a lot

Clean and spacious room, beautiful view of the city. Used the spa services which was nice after a long hike. Good breakfast. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. They kept our luggage at no charge while we hiked the Salkantay trek. We were stuck in Aguas Caliente due to protests in December 2022 and we emailed to the hotel letting them know. They said it was no problem and they will have the luggage for us when we are able to return safely. Would definitely recommend!
Nothing I can think of.

Really nice and tidy rooms and helpful staff. The breakfast was amazing, probably the best I had at any hotel in Peru. The location was really central but still quiet.
4.5
Stylish, clean and well designed around a circular central stairway. Stunning views eacross the city from the cute little front garden, the windows and balconies of most rooms and from the good sized roof terrace, with chairs and sofas. The staff were happy and keen to help. hot water bottles brought to your room every evening! On-site dining was good and rooms cleaned every day. Reception provides an attractive and comfortable option as somewhere to sit. Tasteful, cool music plays much of the time to add to the relaxed atmosphere.
Our flush was temperamental and needed manual help.

This is a 'gem' in the city. Situated in a more quiet neighborhood, not more than 10 min from the main square. The hotel looks very good, and makes you feel at home. Not a business-like hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, including the owner. There was an garden and a terrace on the 4th floor with a wonderful view of the city.
The showers were not always warm, not going beyond luke-warm. Especially in the morning.
Apoint of attention for some travellers (not relevant for us) might be the location: to get to the hotel from the main plaza, one has to walk up several steps, which is tiring in the beginning. However, once adapted to the height, it would normally not be a real issue.

The hotel was beautiful and the atmosphere was very welcoming and enjoyable. The room was comfortable and the view from the terrace was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts and the personnel were very friendly and approachable and obviously cared about the guests. We were extremely happy with our stay!
It seemed like there was a lack of communication between the receptionists. We had two reservations, one before the Inca Trail trek and then one after, and depending on who was at the desk we got different answers about how to pay, whether we had a taxi for the airport reserved or not, etc. It wasn't a big deal but it could have been better.
Also, when we left, the taxi driver who the hotel called to drop us off at the airport changed the price on us and said it was 25 soles instead of 20 because of parking, even though he didn't have to park in the airport. He raised his voice at us, drove poorly, and made vulgar gestures at other drivers. This is not the hotel's fault, but we were disappointed with the service and would not ever want to ride with him again. (The driver who picked us up at the beginning, however, was great.)

Breakfast was tasty and bountiful. Good coffee
Water took a long time to heat. Hike up hill a challenge

It was lovely & clean.
The staff could not do enough for you.
The breakfast was excellent & natural food.
We were even given a hot water bottle in the bed, when the nights were cold.
The only problem was it was up the hill from the main centre. This was not a big problem, because we just got Taxi’s up to the hotel at the night.
4.5
The breakfast, staff, and location were all excellent and the staff especially helped make our stay wonderful. They helped us with a laundry service and provide hot water bottles for the chilly nights. Tea and coffee are always available.
The walls are a bit thin so you can hear what is going on outside or in the lobby, but that's about it.
