After a tiring day at the NEC we really enjoyed three cosy nights and scrumptious breakfasts in this little gem of a farm house.
We were made to feel very welcome and Tamarind keeps a really clean and pretty house.
The bed was really comfy - and we are fussy! Showers good too! Lemon drizzle cake on the tea tray was a treat too….
We were lucky enough to wake up to beautiful views and sun rises . Pheasants, rabbits and birds in abundance.
It is very close to good pubs, restaurants and shops. Plus Warwick, Stratford and the Cotswolds are on the doorstep. So we had fun exploring these lovely places.
Thank you Tamarind and hubby for sharing your gorgeous home. You will be first on our list when we return to your neck of the woods.

A natural, homely stay

Beautiful surrounding - perfect for walks and close to the castle ruins. Very helpful approachable host.
I was on a business trip and there were no rooms left anywhere, so I decided to stay at the Pleasance B&B. As expected the B&B is rather a place to stay for vacation and not but host business travelers. Therefore, the rooms were not equipped with desks which I totally expected

The property is absolutely beautiful. I would fully recommend it to anyone seeking a calm getaway surrounded by the lovely English countryside. It was also a pleasure to meet Tamarind. We are already looking forward to staying at the farm again soon!
I wouldn’t change a thing!

The most perfect place to stay. The beautiful, countryside location suited us perfectly, with a short walk via footpaths to the Castle and Kenilworth itself.
A lovely room, perfect breakfast and excellent facilities. A relaxing lounge and dining room to enjoy.
The hosts couldn't have been more friendly, and it was a pleasure to chat with them.

Pleasance Farm was a very comfortable and well-organized place to stay overnight. Tamarind was flexible and accommodating of my early arrival time and made it very easy for me to pick up the keys etc. It was exceptionally peaceful overnight with no ambient noise and wonderful bird calls at dawn. Later I saw a fox stroll down the driveway with a large pheasant in its mouth - great to be in such a peaceful rural location.

Breakfast was excellent, eggs from their hens, stewed plums form garden. Location beautiful & peaceful, not another house within sight, only the ruins of Kenilworth castle. Loved the puppies.
Tamarind was a lovely, welcoming host & very helpful with local information.

Breakfast was wonderful, room extremely clean and bed very comfy. Excellent en suite bathroom with bath and shower. Very peaceful and quiet. Ideal for unwinding and getting away from it all. Friendly and very helpful host.
Nothing not to like.

Perfect stay for us. Location excellent and a lovely family as hosts. We will return
Nothing at all. Everything pristine and some lovely homemade cake waiting for us. the bed was way to soft for me but that’s my personal preference and not a reflection on the property.

The continental breakfast was good, although we thought it would be English breakfast incl.
Good location for Kenilworth Castle and several National Trust sites.
The bathroom needed more ventilation. Room a bit small. Steep stairs to room might not suit everyone.

Pleasance Farm (or perhaps if you choose to stay here you'll agree that it could be renamed Pheasants Farm) is a delightfully peaceful place to stay. The Farm is convenient to Kenilworth, but feels a world away from hustle and bustle. Our family of 3 had the Family Suite, which is on the first floor (second floor for Americans). There's a large bedroom with a view of the garden and the fields. The bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed, a small TV, and the other furniture and furninshings that one would expect. There is a fold-out bed at the top of the stairs, just outside the bedroom, beside a second window. There's a small kitchen set-up there, too. The bathroom is modern and practical, though there's limited space to lay out one's kit. Connectivity to the EE network is excellent. Tamarind, at our request, moved a picnic table behind the house in the garden so that we could sit out and enjoy the evening view of the fields. We watched a family of pheasants (and heard many families of pheasants in the evenings), saw a red fox cross from one field to another, giggled as a long-eared hare dodged our car as we drove down the driveway one evening. Pleasance Farm is a wonderful place to relax and unwind and tour Warwick and the Cotswolds.
With the fold-out bed, there's really no place to sit down to a meal in the suite. It would be more convenient in my opinion to mount the TV in the bedroom on the wall / ceiling, and place a table (perhaps with a drop-leaf) and suitable chairs where the large, low table holding the TV is currently located. We were given a wifi password when we arrived, but never did manage to connect to the wifi. Fortunately, EE network worked brilliantly.
