About the area:
This is an ideal vacation spot any time of the year! Escape to Santa Cruz and enjoy this beautiful, bright, and well-equipped Beach House. You will love this house and enjoy that it is just a few minutes walk to West Cliff Drive and Natural Bridges State Beach. West Cliff Drive offers a multiuse path that overlooks the beautiful Monetary Bay with breathtaking views. It is the most beautiful part of Santa Cruz. It is a perfect spot to drive, walk, bike, run or skate. Keep your eyes open for whales, dolphins, seals, sea otters, and other wildlife. If you enjoy watching surfers catch the ultimate wave, head to Steamers Lane near Lighthouse field and enjoy the grassy field for an afternoon picnic.

Summer is the season to enjoy watching Humpback Whales from the shore. You will also see Monarch Butterflies near to Natural Bridges State Park, which is across the street from us. There are even a few Monarch butterflies that visit our backyard.
Walk or bike to Westside cafes and restaurants, the Lighthouse, Natural Bridges, downtown, the wharf, bakeries, and excellent breweries, and wineries. All of these are just a 10-minute bike ride away. Art openings in the neighborhood and a farmer's market each Saturday are just .5 miles away. The downtown farmer's market is on Wednesdays. There is also a farmers market around the corner from the house on Saturdays. Santa Cruz is the ultimate place to find fresh organic produce. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is an 8 min drive or 2.4 miles down Delaware Ave.

About the house:

The house is equipped with bikes, beach chairs, sand toys, and beach towels. The neighborhood has a few other vacation rentals mixed in with long-term residents. It is a fairly quiet respectable neighborhood, which is nice and clean in one of Santa Cruz's most sought after areas.

This two-story home offers a living room, family room, formal dining room, and family dining in the kitchen overlooking the backyard with a total of four bedrooms and 3 full baths. Downstairs you will find a bedroom with a full-size bed and a comfortable queen size pull out couch and a full bathroom. Upstairs there is a large master suite with a sunken bathtub, two additional bedrooms, and a full bathroom. In the family room, there is a Smart TV with access to Netflix, Amazon, and much more and a cable TV in the master bedroom. The house is bright, comfortable and CLEAN. The backyard is fully fenced with a pergola and seating around a cozy fire table. You will LOVE it here and feel right at home.

Perfect for a quick drive to Natural Bridges stare park to either watch for Monarch butterflies or play on the beach. Also great to get to West Cliff drive for a beautiful stroll along the coast.

The house was great. The kids' room is adorable, and we appreciated all of the bikes and toys left for us to enjoy. Great proximity to the beach, with a free State Park pass - thanks! The garbage was really full, and we didn't know whether to put the bins out on garbage day. We didn't know it was garbage day until we heard the trucks the next morning, so we left them even more full. It would have been nice to know about that. Also, The manager wasn't there upon arrival, as expected, to give me the new entry code. If the housekeepers hadn't still been there when we arrived, we would not have known how to get in the house.

Beds and bedding were comfortable, Lots of towels, liked all the beach stuff, and fire pit. Couldn’t seem to get lamps in some bedrooms to work, ants in master bathroom, and some kitchen pans were old and rusty.

A nice location close to a small beach and nature area and only minutes from the Boardwalk area. The home is well equipped for a full family of both adults and children. The jogging stroller was particularly helpful and the bikes and beach toys welcome. We made good use of both the full kitchen and the gas BBQ. I expect that we will be back.

This house worked great for extended family - 4 bedrooms! Everything worked well and we loved the bikes! Janiece, our manager was super great to work with - she responded immediately to any questions. We totally enjoyed this house! Thank you!

The location of this house is its greatest advantage. Unfortunately, the promised pass to Natural Bridges State Park was not honored. The existing pass had expired, and when we contacted the property manager, she promised she would deliver a current pass but that did not occcur. I would never rent a property again that did not allow you to wear shoes in the house which is the case with this property. The house could use some upgrades (plumbing is very noisy and the icemaker doesn't work).

We had a great time. The spacious house was everything I imagined it would be. My son's wedding was the center attraction. Wish I had more time to visit and enjoy the area. We especially enjoyed the fire pit in the evening.

We enjoyed our stay with our family in Santa Cruz for a wedding. Not many true 4 bedroom homes for rent with 3 baths available in town. The property is well maintained, good wifi, tv, and the kitchen is well supplied with utensils. Janiece, the property manager, quickly responded to our questions and checked in with us to make sure everything was ok.
