Comfortable and cozy
Great location to Groveland and Yosemite National Park. The cabin had great views of the golf course and frequent sightings of birds and deer. This a great place for peace and tranquility with all of the basic comforts of a chalet.

A loved one's memorial
We attended a family member's memorial in Groveland and spent two nights in this cozy cabin. It is a charming cabin and we enjoyed watching the wildlife right along the golf course. My only regret is that I wasn't staying there longer. Judy, the owner, was very receptive to the inquiries that I made. I would go back again.

A perfect little house as our base camp for Yosemite trip and golf at PML. Highly recommend 👍

Beautiful Property
The cabin was very clean, cozy and comfortable. The furnishings are all very top notch and comfortable. Our favorite spot was sitting on the deck to watch the wildlife. Unfortunately I only had time to use the pool once but it was very nice. My only complaint was the air conditioning was not on when we arrived and it was 90 degrees in the cabin.

Great little cabin in the woods!
We had a wonderful time here. The place is well equipped, the beds were comfy, and the AC kept it nice and cool inside while temps outside approached 100 everyday of our stay. The deck overlooking the golf course is a highlight of this property. Enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning, while the deer graze nearby and the squirrels play in the trees was a perfect way to start the day!

Cute little beige house
Lovely view of golf course pond from the deck - saw many deer and birds - great place to relax on the comfy outdoor sofa and watch the stars after hiking the whole day at Yosemite. Easy 40 min drive to Yosemite and lots of food options nearby. Only inconvenience was lack of dishwasher.

It has everything you need. Close to the pool and short drive to the lake. Deer outside every morning. Definitely a relaxing long weekend.

It was my second stay at this lovely cabin and our family enjoyed the place. Patio furniture was brand new and we loved spending evenings on the deck watching deer and geese. Would definitely come back again.

This little cabin was the perfect retreat for our visit to Yosemite. It had all the amenities we needed for our visit, and more. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped, and overall it felt very clean, especially important during this COVID time. It took about an hour to get all the way into Yosemite, but there isn't really anywhere else to stay in a cabin that's much closer. Otherwise you'd be in a hotel/lodge which I didn't feel as comfortable with right now. The AC worked and by blasting it and using the ceiling fans we were able to keep the house cool enough during the hottest times. And the weather cooled enough at night that it was fine for sleeping, even in the upstairs loft. The owner is communicative and fair, and gave good directions to get to the house - definitely follow those and not your GPS, as you can only get into the community through one gate.

Judy Thought of Everything!!!
We had a great weekend stay at this house. The house is perfectly situated with an awesome deck overlooking the golf course at the Pine Mountain Lake resort community. Every area of the house was noticeably clean, well maintained, and well equipped. It felt very much like a nice "home away from home". We loved dining outside every morning and evening on the large deck with multiple table and seating options, a Weber grill (complete with mesquite briquettes), and a picturesque view. Not to mention the added bonus of regular visits from groups of deer every morning and evening. The bedrooms and beds were very well decorated, comfortable and private. The kitchen was easy to work in, with a gas range, and every appliance, pot & pan, and utensil that we needed. The living room was also very comfortable and open with cathedral ceilings and windows that brought in wonderful natural light. But to be honest, we spent 90% of our waking hours outside on the wonderful deck. :-) As I said, we had a great weekend stay ... and it is very obvious the owner, Judy, really cares that her guest do. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice, clean cabin!
The cabin is a good size for 2-4 guests and well equipped with kitchen equipment, towels and linens. Safe and quiet community. Close to Groveland stores and restaurants. Recommended.

Nice and clean cabin
Very nice and clean cabin. Well equipped . The bedroom upstairs gets very hot, I would recommend another fan or a portable AC. With that said, we were able to sleep fine, after opening the window and going to be late. The location is great, only 30 min from Yosemite park gate. The rainbow falls is only 20 min way, I highly recommend the trip. The property manager was very helpful and fast replied to our messages.

Perfect Cabin for a Long Weekend
My husband and I spent a long weekend in Judy’s cabin for the Fourth of July. The cabin had everything we needed for a great weekend, and is in a great spot in PML - super close to Dunn Ct., the golf course, pool, etc. The deck was perfect for having coffee in the mornings, and a glass of wine in the evenings. The kitchen is well equipped, and we even used the BBQ and ate in one night. There is a wall unit A/C which easily cooled the entire cabin in the late afternoons. The huge ceiling fans were great, too. This cabin is at the top of our list for future trips to Groveland!

Nice Property Close to Yosemite
We enjoyed our stay at the this property. The location was very convenient for our daily trips to Yosemite. The home was well stocked with kitchen amenities and we were glad to find a small cooler for packing a lunch for a day in the park. Overall the home was very comfortable and quiet.
On the downside, the upstairs was very hot, even with the air conditioner and fans running. It is also somewhat confusing trying to exit the community from the home, so detailed directions would be helpful. We finally got it right on the third day!

The cabin had everything we needed. The cabin is on the golf course. We spent a lot of time on the deck watching golf and enjoying the view.

Nice Cabin with great amenities
Lovely stay. Easy access to the swimming pool and lake slightly made up for the fact that Yosemite national Park was closed because of fires. Note there is a $30 fee at the gate of the resort so you can access the property and enjoy the site’s amenities. House is fairly well equipped just such a shame there is no washing machine, not so convenient for a family. We were very disappointed not to hear from the owner about the Yosemite fire prior to our arrival. Even though we contacted her we had no information on air quality or on how to access Groveland. It could have been a more reassuring start to our stay to get some answers regarding the fire and the road closures (5h extra driving).

This house is the perfect location for your visit in Yosemity. It is well equipped and the complex (Pine Mountain lake) is nice too, especially when it is hot and you like to have a swim after a long day out. There are lots of animals just right in front of the house so sitting on the terasse is a good way of spending the evenings. Tim

Not exactly as advertised, much left to be desired. House and Owner have potential.
The house itself wasn't that bad. It wasn't necessarily as clean as one would expect. Cleaning was very superficial. 15 minutes before arriving we were notified of an ant problem. The house had been sprayed, but there were large dead ants everywhere. The upstairs bed had smaller ants and my girls were not able to use the bed after a few days even though they cleaned it out each night. They slept on fold out cushions. - There was an issue with towels and washcloths. We were given 4 towels and 4 washcloths for four adults over ten days. After inquiring about the towels, we were given an additional 5 towels for the remainder of the stay. -- The air conditioner was removed a few days before we arrived and thus no air conditioning. I was advised this would not be addressed during our stay. We were able to make due, but a few of the nights were quite warm, especially upstairs. - Judy was pleasant when we contacted her and responded quickly but the house just wasn't quite ready and no accommodations are considered for those who stay more than a night or two. Rather than going back to the owner again after the towel issue, we made due. I didn't want my trip to be hassling the owner each night. The beds were fairly comfortable, the area was quiet and the home was cozy. The rate on the house was decent compared to renting a hotel. Honestly a partial refund would be expected given the house was definitely not as advertised or ready to be inhabited for that length of time. Our reservations were months in advance and construction was happening the day of our arrival.- When you are 1700 miles from home you have to make due, so that is what we did. - Yosemite is a beautiful place full of wonder and the memories will last a lifetime. While some things with the house definitely put a damper on our stay, it did provide us with a home base. I wish Judy the best of luck with this property in the future and hope that she uses this as a learning experience. The gas fireplace was a nice touch and I think this will be a very nice property once the issues have been addressed.

Fabulous house, even better than the pictures!
We stayed here while hiking every day for two weeks in Yosemite. It required some driving, but the house and the town of Groveland had everything we needed to leave in the morning well prepared and to pleasantly unwind in the evening. Judy was very attentive upon our arrival and the house was clean and had everything we needed. A great two weeks and a great value!

Very Nice!
The little brown house was just as described. Very comfortable and had all the kitchen appliance and dishes you will need. I love the back deck; the deer came out every evening and morning. Walk to the green on the right and there is a spectacular view. The lake was very nice to take a swim after a day at Yosemite. Over all this is a great destination and again the house was very nice and comfortable.

Beautiful deck with a view of the golf course
We enjoyed our short stay in the Little Brown Cabin. The beds are very comfortable, and the furniture in the house is very nice. New towels, especially in the downstairs bathroom with fresh soap & shampoo for each guest would have made our stay even more enjoyable. Either new kitchen sponges or a freshly washed dish wag to clean dishes for each new guest would be nice. Judy is a lovely person, and she keeps in touch with you to overcome any complications.

An amazing deck
If you are going to California to spend your time outside and don't need or want anything fancy...this is a great rental. There is a lot of dust and every dish needed washed before it could be used. The silverware holder had food and dirt in it. There is limited a/c and no washer or dryer. We went to California for the outdoor experience and this cabin was perfect for us. 2 bathrooms, plenty of space, conveniently located and every evening and morning started and ended on the amazing deck. We made wonderful memories here and they will all start with...on the deck

Great location
We were vacationing for 2 weeks prior to our visit at the cabin, with lots of driving so we were very happy to have some down time. Absolutely loved the large back deck! It was very hot during our stay and the air conditioner couldn't really keep up but the house cooled down in the evenings when we opened the windows. You do have to pay a 27.00 fee at the gate for the week It was fairly close to Yosemite and I loved how quiet the neighborhood was. It does have a lot of curvy roads getting in to it! Judy was always quick at responses which I appreciated.

Great location
This was a good place to stay as we were traveling from the west coast of CA to Yosemite. We enjoyed the back deck the most. There are a LOT of curvy roads getting there. You also have to buy a 27.00 pass to get into the gated community. Judy had a quick response to all my inquiries.

A Happy Little Rustic cabin on a cul de sac
We arrived a little after check in time, had a slight hiccup at security check point, witch got resolve quickly after a quick call from homeowner.
We arrived at The little brown house on Tiger court, it looks very rustic, which was exactly what we wanted and on a quiet cul de sac. 1 bedroom with bath across on first floor , then a loft with bath . The loft is open to the living dinning area with big upper windows onto the 9th fairway.
Its a cute little rustic cabin, hardwood looking floor on first floor with a nice new deck , yes it comes with a small weber BBQ, so you can grill outside.
the kitchen as everything you may need to cook and serve and equipped with microwave , fridge with top freezer and gas cooktop with stove , no dishwasher, no washer dryer.
the upper bedroom as new carpet a very comfortable high king size(?) bed, with TV, boom box and dvd player.
The upper bathroom as a small standup shower , one sink and the toilet.
its was tight fit for me in the shower, the shower head could use a little update and the regulator hot and cold also could use an update .
Overall the Little brown house is a great value , a 2 minute walking distance from amenities like pool, golf club, restaurant and bar and tennis courts.
a 5 min drive to the lake with picnic tables ,BBQ and sandy beach.

Owner super nice and helpful. Thank you! Very cute and cozy little cabin. The only problem is the housekeeping. The dust inside....Around furniture, underneath carpet, and sofa's. House should be cleaner for that amount (cleaning fee).... But after all everything was great!!! I like the area if you planning to staying inside the resort. Lots of things to do. FYI: Not dogs allowed at the beach. Thank you, Hazel S.

The property over all was great.
The two couches located in the living room was very uncomfortable. In fact, we had to get a couple of chairs from the deck to sit in.
The kitchen worked out great for the week.
I can see if a little maintenance was preformed correctly now, it would be cost effective for the future. I say correctly because while we were there, someone lowered the side screen door, leaving a gap at the top of about 3 inches so the bugs had a place to enter.
The movies left for our enjoyment was fantastic. In fact after a great day in the park, we watched a movie each night. Thanks
The neighbors, Richard, Linda and Larry were fantastic. We talked in the yard several times and was even ask to come over one night for supper. We really enjoyed our time with them. Great people.
What can I say about the area. It was much more than I ever imagined. Deer came up to the cabin each night and Yosemite NP was amazing.
We will probably not get to come back but if we do, we will contact you to stay at your location again.
Thanks and may God Blees

This was a wonderful place to stay for two nights while we explored Yosemite. I just wished it was closer to the park. There is a well stocked kitchen which was an unexpected joy. The outside area made it fun to eat meals on the patio and the morning deer visits were an added bonus.

We loved the location of this cabin, on a quiet golf course where we saw deer and families of geese leading their babies to the pond. It was peaceful and quiet - very relaxing! And, an easy ride into Yosemite. It was clean and comfortable.
2.0 / 5.0
The cabin was very cozy with many desirable amenities. The kitchen was fully equipped with silverware, cooking implements and coffee maker. The backgammon coffee table was a nice surprise and the vaulted ceiling gave it a larger feel; however, be advised that sound travels easily through the whole unit so it's best if everyone is on the same sleep schedule. The fact that they accept dogs is a plus since we brought our lab mix. The deck with the outdoor grill was a nice feature too, though it was a bit chilly to spend too much time out there when we visited in late March. For the price and proximity to Yosemite, I would recommend this place to my friends.
