It is perfect for couples or a family of 8 who want all the amenities of an upscale condo and the intimacy of your own peaceful island retreat. At Grande Bay Resort, you get the best of both worlds. You're within a brief walk of all that Cruz Bay has to offer - shopping, casual & fine dining, nightlife, water sports, and yet the Resort's beachside location and amenities provide a feeling of intimacy and privacy.
Sueno del Mar’s prime corner location offers unobstructed views of the Cruz Bay ferry dock all the way over to Pillsbury Sound and the evening lights of St. Thomas. Our condo is newly remodeled and decorated in sleek coastal modern furnishings.
Grande Bay Resort has a beautiful pool situated on a sun deck overlooking the beach. This area also contains a generously sized spa/hot tub. Sueno del Mar’s balcony is located directly over the pool which means added convenience for parents with older children who want to keep an eye on pool activities.
A spacious waterfront gym features 3 treadmills, an exercise bike, an elliptical, free weights, and A PILATES reformer! The view of the beach and harbor while exercising is an added bonus.

You'll be welcomed at the ferry dock by our experienced guide, who will assist you with luggage and jeep rental, and then escort you to the condo for a brief orientation. During your stay she is available to ensure that your vacation is relaxing and carefree. If you should choose to rent a jeep, the condo comes with a reserved covered parking spot with elevator access to your condo.

The oversized outdoor living area is a wrap around balcony with access from the living room and also private access from the master bed room. There is a balcony height table with six chairs for watching the sunset over the harbor and beyond to surrounding islands. The master bedroom side of the balcony has two lounge chairs with ottoman’s and table – perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails while listening to the waves roll on the shore.
You will feel right at home in the living room with all of its conveniences, including a 45” flat screen TV, Cable TV and DVD player. The kitchen has top of the line stainless steel appliances and granite countertops with all of the conveniences of home, such as a coffee maker, blender, toaster, etc along with all the cook ware and utensils you will need. An electric grill is available on the patio for grilling while enjoying the amazing ocean view.
Sueno Del Mar at Grande Bay is fully air conditioned with three bedrooms and two full baths. Accommodations include two King beds, two twins convertible to a King, and a Queen foldout couch for a maximum occupancy of 8 adults. All bedrooms have their own 39 inch TV’s and ceiling fans. There is even a Play station PS4 and to 2 controllers complete with several popular games.
During the day, get ready to immerse yourself in the breath taking beauty of St. John. Relax at any of the many beaches, go snorkeling or diving, charter a boat to visit any of the reefs, islands, or beaches around the US and British Virgin Islands or go hiking in the unspoiled National Park that covers 2/3 of the island. At nighttime, take an easy walk to any of the many bars and restaurants, shop for island jewelry, or visit the small casino. Then, just take a short evening stroll back to Sueno del Mar at Grande Bay to enjoy the beautiful sunset view.

Michelle at the property was so beyond amazing. Accommodating us in every way possible. We so appreciate all that she did for us. This is our 6th time staying at Grande Bay and we would never stay anywhere else on St. John. Location location location.

We rented this condo for 2 couples and 2 teens and it was perfect! The layout was great for us - 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We loved having a kitchen that we could make breakfast in every morning. And we especially loved sitting out on the porch every morning drinking our coffee and then again every evening having a cocktail before we headed to dinner. There are TV's in every room, however we never turned them on. But it was nice knowing we had the option. The condo was very comfortable for the 6 of us!

This was the perfect place to stay on St John. So close to everything. Very clean. Owner was very helpful with all the questions we had. Generator is a bonus!! The ladies downstairs are the best in ok! We hope to be back next year.

Wonderful stay! Absolutely perfect location in Cruz Bay. We chose this location bc of the easy walk to bars and restaurants and it did not disappoint. Sunsets are perfect from the balcony as well. Coolers, beach chairs, and beach towels are all provided for your beach days as well. If you rent a Jeep, your spot is right by the elevator! The only drawback we had was the ice machine didn’t work. We provisioned and had several bags of ice delivered so it wasn’t a big deal. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved our week stay with our children (ages 5, 7 and 9) and parents at Sueno Del Mar! You cannot beat the location as it’s walking distance to all the best restaurants, bars and shops and it has a lovely view of the bay. The parking spot was a plus too. Our kids also loved the well kept pool and hot tub. We hope to visit again in the next few years. Cheers!

We booked this rental for a couple of friends traveling together for a wedding weekend in St. John. The location was perfect. We could easily walk to everything, plus one parking spot was included. Although we didn’t use the kitchen, it’s a nice bonus. We did use the washer and dryer, which helps to have clean laundry going home. The view from the wraparound balcony was also amazing. Our only critique was that the floors were dusty and sandy, but I guess that’s part of the island vibe. We would definitely recommend again!

Overall, this is a great place to spend your vacation. We stayed for a week and our group had 6 adults. We opted to not rent a car and found we did not need to. The location of this condo cannot be beat, with all the shops, restaurants, and bars within a short walk. We did have to take a taxi to get to the different beaches but those were super easy to get and were very convenient. The condo had everything you would need for your stay, including beach chairs. The chairs had backpack straps, which made it no problem to take with us on the taxis. Saved us a lot of money on rentals. The place was very clean, and the view was great. We ate breakfast out on the balcony every morning. The only negative was a couple of the mattresses were older and not the most comfortable – minor complaint.

Perfect villa! 3 bedrooms, full kitchen with great appliances. We enjoyed using the provided beach towels, chairs and cooler. This made our beach days easy and we didn’t need to worry about renting. This unit overlooks the pool and Cruz Bay. The villa hosts were very helpful facilitating provisions being stocked before arrival. They even met us at the ferry dock and gave us a ride to the villa. Easy communication, easy check-in and well stocked unit. We loved our stay here.

The condo is spacious and pristine. The view was amazing and you can’t beat the location. We walked to dinner every night and some great restaurants. Our daughter had a amazing time spending a lot of time in the pool. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves to vacation on St John.

This property has a great patio with an amazing view. Easy check in and out. It was clean and all the property staff are so pleasant. Easy to walk to the ferry, food, and fun finds while shopping. We had others in our group that stayed in a penthouse, and they were jealous of our flat. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.

We were six friends going on a catamaran adventure in the BVI and decided to check out St John for 3 nights before we started. This waterfront condo was exactly what we needed and exactly what was advertised. Desmond met us at the dock of the ferry after a long day of travel and led us to the condo. The view was fabulous, the neighborhood was a great blend of Caribbean fun, style and local flavor. The kitchen was perfect, the layout was just what we needed and none of the 3 couples felt left out as all of the bedrooms were very nice. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed looking down at it in the evening. The views of the harbor are just what is shown on the VRBO site. Short walks to restaurants, bars, trails and grocery stores made this condo a perfect place to stay.

Overall the property was good. Lots of space, great location, and lovely view. Cleanliness wasn't the best - there was a ton of dust. We went out and bought paper towels the first day (along with our groceries) only to discover paper towels were brought to the apartment when we weren't there. Would have been nice to know ahead that 1. Someone was going to enter apartment 2. That the paper towels were going to be supplied, saving us the expense. We had requested a late checkout but it didn't seem that anyone was aware of that and we were locked out of the apartment at 10:30 on our final morning. Overall good stay for the price.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property! Loved being able to make the short walk into Cruz Bay for shopping/dining. Condo was great for our two families to share (4 adults, 4 children). Views from the balcony were wonderful, and we all had a great time enjoying the pool area as well. We will be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Our group was 5 adults so the 3 bedrooms were ideal. The balcony is enormous and provides a magnificent view of Cruz Bay. The location cannot be beat as we really enjoyed the short walk along the beach to the restaurants and shops. The unit had everything you could need for a stay. The washer & dryer were a blessing. The parking spot is perfect and literally right next to the ice machine which we used on our daily beach trips with the included soft sided cooler. The unit has a storage cage right at the parking spot with plenty of beach chairs, floats and umbrellas etc.. We even added a couple floats to the collection. If you are staying in Cruz Bay and need 3 bedrooms then I cannot think of a better place to stay and we will definitely return to this unit on our next visit. Thank you Diane for letting us use your condo and also to Crandall for meeting us at the ferry dock. Great Great trip!!

This condo has everything offered and more. The location is close to town, we walked there many times. Kitchen ware was top notch. And it comes with all the toys to make your day fun at the beach. Includes beach chairs, umbrella's, soft sided cooler and floats and noodles. Would definatly stay there again.

Desmond was more than helpful during the check in process, he even showed us a couple places close by we enjoyed visiting. The villa was next to absolutely everything we could have wanted, less than one mile hike from the most stunning beach and snorkeling I have ever seen. Bars, resteraunts, shops all within a five minute walk. The stunning villa with amazing views was even shocked with antique board games and a gaming system for when we got rained in. We were more than thrilled with our stay.
