The property was really nice. It’s very well built and it’s a heritage property. It has total of eight rooms and a very lavish restaurant.
The restaurants are made really nicely and make you feel like a king

The palace is very quiet and cozy it feels like home. Well located, very nice view, and garden. The food is very pleasant, the chef is very talented he made the food experience very good. We booked half-board (breakfast and dinner). The staff were very friendly, literally everyone even the planters guy’s. Everyone is smiling.

Wewtburry Nuwara Eliya offers a warm welcome with attentive staff, exquisite gourmet cuisine, and impeccable facilities. The well-maintained rooms boast spacious and pristine bathrooms with indulgent tubs, ensuring a luxurious stay. The personalized service goes above and beyond, as exemplified when our daughter fell ill; the staff's extra efforts to ensure her comfort were truly commendable. Conveniently situated near tea gardens and the hill club, the location enhances the overall experience. An evening highlight was a private Christmas movie screening in the cozy living space, adding a special touch to our memorable stay at Wewtburry Nuwara Eliya.
A special thanks to Suraj, Nihal, and Gamini for their exceptional service at Wewtburry Nuwara Eliya. Their dedication enhanced our stay, making it truly memorable. We're grateful for their personalized care. Without a doubt, we'll enthusiastically recommend this place to others, thanks to the outstanding hospitality provided by the staff, creating a positive and lasting impression.

Simply awesome and amazing, stay and good. Pool and everything was perfect and superb…this is the best stay of mine. Staff and chefs are professionals. The Love and caring brilliant. Best in the business and Trust me this is the best place to stay in Nuwara Eliya.
One of the best Outdoor heated pool in Nuwara Eliay. I rather doubt if any other place in Nuwara Eliya has something like this!

1. We had a wonderful stay at The Westbury Palace. The place looks amazing with a beautiful garden and luxurious interior. It’s a peaceful place in a very convenient location and walking distance to the city. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The Staff were kind, attentive and very helpful. Overall we had the best experience we have ever had at Nuwara Eliya.
The whole credit should goes the The Westbury Palace team for maintaining nearly a 170 years old building up to this standard. It's Wonderful indeed!
Also, we all very much enjoyed the Out door heated pool which is hardly could find something in this nature in any other place around Nuwara Eiya. It's simply Amazing! Can't forget the their fully equipped gym and the SPA with Sauna which we experienced at and extra cost but very much worth the price!
The staff also was very professional , flexible and helpful at all the times from the check in to the check out.

food js good, but you have to wait long. the hotel
does not have producta available and go shopping before cooking.
staff is stupid. no one met us upon arrival, literary empty hotel and sleeping security. staff goes in dirty uniform. drinks not available (they go shopping again and you wait).
3.0
large facility with a bit of territory
It took me 10 mins to find ANY staff member. I
was literary going around the place asking for attention. Sleeping security and waiters were running downstairs. The hotel had Zero drinks or food available at the moment. They had to send a guy to bring some beer and basic products from the city. Facilities are far away from a palace! Dirty garden chairs, tons of wires in rooms, broken walls. BUT! If you are tolerant enough, food is
brilliant, well done to the chef. Waiters (batlers) are useless.

Very nice location and friendly staff
3.0
Location, garden and outside swimming pool were excellent.
No fan, no ac, no minibar, no liquor licence (but they serve it off books) which also means no drinks list! Menu is set only (but can ask for off menu).
No laundry even though listed in book (but to be fair they did it as a favour).
Mold, ripped wallpaper, and rat poison pellets were unsightly.
Staff attentive but too much so (often asking whether food is OK more than half a dozen times during a meal).
Lots of noise due to big gap under door, so effectively no sound proofing. Nowhere near a 5 star hotel - closer to 2 or 3. Far better hotels in Sri Lanka at a fraction of the price with better facilities.
Couldn't recommend.

My husband and I were here for 2 days, and both those days were the best time of our lives. Westbury's hospitality right from when we entered the property to literally the time we exited, was top notch!
Manoj, Nalindran, Pushparajan, Benedict, Mathushan and so many others whose names I'm forgetting right now, serviced us with the highest regard.
The reason why this place is so special to us is BECAUSE of the staff and their positive approach to every little requirement of ours.
Food - Dont even get me started. We were feeling homesick and wanted to have some Indian food. The chef made dishes that were honestly better than most places we have had at, here in India! Italian, continental, french, pan asian, and of course, sri lankan.. name any cuisine, and they'll make it to perfection.
Cleanliness and Hygiene - The place was extremely spick and span during our stay and the staff was wearing their masks at all times.
Staff - One of the heartiest, warmest, and generous bunch of staff we have ever come across. They truly made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
A small incident occurred 2 days after we had checked out of Westbury. I realized (only after they called us to inform us) that I had left my macbook back at their property. Mind you, at this point, we were almost 300kms away from Westbury. The manager Mr. Manoj was so kind enough to offer to help us. He sent one of his own staff members on a bus journey to us, immediately, and had it sent to us. I mean, what property does this? I have no words left for them..
All in all, this place is a MUST VISIT if you're in Nuwara Eliya or even Sri Lanka for that matter.
All the very best guys, you are doing a fab job! keep it up!!

We highly recommend a stay at the Westbury. It’s quite conveniently located close to town but secluded up on a hillock. The decor is in keeping with the heritage of the property but all amenities are modern with the bathroom in particular extremely well kitted out with a jacuzzi too. There’s a lovely garden and an excellent heated outdoor pool overlooking the view. The views outside overlooking Nuwera eliya town
were simply breathtaking! The small property still comes equipped with a good gym, sauna and spa rooms.
The most outstanding aspect of the Westbury are the staff, led by the very professional Mr. Manoj Alwis. Their care and service is simply the best we have experienced on our global travels. No ask was too much and they went out of their way to make us and our 4 year old feel safe, comfortable and at home.
It would also be remiss of us not to mention the delicious food served up at each meal by the chef, who discussed and curated each meal to our precise liking. The food alone would be worth the stay here!
We truly enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of the staff who also gave us a fabulous send off ceremony! We shall certainly be back with our family and friends!

Would give rating 1000 out of 10 for the place. We had personal butler named Nalendran and he is the best. He made our stay luxurious and comfortable.we had complementary Jacuzzi which was amazing and sauna. Hotel room was fantastic comfortable bed. Had every amenity what we needed. Food was amazing and had fantastic royal dinner night and floating breakfast in pool. The best part was when we leave they treated to us like real king and queen. With flowers and waving my husband's country flag and my country flags. This place is best of the best. will Never forget this experience. Will definitely come back again 💕❤
Special thanks to all the staff who made our stay wonderful. Nalendran,Pushparaj,Sabas ,Gamini,Mani,Wama
