Luxury Vacation Villa on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Located on St. Thomas in the beautiful Virgin Islands.
As you open the entrance doors to Moonlight Villa, you are immediately captivated by the incredible view before you. An unobstructed ocean view, that no photo could ever do justice to. The villa is situated in the gated community of Mahogany Run. A neighborhood with steep winding private roads which lead to exquisite private homes nestled in the mountain among lush tropical gardens. Located on the North side of the Island, away from it all, yet, minutes away from beaches, shopping and dining. Moonlight Villa is secluded and offers a calming, serene atmosphere.
The villa is composed of 2 pavilions. The West Pavilion contains the kitchen, living room/dining area, and one king bed room. Sliding glass doors provide a bright living area filled with natural light. There is a view from every angle in the west pavilion. Also in the west pavilion is a full bath and laundry room.
The heated pool is situated between the two pavilions. Across the pool, in the East Pavilion, is the master suite. The master suite is quiet and private. The master suite has a king bed and sitting area. A great place to go unwind. There is also an office space with a desk. A large master bath with an additional ‘dressing room’ behind the master bedroom. This room can easily accommodate an inflatable mattress if needed.
On the lower level of the East Pavilion, there is a large bedroom, with its own entrance, (accessed by an outside stairway from the deck), that has 2 queen-sized beds, a full bath and sitting area. The lower deck has outdoor seating and a protected shady place to enjoy the magnificent the ocean view.
The main level has a private 12 foot by 20 foot pool and an expansive new deck which extends the entire width of the house. This allows for plenty of room for outdoor dining and BBQ, without disturbing the ‘sun worshippers’ lounging by the pool. Outside the west pavilion is a covered area for dining al fresco. Nighttime on the deck is intoxicating. The moonlight and stars literally light up the deck. Outdoor sconces also illuminate the deck, should you want more light. The pool also has a multicolor light which adds a festive vibe. There are Bluetooth mounted speakers on the outside deck.

The neighborhood is a great place to walk and get some exercise. Along your walk you will marvel at the beauty of tropical shrubbery and the unforgettable jaw dropping ocean views. You will encounter some ‘locals’ on your walk (chickens, roosters, iguanas), don’t fret, they wont hurt you! The area is gated and has security patrols so feel comfortable and safe as you explore even if you feel like you are in an isolated area, you are not alone!

We had a wonderful week stay here. The pool definitely was a plus with everyone. We brought our daughter, her friend, our son and his wife it was so nice to each have their own private space. We had power outages daily but they had a generator so that was great, the owners were great when we had questions especially during TS Ernesto. We rented a big 4 wheel drive truck to hold everything and it was needed to get up the hills. Wr wanted a house to be away from “the city” and we didn’t mind cooking most nights. We did go out mostly for lunch. We enjoyed Root 22 and the North Grind had really good breakfast food and coffee. We would definitely recommend to anyone going to St Thomas to stay here..

Lovely and spacious property! Very clean and the pool is amazing! Very relaxing stay! I was very grateful for the generator which made the island power outages in the evening virtually seamless! The three separate living areas within the home would be great for friends or multiple families.

Moonlight Villa was the perfect vacation house for our group of 6! It was extremely clean, well stocked with everything needed to get our vacation started, the rooms were spacious, and the views from the deck were absolutely amazing. The villa is just as described but even more beautiful than in the pictures. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and the beds were comfortable. We were thankful for the generator, which kicked on seamlessly many times during our stay due to storms. Communication was very prompt when we needed assistance. We felt very safe in the gated community and enjoyed not being in the middle of a busy town. I would definitely come back! Thank you, Mike and Carol for letting us use your beautiful home.

The view was spectacular (and that is an understatement). The place was clean, safe, and welcoming. Overall we had a great stay and amazing experience. Please note that the driveway is very steep and requires a 4 wheel drive car. In general the St Thomas requires a 4 wheel drive or high clearance vehicle! We would definitely consider renting here again! Again did I mention the view was spectacular from Sunrise to Sunset.....OMG!

Our family of three generations, ages 8 through 68, enjoyed a lovely week at Moonlight Villa. The bedrooms were perfect for two children and two adult couples. I personally could have sat on the balcony most of the week admiring the view. The kids had a blast in the pool. This is probably the cleanest property my husband and I have rented in 7 years of using VRBO. We enjoyed listening to our own music by the pool in the afternoons and evenings. The manager met us at the gate and escorted us to the villa. Then she made sure we knew how everything worked. The villa is decorated very tastefully.

We had a very smooth and simple experience renting this home. We were greeted by a kind woman who gave us a tour and showed us the amenities. She was available during our entire stay for any questions that we as this was our first time visiting USVI. We really loved this and found this comforting.
The surrounding views of the ocean are absolutely stunning. The picturesque sunsets each night were incredibly breathtaking. This experience was a true gift.
The master bedroom is separate and across the pool from the living room and an additional bedroom with one bed in it. The pool was very clean and wonderful. Our two girls really enjoyed the pool. Although we did not utilize the lower level, there was plenty more room for more people if needed. There are beach chairs, sand toys, and some snorkeling gear that we’re ready to use and take to the beach located in a closet.
The owners are very kind and provide you with a personalized guide. They provide almost everything you need to experience a wonderful time on St. Thomas and the surrounding islands.

Moonlight VIlla provided a perfect home base for a wonderful week in St. Thomas. The home did really have everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, pool, beach, and relaxing. The other reviews and description are very accurate in all aspects, and it is truly an unbelievable location. The area feels very safe, and once you get used to driving some hills it’s a fun spot to be located. Anything on the island is basically 10-20 mins away but every ride had our family staring out the windows at the natural beauty of St. Thomas.
We easily settled into a daily routine of: breakfast with a view, drive to a new beach, relax in the pool, and find a beautiful restaurant for dinner. Grilling and prepping food at the villa is very easy as well. Our kids (6 and 10yo) absolutely loved the pool (they are great swimmers but be aware it's 5ft deep), and everything the hosts had around the house. They loved looking through all the photo books, watching Netflix on the TVs after a long day of sun, or reading a book on the deck.
This villa was an integral part of what our family has deemed “the best vacation ever”. Thank you to the hosts and we appreciate you sharing your home.

We had a wonderful time in. St. Thomas and this property was everything we wanted it to be. The views from the deck are simply breathtaking and made for an amazing backdrop for the week. We saw multiple rainbows over the ocean! The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful, providing tips before the trip and connections during. We used their recommended driver Edwin (Zoom Zoom) and he was great, picking us up in an open air vehicle and taking us all around the island.
Property was clean and well stocked. We used the kitchen and the BBQ quite a bit and it worked perfectly. The rooms are very private from one another if that matters and very large.
Only a couple things to call out, the driveway is indeed very steep, and we had to walk up and down it to meet the tour vehicle. Please know that anyone with mobility issues might not be able to do so. Also - the neighborhood is very hilly (St. Thomas is a mountainous island all around) and not really walkable unless you’re in very good shape. This made the location feel a bit remote and isolated, but if that is what you’re after to “get away from it all” you will LOVE it. Just want people to know - not a criticism, this is a special place.
All around we completely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the property and the hosts!

We couldn’t decide on an hotel or VRBO and so happy that we picked Moonlight Villas for our family vacation. The property is amazing and the pictures are an understatement of its beauty. The property manager, Tarcia, met us on arrival and was very attentive to all of our needs. The welcome guide that the owners provide was spot on from the beaches, stores, and restaurants. The home was completely stocked with everything needed for our beach excursions, afternoon swimming, and binoculars for the skyline filled with stars. I highly recommend a jeep or vehicle that can handle the terrain. We will definitely come back and very pleased with our stay at Moonlight Villas.

The house and views are more beautiful than pictured. The host is extremely thoughtful and provided more than the basics, you have everything you need to cook and days at the beach. We were greeted at the airport and escorted to the home which was very helpful. We will be staying again here, i hope soon!

The property was as pictured. It is on the North part of the Island and is about a 15-20 min drive to either town. Property was clean and had basic supplies. Owners were quick to respond with any issues/questions. The only complaint would be that the dehumidifier in the lower king bedroom is extremely loud.

Don't hesitate for a moment to book! This house was absolutely amazing. The house wraps around a truly gorgeous pool. Everything was impeccably clean. The views are spectacular. The layout of the house makes it perfect for up to 3 couples to enjoy in complete privacy. Anything you might need is there, every little detail is thought of. Ms. Tarcia met us at the airport and was extremely helpful. We followed her to the house and she showed us around, told us the best places to go and answered every question we had. The owner, Carol, was also very kind. Be sure to rent a Jeep as the roads to get there are quite steep. I hope we are able to go back some day!

Wonderful stay in this home, it was extremely clean and equipped with all the items one would need. Tarcia provided a tour for of the home to acquaint us with everything. The house is in a beautiful location with exceptional views. The pool is lovely and has enough depth to be enjoyable on those hot Island days. Highly recommend a car to get around, the hills are steep and a SUV would be ideal.

We stayed there for our daughter's 18th birthday and had a blast! The Villa is spacious and comfortable with the most spectacular views. We spent most of our evenings on the patio or swimming in the pool. We cannot wait to visit again!

Everything was as advertised. Just make sure to meet your greeter at the air port because it’s hard to find (which is what makes the property cool). The directions aren’t very clear so it’s better to follow the greeter to the property. Very nice home.

Always a great time at Moonlight Villa!
This is the second time we have stayed at Moonlight Villa. It is a spacious and comfortable home with amazing views and a heated pool. The 3 bedrooms are all in separate areas which makes the stay very private for everyone. Mike and Carol are always very responsive and there are lots of special touches in the home. It is in the gated community at Mahogany Run so it's very safe and also very close to Magens Bay where we spent most of our time. Thanks again!!

Oh the View
We arrived in the rain during carnival. Getting to the villa was an adventure with blocked streets and indiscriminate parking blocking roads. Once we made our way to Mahogany Run, we were all exhausted from travel, wet, and grumpy. Every bit of that washed away the moment we stepped on the property and were greeted by Ms. Tarcia. She was energetic, knowledgable, and very thorough. We stepped onto the balcony and gazed over the ocean. The view that greeted us each morning and when we returned from our travels on the Island is truly breathtaking. It was most memorable to me. I sat for many hours and enjoyed the peace it provided. Our hosts are wonderful, responsive and attentive to our comfort as well as providing local details that we found invaluable. The photos do not entirely convey how wonderful this property is. If you are on the fence, I suggest you book it. The bedrooms are situated for privacy. The Kitchen will provide you all you need for preparing meals during your visit. The pool is perfectly situated and at night under the stars, it is a luxury after a days journey on the island. Enjoy, we certainly did.

Beautiful views, lovely home.
Moonlight Villa was a welcoming experience in St. Thomas. The views of the water were just what the doctor ordered for our group to relax and unwind. A jeep is recommended for your stay as the roads are steep. We loved that each couple has their own space and the patio/pool area was such the perfect hang out.

A truly great location for adults
Our family of six (ages 59 to 27) came to St. Thomas together to enjoy a week together in a sunny paradise, and that's what we got! The villa is perfect for 3 couples....one per bedroom / level. The pool deck was a perfect place to relax after a long day in the water and on the beaches. The kitchen was very nicely appointed. The beds were very comfortable and the surrounding items (furniture, pool toys, etc) were just what was needed. A nearby convenience market and ice cream stand stood ready for fast access. Magens Bay beach was utterly perfect and only about 10 minutes away by car. We had a fantastic time. Highly recommended.
The owners and their designated greeter, contact and problem-solver were extremely responsive to our requests and questions, thank you very much!
Note: I would strongly recommend a small jeep as a rental for this place. The high clearance, short frame and tight turning radius would make it much easier to navigate the turns and hills leading into and out of the local road and driveway.

Great views and awesome trip
Great villa and simply amazing views from huge deck with very comfortable accommodations for a family getaway. Villa has everything you need, including beach items like chairs, cooler and towels. Inside the villa was also stocked well, like we were at home. Note that the location of the villa is quite steep on side of a hill (which means great views!). However, we wished we had rented a keep instead of a car to aid in navigating the steep roads. We spent most of our trip at different beaches each day (Magen’s, Sapphire, Secret Harbor), chartered a boat for a day, and went out to great restaurants each night (favorite was Oceana). Highly recommend this villa!

Private, clean & beautiful!
The view of the ocean & tropical breezes were amazing and the property made our stay incredible! The house is well equipped with everything you need down to the beach chairs & sunscreen. Ms. Tarcia was great! She shopped for us, gave us wonderful dining ideas and responded readily when needed.

Paradise found
The property was exactly as described. Carol and Mike were great to work with. The layout worked perfectly for our group of 6 adults, (2 couples plus my sister-in-law and my friends sister).
Cooking at the villa was a pleasure due to the quality and quantity of cooking utensils.
The deck and patio were perfect and could accommodate everyone’s favorite activity.
We all enjoyed morning coffee on the deck watching the sunrise. During the day you can lounge in the sun, take a dip in the pool or sit in the shade and read a book. Evenings we would watch the moon rise while enjoying a cocktail. Best advice for anyone staying at moonlight villa would be to rent a SUV to navigate the roads in St Thomas and also the driveway.

Your own little piece of paradise
What an amazing place to vacation! It was our first trip to the Virgin Islands and we could not have picked a better place to stay. Simply put, it is paradise. My husband and teenage daughter adored this gorgeous home. It was a perfect place to stay, especially during COVID, because hanging out by the pool and taking in the magnificent views is all you really need.
First of all, THE VIEW! A 180 degree view of the BVIs and cerulean waters as far as the eye can see. We spent hours just immersed in the unreal views of the Caribbean.
Second, the property itself. The owners have put so much love & detail into every corner of this magical place and you can feel it the minute you enter.
We stayed in the top section of the villa. You can also rent the bottom apartment, but there was no need, since there were only three of us. The main part of the house has an open concept family room/kitchen/dining area with vaulted ceilings and wrap-around windows that make you feel like you are literally on top of the Caribbean. There is also a large bedroom and bathroom on this side of the property. Walk across the outdoor patio past the heated pool to the master suite, where you will find similarly appointed beachy decor and lofty ceilings, a HUGE walk-in closet and master bath. The place is very private and you will feel like you are on your own tropical island. Plus, it has everything you could ever need. Forgot your sunscreen? They have it. Need a beach bag & chairs to head to one of the beautiful beaches (famed Magen’s bay is a 5 minute drive)? They’ve got you covered. Spend too much time outdoors lounging by the pool and don’t realize that you’ve gotten a sunburn because the heavenly trade winds have kept you cool? No problem! They have aloe gel at the ready. Fully stocked kitchen so you can cook in for the evening, luxurious beds, binoculars to watch the ships coming and going? They’ve got it all.
Moonlight Villa is in a gated community where security checks you in and out, so you feel safe and protected at all times.
Plus, the owners and house manager were always just a text or phone call away if anything goes wrong. When our Internet was sketchy at the start of our visit, they worked right away to fix it.
Definitely book this place and lounge in the hammock with the pool on one side, gorgeous views of the Caribbean on the other, enjoy a drink and just RELAX. You won’t be disappointed.

Where to begin?! Stepping through the front door simply takes your breath away. Truly Heaven on Earth. Unobstructed stunning views on the spacious deck. Fabulous tropical breezes transport you. Cozy lounge chairs to relax in. The pictures just don't do it justice!
Greeted by a wonderful property manager who gave a very informative tour of the property. A full bottle of rum and beautiful welcome note awaited us in the kitchen from the villa owners -- perfect after a very long day of travel. Stayed as a family of four so our 17 year old and 21 year old had their own spacious comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Evening breezes with sounds of waves crashing far below. Waking to magnificent sunsets while still laying in bed. Ahhhh,......
The villa is stocked with all of the basics and then some -- more than any other VRBO we've ever stayed at. Owners are very kind and responsive to any inquiries - excellent communication.
A few other notes: A car is definitely needed to get around - book far in advance if traveling around holidays. Magens Bay was our favorite beach - close and not too crowded even during Christmas/New Years week. Perfection. Food and drinks available. Secret Harbor was second favorite - great snorkeling especially on southeast side. Food and drinks available there as well. Bring plenty of cash, as many beaches charge for access. Every day we swam with the sea turtles (found them out by bouys at every beach we went to) -- having our own snorkel gear was helpful to have at the beaches every day. Great day trip over on ferry to St. John. Beauty abounds everywhere in the USVI.

A Little Slice Of Heaven
Moonlight Villa is the perfect vacation spot for a family or a group of friends to relax and enjoy St. Thomas. The view is spectacular, the amenities perfect and our greeter friendly and knowledgeable. You will need a car but you can get to most of the island beaches and restaurants easily. Our family had a wonderful vacation and would highly recommend Moonlight Villa for yours.

Wonderful Stay
What a lovely house on a lovely hill with a lovely view. This is an amazing property that gave our family a fabulous time to be with each other.
Finding it the first time is not easy, but the owner, Carol, takes care of that by having a greeter meet you at the airport and leads you there.
From there you figure it out and have fun doing so. It's 20 min from most places you visit, but 5 min from a great bar/restaurant (route 42 bar) and 5 min from an exquisite restaurant (Old Stone Farm House).
But you will want to spend time on the huge porch or in the pool overlooking blue waters and Hans Lollik Island and then watching the Moon rise over Tortola. Sometimes it was not worth leaving. Fully equipped house so we cooked fresh fish, drank rum and enjoyed the days.
Carol could not have been more responsive to all questions. Highly recommend if you want to to escape crowded "resorts" and chill.

Best Villa in St. Thomas!
I booked the moonlight villa from dec 1-14 this winter and I cannot say enough good things about this property. I took my mother, in laws and two small kids and they enjoyed the pool and magens bay everyday. My mom recently had a heart procedure and my son has a kidney problem so this was the perfect place to relax and get some sun. The ocean and island views are fantastic. Mike and Carol are clearly very kind people and excellent property managers. They offered me a pack and play for our 1 year old to sleep in and this worked really well. The pool is very warm and the beaches are gorgeous. One thing to note is that the water here is nice and warm in december (we found it too cold in hawaii). The beaches had nice shadey spots for kids. Our favourite beaches were magens bay and lindquist beach. I would avoid coki beach and lindberg bay. I would recommend renting a 4x4 like a jeep as we rented a mini van and this wasn’t a great idea for steep roads. Additionally, I’d suggest going to cost u less or Moes fresh market. Mike has a great instruction guide which I wish I read prior to coming.
Essentially this is a gorgeous property with a beautiful pool and great management. It is the perfect base for relaxing at magens bay and has outstanding views. I am really happy with our experience and hope to come back someday.
