The house was perfect for our stay. Location across from the beach access and close enough for a quick bike ride to the Night Heron Park was exactly what we were looking for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The house was a lot more spacious than we thought and it’s a great deal for being so close to beach plus having resort privileges! Had everything we needed!

We had a great week! The best part about this house is its proximity to the beach. Boardwalk 13 is right across the street. This is super helpful if you have someone in your party who can’t do long bike rides or walks to get to the beach, like we did.
I will say that house felt “tired”. I think some updated bedding and nice sheets would have put this house over the top. The two queen beds in the 3rd bed room squeak whenever you roll over which was the only complaint from my teenagers who slept in there. Also, I had looked forward to family dinners on the porch but the table and chairs weren’t in great shape so we weren’t able to eat out there. However, those are minor issues and would be easy fixes to help make this place a truly exceptional stay. That said, we would definitely stay here again due to it’s amazing location along beautiful Eugenia Avenue.

Beach is right across the non-busy street and the shops our close by. This was right after a storm so there was debris but that is certainly expected. The owner was very helpful and we were able to check in after the property was cleared. Enjoyed our stay. Each bedroom had their own bath.

The house is beautiful. There were plenty of towels and the place was clean. It was a VERY quick walk to the beach and with 4 small kids that was important to us. The beach was beautiful with few people nearby. I would absolutely stay again!

Property is directly across from walkway to beach thereby affording access as if it was beachfront. Beach was quiet and not crowded. Kitchen was adequate and grill worked well. We had problems with one bathroom that essentially precluded its use for the stay. Maintenance people were responsive but could not repair while we were in residence. This was a relatively small inconvenience that will be repaired soon. We will definitely consider this property for a repeat stay.

Perfect location. This is the third time a member of our extended family has rented the home. It’s easy for little ones to be directly across the street from the beach and easy for older kids to ride to Night Herron.

Our family of four had plenty of room and a fun stay. Good spot close to the beach. Owner/property manager was highly responsive and good to work with.

Excellent location in beautiful setting. Very short walk to beach—shorter than some places on beach that are further from a beach entrance. Beach is not crowded. Great place to ride bikes. Inclusion of resort pass gives easy access to pools. Responsive to needs and questions. Hope to return next summer.

We spent 2 weeks. It is in excellent condition and located right across the street from an entrance to the beach. The house had everything we needed. Being able to use the Night Heron pool was a terrific benefit that does not come with most rentals.

The house was perfect for the 5 of us plus our new grandson. House is clean, outstanding location, we truly enjoyed it! The kitchen is light on basic cooking utensils, but we made it work.

House had been recently updated with pets in mind. It made it easy to keep every thing neat and clean. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation.

We would definitely consider staying here again in the shoulder or off season. We do enjoy cooking and eating in after a long day enjoying the many activities available on Kiawah, so the kitchen equipment was a bit sparse for us.

Came here with 3 kids ranging from 3 months to 5 years as well as my parents. If I could rate the location higher than 5 stars I would. What a game changer being so close to the beach! The resort privileges are a must for us, and the house had plenty of space. Would definitely recommend and book again!!

We love the close access to a very private beach walk. Resort amenities are great to have as well. We loved our week at Kiawah!

For the most part things were good. Improvement suggestions: Pet friendly. We did not have any pets & when our 27 year old daughter did stretches on the living room carpet, she had at least 3 different types of animal hair on her. Our 28 year old son slept in the room with two double beds and said every morning he felt like he had slept with the previous renters dog.
All but two of the remotes did NOT have any batteries in them.
Toilet in master bathroom and hallway bathroom needs to be rebolted to the floor.
Son swept off decks and driveway. With the PGA tournament last week, thought outside would have been spruced up better.

We just returned from this wonderful house and have already booked our next trip! If you are a family with young children, this is the house for you.A couple of notes:1. The house is directly across the street from the beach. You cannot find an easier route to haul your kids and your stuff to the beach. This house is a fraction of the cost of the beachfront houses that are across from it, but your walk is about the same distance. 2. The house is great if you have toddlers or younger children and need a house that's not super fancy (as in, you're not afraid the whole week that they are going to break valuables, etc.). It's not the fanciest house but has everything that you could need and the space is perfect for young kids. 3. Having resort privileges is a wonderful treat! We have rented on Kiawah before without it, but it's great that you can take the shuttle around the island, go to the restaurants, use the pool, etc. We needed additional dishwasher detergent and contacted the concierge, and they brought it right to our door! A few comments for the very kind owners/future renters for feedback:1. The house is not the nicest and showed some wear in the kitchen and in the cleanliness. I had to sweep a few times and it probably needs a deep clean, but it was fine for what we needed.2. The dryer takes a while to dry clothes, so be prepared when doing laundry.3. Make sure to bring everything that you need for cooking, other than the actual pots, utensils, etc. I think with Covid, the supplies are super limited so I had to run to the store to get Pam and other necessities I forgot.4. It would be nice if the owners supplied some additional utensils, plates, and cups, as there were only enough for my family of 4 for one meal with utensils. All in all, we had a great time and cannot wait to return next year!

A great location for easy beach access! The house was very clean and the beds/furniture was comfortable. The kitchen could have used more utensils since we cooked almost every meal there. Thanks for letting us bring our well trained dogs with us as they loved the wide open beach!

I was a little disappointed that the house was not Ocean Front but actually 2nd row with no view of ocean at all, but the path at the end of driveway across the street does lead to the beach i just wanted a view of the ocean from the house which is zero. Nice little house and very clean so for some this would not be a big deal. Everything else was perfect just don't think your going to see the ocean from the house and you will enjoy the island
