Rohan is 'n fantastiese gasheer!

One of our favorite lodges in Namibia! It was really comfortable and modern lodge but at the same time felt like being on a real farm (which it is :)). Exceptionally friendly and warm staff, we had a lovely dinner and they offered a plate of snack to enjoy while watching the sunset. Good hiking route to the waterhole. Many different animals live nearby and the two dogs were lovely. It was easy to find and drive to the farm through well-marked route to two other farms. Perfect location between Etosha and Windhoek.

Really fantastic location with an engaging host (Rohan) to make our stay very very enjoyable. A location with good activities, great food, places to hang out and spend an enjoyable time. we alternated between self-catering and eating there.
The hide could have been dusted out.

Located a bit off road in a beautiful private property with game crossing on the way, we had a great night at the lodge and I could only recommend the setting, the peace and quiet, the food and the people taking care of the place.

Khan River Lodge is a typical Namibian guest farm with an amount of accommodation that allows to fulfill every guest‘s wishes and preferences. Management and staff is very, very friendly and highly service- oriented and helpful. A lovely place with high comfort and cleanliness that offers the foreign traveller the Namibian bush feeling in comfort and a quiet atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable. Wifi connects you to the world, though. To be highly recommended. Hope to be back next year.
Nothing to complain.

Rustige plaas atmosfeer. Uitstekende gids. Rohan beste gids in die land en Jossie beste chef met persoonlike diens.
Niks. Als perfek.

The local farm style lodge, like a working farm experience with great facilities for tourists.
I got two thorns in my feet from walking barefoot from room to pool, take care! Maybe regular sweeping required.

We didn’t want to stay in Swakopmund any longer and did look for an alternative on the way to Windhoek, we luckily found Khan River Lodge on Booking.com, Ruan and Josie are people you hardly find, friendly, efficient and Josie and her girls cooked up a storm for us. They like to make guests happy. Varkie was the Highlight – want to know whos Varkie? ask them
all perfect, nothing more to say

The property looks very nice. Rooms were sparkling clean and for first time in our holiday we had a fridge in the room. This is very useful as we are driving a lot and we can take our water, fruits, etc cold at least when we leave.
We took a game drive and Rohan told us a lot of interesting information. We enjoyed a lot the activity and the sunset from the rocks.
The food was very tasty. We had dinner and Josephine prepared some amazing dishes. Thank you Josy!
Thank you Rohan for everything and we look forward to come back for more than just 1 night.

Rowan and Josy immediately made us feel home. They genuinely care about their guests. Combined with the small scale of the lodge (max 12 guests) made it the perfect location to finish our Namibia trip.
There is really nothing to complain.

We loved it here! On arrival we had an enthusiastic welcome from the dogs and warthog, and the staff too! We were made to feel very welcome, and the grounds are lovely. The food was excellent, including after coffee and cake, and sundowner snacks. My dietary needs were dealt with well too, and we enjoyed an excellent dinner and breakfast. Comfortable and clean accommodation.

An oasis in the wild! We enjoyed the wonderful view to the waterhole from our bed as well as the clean and refreshing swimming pool. Rohan did a great job with introducing the facilities and joined our evening campfire with great stories and information. The sundowner tour we did with him was a definete highlight of our trip to Nambia. Rohan's knowledge about the nature is fascinating. The food was also amazing and freshly cooked by Josy and her team. We can only recommend this place! It was also easy to reach with our 2WD VW Bus.
Nothing :-)

What a lovely place! The staff is outstanding friendly and makes every effort to make your stay as great as possible.
There was a delicous 4 course supper, lovely presented by Josy and her kitchen crew. There is a nice pool area and a peaceful surrounding, perfect to relax.
We only had one night at this wonderful place, what a pitty...

We loved the hospitality, the food , the view, the activities and nature experience! A big thank you to all the crew! It exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back sometime soon. The sundowner drive and dinner afterwards are a must. The rooms are big and spacious and have a lovely view across the farm. Everybody was so friendly and keen to make our stay the most pleasant one!

A really nice lodge, just under 2 hours away from Windhoek Airport, well suited as a first or last destination. Friendly hosts and chef Jozy is a real sweetheart! Her food gets a 10 out of 10 and is fun to talk to. The location is great, surrounded by trees and shimmering yellow grass in beautiful nature and very quiet.
