Heating did not work and was not fixed, despite someone saying that they would come

Everything is just perfect. The small details take it to the next level: board games, sound system, kitchen. It feels like home away from home.
The place is so welcoming and plesent its was hard to go out and explore the rest of skye.

The hosts were communicative the entire time and the directions were so clear. The property really takes your breath away. It's so well designed and maintained that we hardly wanted to leave. It was clean as a whistle and had any amenity you could look for. We saw an otter come up to the bird feeders which was so exciting and we saw a seal in the harbour. The birds are so cute around the place but don't bother you when you sit outside to eat. The grounds are fantastic and you feel safe and private.
The heat could be adjusted slightly and that was our fault, we didn't notice until the last morning but it is very hot at night. The hot water does run out quickly so a group needs to time their showers (very doable!) An extra towel or two would have been useful since we went swimming and hiking on different days and needed showers a lot.

The actual property is as pretty as the pictures and aptly named The View - view is spectacular. Everything you will need for a comfortable stay with your family is there. The kitchen equipment is largely complete, with spices, soy sauce, and cooking oil provided. There’s a complimentary bottle of wine and fruits. The Wi-Fi is fast and stable.
I received the check-in instructions a day after we checked in. On our first day, we waited over an hour before we were able to get in. Although the Wi-Fi is excellent, there is no phone signal - I could not do transactions that require SMS verification because there is no phone signal.

The View is an absolutely gorgeous house- the view certainly being one of the most stunning vistas that Skye, and indeed Scotland, has to offer. The house is spacious yet cosy and our group loved that there was a large communal lounge as well as a separate TV lounge. We also loved that both bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms and that both couples had plenty of their own space as well. The house came with essentials like cooking oil and spices, which was handy, and plenty of wood for the fire. The tablet with the video clips on how to use the different appliances (as well as local recommendations) was really helpful as that can be quite confusing when on holiday. We had a brilliant stay and would love to come back!
The one slight thing I'd say was that we sent a non-urgent query through via booking.com and it was never answered.

Perfect location. Really good facilities. Really quiet house a perfect base for touring Skye. Plenty of birds and wildlife in garden. We can confirm why it is called The View.
Because of lockdown we were first visitors to the property several appliances did not work but were very promptly attended to. After long travel the cleaner was still in the property.

Everything was perfect. The loveliest and most comfortable place we’ve ever stayed, enhanced only by glorious autumnal sunshine.
There is nothing to dislike about this property!

The View lives up to its name...the house is designed to make every view breathtaking. Even the upstairs bedroom, has an internal window where you can sneak a peek through to the large front window. You can come here and just watch the weather, but it would be a waste not to go out and explore it. The kitchen is really well equipped with good quality gear. And if your stuff gets wet and muddy there’s a fab utility room.
Absolutely nothing!
