Hotel is in the perfect location in the mountain with spectacular views and an incredible shared space in the back next to the river.
There was nothing I didn't like. I will only book this hotel from now on.

The staff is amazing, so sweet! And the location is superb. But those are the only good things about the lodge.
It is in noooo way worth $200 a night- a really old lodge and while they did a good job of trying to make it cute, we wouldn’t recommend it. The walls are super thin and you can hear absolutely everything the neighbors are doing (there was a group of teens next door arguing playing lazer tag and banging on our door, ect but that’s not the staffs fault of course I’m only mentioning because if there’s any commotion it’s hard to sleep), the bathroom shower is so tiny I could barely fit in it (I’m a petite 5 foot woman) so didn’t even get to shower the second night, the rooms not greatly insulated in the winter, the toilet backed up because of the neighbor and flooded the bathroom because of the old pipes (which they’re were great about sorting and giving me a discount). I would expect all that if I was paying $50 a night but $200? absolutely not- needs to be way more renovated if the owners want to charge that.

Such a cool little motel / lodge .
Relaxed shared balcony with views of river . Went swimming in pool , good fun .
Lodge is on the road ( but all of them are ) on the way to Sequoia national park . Good restaurant next door in adjacent lodge on the river .
Very friendly reception and room was available early .

Before we arrived - The call service was great. very friendly. The dog friendly here - is my first priority and I appreciate it a lot.
the view / balcony on the water is beautiful.
we paid over $200 a night, we expected a little more attention to details like : better / updated shower, maybe even larger , shower head , updated room design. it supposed to be romantic place , nothing to do after 5pm so the room should be more inviting.

(1) beautiful Location with good landscaping (2) friendly staffs (3) reliable Wi-Fi inspite of being a remote place (4) room cleanliness
(1) Bathroom showers ineffective (2) booking issue as they had a different check in date in their system than what we had in booking.com

The room was perfect. The location was beautiful and cozy. We loved the setup and the separate kitchen. The bed was so comfortable and warm and everything was wonderful.
Some parts of the room were a little bit dusty.
8.0
Great view, great peaceful sound, clean rooms, everything was great for the exception of one thing
The rooms were to close to each other and you could hear to everything that the other guests were doing and talking about, so that was a bit uncomfortable
9.0
easy access, cozy outdoors, quiet
shower dripping, shower small for tall person, water hitting directly on face couldn’t move shower head.
