Mooi maar sfeerloos hotel

De locatie van het hotel. En het heerlijke eten.

Er hangt geen sfeer. Alles is netjes, maar persoonlijkheid en ambiance ontbreekt.

This is the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka. I won't go back to Sri Lanka, but I can at least advice other people to come back here for me. The room was beautiful, spacious and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The Wi-Fi was the best we ever had. The bathroom was clean. The view was pretty. The building looked magnificent. I loved the long narrow balcony that continued to the other side of the room. The garden looked classic and luxurious. Also, it wasn't very damp, which I did expect in the mountains. Our parking spot for our tuktuk was next to our hotel and beside the garden, which was perfect. We had our vegan dinner from room service and the taste was very good.

My partner did not like the smell they used for the rooms. I think they were mothballs? I didn't mind though, I kind of liked the smell. Also, if you park at the hotel, there is a steep way to the parking spot. So if your breaks don't work, you will fall off the mountain, as there is no gate to protect you...

Exceptional

The hotel view was magnificent and the room was spacious and clean. It was very cold so they provided heater with no additional cost. Bathroom was clean spacious and had hot water. The view from the balcony oversaw the hills and it was so peaceful and beautiful.

Amazing stay in a beautiful location

Perfect weather, The boutique style wibes, The room is just amazing, the staff is so kind and helpful, The food was excellent and cooked to order, The hotel location is easy to reach with good amount of parking, scenic views of lush green mountains

We hoped dinner had more Sri Lankan options. We were craving some Sri Lankan specific food such as egg roti, which is hard to find where we live. The chef did cook us rice and curry which was a lunch only option.

Undoubtedly, best place to stay at Nuwareliya!

We stayed at the Wind Castle for two nights in Summit room. The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staffs were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. The food also very delicious. I have stayed at dozen of hotels earlier. This was on the top of the list of best stays ever. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Nuwareliya.

Good for one night

Very nice views and very friendly staff with great service. Beds were very good.

Overall, it's a bid of an odd building - a remake of an old castle. Furniture is overused and should be replaced. Or prices should be lowered.

Fantastic one night stay with incredible views!

What incredible views from the hotel! staff were amazing and the rooms very spacious and clean. we had dinner here too and the local Sri Lankan food was outstanding. Overall a fantastic one night stay.

Price is to high.They ripped off me. Actual price room is Sri Lankan Rupees 11000.00 They have charged me Sri Lankan Rupees 25330.00. Double the price. Staff asked our driver to bring guests they offer same room at price SLR 11000. Very disappointed I never go there I am not recommended any one to go there. Other thing this hotel not provide room for Driver. Food is very expensive.

The room is very big and clean, Food is very delicious, View is amazing bathroom is very clean and hot water available. Hotel is totally look like old castle. Sorround is very calm and peaceful. The manager mr. Pradeep is very honest and knowledgeable Man. He always helped us lot. We had a very friendly conversation each other. With his management this hotel will be best hotel in nuwara eliya. He speak so many languages. Finally thank you very much everything mr Pradeep See you again

Best view in the area

Great location with a great view. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was great and absolutely some of the best Sri Lankan food I've had during our month long vacation here.

Superb

The staff were so friendly and helpful, even when they had little English. They provided extra blanket and heater as we struggled to adjust to the cold weather! The views were stunning when the clouds dispersed. The hotel was quiet, the hot water was hot!! Breakfast was amazing, there was so much food, we couldn’t manage it all. The staff really tried to make our stay best it could be.they arranged a tuktuk to take us on a little tour and for high tea.

Excellent Service by the hotel staff and foods are delicious. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

No proper name board at the entrance. it was difficult for us to find the exact location through google map.

The staff is really super helpful and friendly. Meals were prepared especially for me by the chef. Great service The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated.

The location is a bit far from the city, but it is really quiet and the view is nice.
