About this house rental
Our 'Elk Summit' home is in the exclusive Windcliff Estates, located just a few miles outside of the town of Estes Park and only a few minutes away from the YMCA of the Rockies. This 6,200 square foot luxurious mountain home provides unbelievable views of the Continental Divide and Rocky Mountain National Park. It is large enough that it can accommodate your whole family and give you the privacy you desire. When entering this majestic home from the front entry prepare to have your breath taken away! You're immediately welcomed into an inviting Great Room with a gas fireplace, and an absolutely incredible view of the Rockies spanning two levels with floor to ceiling windows. To your right lies the executive gourmet kitchen equipped with top of the line, brand new appliances and granite countertops. Everybody will want to be a chef and use the sub-zero refrigerator, double Viking oven with warming drawer, and Wolf gas range and hood. This kitchen has plenty of dinnerware to help you serve all of your family and friends during your holidays and special gatherings. To the left of the Great Room, lies one of the two enormous master bedroom suites with a special sliding glass door entrance onto the deck. It is loaded with amenities including in a gas fireplace, king bed, flat screen HDTV and a walk in closet fit for a star! You can relax in a little bit of heaven in the master bathroom complete with in-floor heating (throughout the entire house), a jetted bath for two, double vanity, granite countertops, ceramic tile and a steam shower with full body shower heads, and a tranquil overhead rain shower head. You can really melt away all of your stress in this spa environment! Also to be clear, there is a jetted tub in the bathroom, but no outside hot tub on the property.
Travel upstairs to the log I-beam loft and once again view the sights of the mountain range through the wall of windows spanning both floors then venture out on the deck to enjoy the serenity and smell the fresh mountain air. It truly has spectacular views, especially during the sunrise and sunset hours of the day. Stand at the log banister and overlook the Great Room below or turn to the left and visit the second master bedroom. This room has rustic log furniture, a walk in closet, gas fireplace, flat screen television and of course, more views. The master bath has a double vanity with granite countertops, ceramic tile and a steam shower. The bedroom next to the master houses a bunk bed with two full size beds. The closet in this room contains toys, books and games to entertain both children and families alike. Just outside the door of this room lies another full bathroom. The final bedroom on this floor is quite charming and has a queen bed, a private full bathroom and a wood lined cathedral ceiling. Go down the hall and find yourself in a lovely family room with a gas fireplace, wet bar with granite countertops and views, views and more views. Keep on the lookout; we have seen Elk, deer, hawks and even a few wild turkeys! We also have heard bear and bobcat sightings are common in the area, so have your camera ready!
The final floor is the basement, located at ground level. That's right; there are still amazing views from here! There is another Great Room with a gas fireplace, wet bar with granite countertops, sink, and an extra refrigerator. Off of the Great Room is the Theatre room equipped with an HDTV, BluRay player and surround sound. Down the hallway are a full bathroom and the final guest bedroom with a queen bed. Laundry facilities are also on this level.
This home is really a delight for all who enter with its amazing views, ski lodge feel and enough space to accommodate all of your guests with ease. With Rocky Mountain National Park and the YMCA just minutes away you will have plenty to do, not to mention all of the wonderful shopping and dining establishments located in Estes Park. We hope that our house will provide you with many wonderful memories and help to bring you closer to those who mean the most to you. So bring your hiking shoes, water bottles and cameras and enjoy our dream house in the Rockies any time of the year! (License #3008)

The house is much larger than the pictures make it out to be and is stunningly beautiful!!! Very clean and well kept. Lots of places to hang out and easy to keep kids and adults separate if wanted. Was fortunate enough to meet the owner… very nice and friendly. Would highly recommend and will def stay there again! Thanks Ryan!!!

Great house, very comfortable. No hot tub though.

This large home is beautifully set on the hills in Windcliff. The views are breath taking and the house is large and beautiful. Just know the roads up to the house and to the driveway are steep and many winding switchbacks.... but totally worth it.

We love everything about this wonderful huge well stocked home. There is a trail in neighborhood that connects to RMNP.

We have stayed in Windcliff numerous times and this was by far the best home for a reunion with our three children and their families. Very spacious with a family gathering room on each of the three floors. Well stocked kitchen. Many of the rooms had fantastic views of the mountains. Will definitely return in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation, which this large, comfortable property made possible. The location and views are outstanding. Our children and grandchildren had a wonderful time, making for a great couple of weeks together.

Stunning views. Immaculate. Spacious. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more. The large bedrooms and full baths gave everyone privacy. Couldn't imagine a better place to create precious memories.

Family vacation, the house was perfect for our three familys to gather at the same location. We had room to spread out and it was very accommodating on a rainy day. The only thing that could have been better would have been a comfortable recliner/recliners in the main level great room. We had one member of our party that had a hard time with going up/down steps.

Perfect property for our family of 11. Everyone had their own space and plenty of common areas. The views were beautiful. Would highly recommend.

This house is three floors of big open spaces. We mainly gathered on the upper floor because it is carpeted, and more comfortable for our two year olds. The loft area up there is so big we were able to inflate a bounce house for our little ones to play in! The best part of this house is the location and the views, but that isn’t all the house has to offer. There’s plenty of room for multiple families with 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The two decks are great for watching the sunset behind the mountains every night. Cooking isn’t a problem because every pot or pan you could possibly need is provided. The home is nicely decorated, and the owners are just a phone call away if you should need anything.

They were quick to repair a shower problem. Nice deck for star watching. Nice that they had unscented laundry soap, but many of the rooms had a fragrance when we checked in. The fragrance went away after a day or 2, except in one area where it seems the fragrance was coming from an "owner's closet" (no big deal for people who aren't sensitive to fragrance). Many lightbulbs were missing so some areas were dark. It would be nice to have some shade on the deck in the afternoon/early evening - this is when we wanted to use it but it was just too bright and warm, so we stayed inside. The garage door opener code did not work for us. The TV instructions for the basement TV were not sufficient so we couldn't use that TV. Small problems - overall we loved it.

This is the best place we have stayed at in our 8 years at RMNP! The views of RMNP from the decks are exceptional. Well worth the investment.

Great property, great amenities, great view. Some details need attention. Several bedrooms fitted sheets keep sliding off matress. Could not find where to turn on Master bedroom overhead lights nearest fireplace. Could not adjust speed of MBR fan but could change its direction. Need more coffee cups. We would return without hesitation.

BEAUTIFUL home! The three levels allowed us to spread out so we could work (sadly, some did have to do that), play and gather together for great family meals. Lots of fun activities for young kids (book, games, TV, videos), a nice sized kitchen for cooking, spectacular mountain views, great stargazing in the night time, and wildlife that came very close to the house and stayed for awhile.
We loved it!

Spectacular!
Spectacular! From the views of the mountains from 2 decks, to the well stocked chefs kitchen, large bedrooms, huge bathrooms with steam shower and whirlpool, a theatre room, all towels and linens, and board games, there’s nothing you need to bring. The home was spotless and close to downtown and the park entrance. Our family, 8 adults, 4 kids, had the best vacation. My 7 year old grandson said he liked the Colorado vacation better than Disney World.

Amazing home and location
We had an amazing vacation while staying at this beautiful home! There were 11 of us (6 adults, 3 teens, and 2 kids) that were able to sleep comfortably. The views from every floor of the home are breathtaking! The house was clean and the kitchen is stocked with all the pots/pans, utensils, or dishes you need. If you are looking for a place to stay this is definitely it! Just like some of the other reviews state, getting up the hill to the home is a little tricky but totally worth it!

Came out to stay for Christmas with my family. Ages ranged from 1-83 and everyone LOVED the home. They made it so special for the Holiday! Tree was beautiful & every room was decorated! Could not have done it better myself! Home had EVERYTHING we needed & plenty of space for our group of 12. Will be staying here again. Not to mention the amazing views from every level!

Perfect for family reunion
The 10 of us found this “lodge” to be perfect for giving each of the 5 couples their own personal space. 6 cousins rented a 1/2 mile from us, and our rental was very comfortable for all 16 for meals. Kitchen is abundantly stocked, including basic food items. The steep drive is challenging, but it was worth it, particularly the views from our rental. Ryan was very easy to work with. Highly recommend.

A Family Vacation
Wind Cliff Estates; specifically this property was outstanding! Everything we had hoped for in planning our family vacation with my adult children and significant others. We had 8 adults residing here for the week with ample room. What a pleasant experience catching up with my daughter and partner from Denmark, son and fiancée from DC and 2 daughters from Virginia. Everything you could possibly need was provided at this home. A well stocked selection of seasonings and ample supple of cooking utensils, and cookware. The views from every window in the home were breath taking and the star gazing was phenomenal! The location is ideal for hiking at Estes National Park, as well as traveling to Denver, Colorado Springs and Boulder. So much to do at the home as well; including a movie/theatre room with surround sound. We had such an enjoyable week at this home; many fond memories that will be cherished.

Spacious Home, Fabulous Views
More living spaces than one can imagine! I don't think we even used half this house and we were 5 adults and 1 child.
A bit of a drive to the main road but worth it for the space and views.
The photos of the kitchen don't do it justice, it is very spacious and leaves room for many cooks pulling meals together.
So happy to have had this home as a base for hiking and visiting.

Breathtaking views- beautiful home!
This was the perfect place for us to call home while we were visiting for a wedding. There were 10 of us plus a baby and there was enough room for us to spread out or hang out! Ryan was very communicative about things, so check-in and check-out were a breeze. The home is clean, well stocked and in a great location for all the hiking we wanted to do at RMNP. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us Ryan!

log cabin mansion
This house is really awesome, and the mountain views out every window are really amazing. The home is very well equipped with everything you need from toilet paper to trash bags. Just run and get some groceries and you are good to go. I think of the house as a Log Cabin Mansion on the side of a mountain. The road getting up to the house seems a little narly but it is safe and you will get used to it quick, it is actually kinda fun to drive on, after a couple times going up.

Wonderful family experience
My husband and I brought our two daughters, their husbands, four grandkids and my mother. The house was perfect for us! So beautiful and so much room! The kids, who range in age from 3 to 12, had a blast and didn’t want to leave. It was a perfect place for our family to enjoy being together.

Great House in Estes Park
The home had truly everything we needed, lots of space, amazing views of the Rocky Mountains and even a steam room. Our family of 11 had a Great Time. It took a few trips up to the house to get use to the winding road, but the elevation made the views Amazing!!

Great Family Get-Away!
Spacious and well out-fitted vacation home with absolutely stunning views of the Rocky Mountains on all three levels. Great location to RMNP entrances leading to some of the most beautiful hiking in the country. Nicely carpeted areas were perfect for the kids (ages to 1 through 8) to play. There are so many space options for watching TV and movies or just getting away from screaming grandkids for some quiet time and reflecting over the beautiful mountain scenery. This place is not a home... it is a resort! My favorite activity... the steam shower every evening. What a way to relax after a long hike!
Highly recommend for a family vacation!
