Located between the boardwalk and the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor, in the desirable Seabright area of Santa Cruz, this home is perfect for family gatherings, vacations, and weekend getaways. Built in 1982 by local architect Thatcher Thompson, designed specifically for family and entertaining. Ocean and white water views from the window-lined great room and expansive deck. Located 2 doors from the best beach in Santa Cruz County, Seabright Beach. Only a 2 minute walk to the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor and a 10 minute walk to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and cafes. Enjoy surfing at two famous surf spots: Pleasure Point and Steamers Lane. Harbor has boats, kayaks, and paddle boards for rent. Sportfishing, whale watching, wild life, and lunch and dinner charters.available.

The location of this home is only two houses away from the Ocean, and a block to the stairway down to Seabright beach. Gorgeous home, deck that gives an ocean view, amenities and comfort galore.

Property is exactly as described. Great location, a short walk from Seabright beach in a quiet neighborhood. The beds are very comfortable and the apartment is well stocked. You can hear the waves as you go to sleep. I would stay here again!

From the start, our communication process with Scott/Jodie was clear, friendly, and hospitable.
The location is even better than they can fully show with description and photos - you can watch the waves crash behind a fabulous standalone fireplace from the built-in sofa or the spacious front deck. You walk 30 seconds to a staircase leading to a huge beach with volleyball, soccer goals, fire pits, and a super cool lighthouse.
There are restaurants, cool locals-bars, and coffee shops a few minutes walk away and a great natural history museum... and the rest of Santa Cruz is just a short bike or drive away - this place is PERFECT.
The house was fully stocked with everything you could imagine for the kitchen/grill.
The house's interior design is unique and makes you feel like you're at the beach, even when you're inside.
We had a small issue with the water heater, and they took care of it immediately and proactively, even over a holiday weekend. The hosts are absolute pros.
Can't recommend this place highly enough - we had an 11/10 stay

Jodie's house was perfect for us (me, my husband, 2 kids under 2.5, and our au pair). It was so close to the beach, making it a breeze to take our toddler down there. It was walking distance from great restaurants and our favorite coffee shop. The house was well-stocked, making it feel more like someone's home than a rental (in a good way). Jodie was very communicative, responsive, and flexible!

This property worked out great. The family of four had plenty of room and privacy downstairs while those without kids were happy upstairs. The location of this home is unbelievable. So close to the beach, The Boardwalk. Marina, restaurants, etc. Everyone wants to go back.

Nice neighborhood. Incredibly convenient. Very walkable and safe. Near several cafes, delis, and restaurants. A short 15 min walk to the Boardwalk and the Wharf.
Being the third house from the beach area, we enjoyed views of the ocean from the living room and deck. And it was a 5 minute walk to the ocean.
The owners were very responsive and super nice. The house was clean and really livable.

Our family of six stayed here while attending graduation at UCSC. We had a great time. The house is comfortable and well supplied. Plenty of room for all of us. The location in Seabright was perfect. Close to everything. The owners are very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.

This is an outstanding house, with a beautiful ocean view from the patio and plentiful space. We had 3 small children and 4 adults and the house was the perfect amount of privacy and spaciousness. Our girls loved the loft area! We cooked several times in the well-stocked and very clean kitchen. The living room and the dining table seated all of us comfortably.
The house is well decorated and very comfortable. We appreciated all the beach gear, outdoor shower, and other thoughtful amenities. The proximity to the beach, boardwalk, pier and harbor can’t be beat. The neighborhood is beautiful, well-kept and feels very safe. The sea breeze and sound of the waves every night was amazing.
The hosts are very responsive and provide a lot of information about the area and the house. Highly recommend!

One of the best rentals we’ve been in, with respect to kitchen and living supplies. Great for a vacation where you are spending most of your time in the house. Walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. Didn’t need to drive most days.

We loved our stay at this Seabright vacation home. The location is great - walkable to beach, boardwalk and restaurants. There was plenty of space for our joint family group of 8. The kitchen is well equipped with high end appliances and pots & pans and all other supplies. The owner was friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Seabright Beach house. The location was fabulous. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful but not far from some good restaurants and a coffee shop. The house was well stocked with everything from towels and bathroom supplies to kitchen utensils and dishware and glassware. The design is a bit dated but everything was well maintained and very clean. The master bathroom shower head needs to be replaced. Without that there is really only one full bath. The property manager was prompt and helpful in answering any questions we had. We would definitely come back again.

What an incredible stay. When we think about Santa Cruz, this is exactly the kind of place we think about. The house has an awesome Santa Cruz vibe, is HUGE and had more than enough space for 4 adults and 2 kids, has the perfect location if you're into awesome beach access, and the owners/property managers were incredible. We've stayed at various places in Santa Cruz (we live in San Jose, so Santa Cruz is the ideal quick get-away destination) but nothing compares to this property. Both families haven't stopped talking about the house since we got back. And we're already working on calendars trying to find the next time we can stay at the house. Trust me: you won't be disappointed if you stay here.

All of us loved the proximity to Seabright Beach, the best and cleanest beach in Santa Cruz. We could see the beach from the house and listened to the ocean at night.
The house was very comfortable for us, 4 adults and 3 children. The children walked up the stairs and immediately fell in love with the loft. The kitchen has new top of the line appliances with safety features and there is a large grill on a secondary deck. We did not use the grill due to the easy walking distance to an excellent Italian restaurant.
My favorite architectural feature is the 1970s style large open living room with tall windows on 3 sides and a high ceiling.
The house was very well stocked, with
lots of extra towels and supplies, even Starbucks coffee for the Keurig machine.
The hostess was very responsive and kind.

This house was everything we could have asked for and more. The location, set up for entertaining, easy appliances and fully stocked! Communication was easy and very responsive! We hope to be back next year as we created amazing memories with our family!!

This house was perfectly situated for our family! Steps from the beach, easy walk to the harbor and 41st Avenue. Plenty of room for everyone. The most impressive thing about the house was how well-equipped it was-- so many towels, both for bath and beach, lots of kitchen equipment, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, etc.
The hosts were easy to communicate with and very friendly! I would stay here again, if I had the opportunity.

This house is in a great location and is well set up for multiple families with kids. Our teens enjoyed having the loft space to themselves. Well equipped with kitchen items, towels, beach chairs and all the things you need. The house is fully carpeted (including bathrooms) and they use air fresheners or plugs ins or something that was a little strong for the more scent sensitive in our group. Otherwise great vacation rental overall.

There's also a cute small museum (Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History) a 5 min walk away that the kids absolutely enjoyed. The house also has accommodations for all age groups-- my kids loved having the entire loft to themselves and there was enough space that everyone was comfortable. You can hear soothing waves at night as you drift to sleep and in the morning, wake up to the view of the ocean speckled with sailboats from the deck.

The property is in a great location allowing you to walk to many amenities (deli, market, coffee, restaurants). The house is one of the best stocked vacation rentals we have experienced. We cooked at home a few nights and had everything we needed to make the meal complete. Jodie is very accommodating and the communication was top notch.This is a great vacation spot for any large family!I will rent again without hesitation.

Very comfortable house steps from the beach. 12 minute walk along the bluff to the boardwalk. Kids "Free ranged", while adults hung on beach or comfortable and spacious deck big LR for movie night and well appointed kitchen. Easy communication with owners. We enjoyed!
