Beautiful rooms! Pleasant staff and great food
Nothing it was perfect

Very clean. Bed comfortable. Bought evening meals that were excellent. The people that checked us in were excellent.
Unfortunately we could hear the people in the next door room.
4.7
Exceptional room in the converted barn. Excellent food. Fabulous Staff.
4.7
Room was large, clean and modern. Bed comfortable and just opposite the pub (which on a hot summers day when you need the windows opening made it rather noisy - so could benefit from a fan in the room) Issue with drains so I was moved to another room, which was good as away from the pub garden and quieter.
That there wasn't a dog bowl provided which is just a helpful addition when travelling with your dog. Sound insulation could be better (fire doors mean a lot of slamming into a corridor with wooden floors and making everything very loud). The locks on the doors of the room aren't the correct fire-rated emergency locks so do not conform to the Oct 2023 Fire Regs

Lovely welcoming and friendly staff and the breakfast was great!!

The bed and linen were super quality, the bathroom and room were well appointed, nicely laid out and very quiet.
The pub was laking in atmosphere and the level of dining wasn't as good as I had anticipated.

Amazing food, fantastic staff.
Rural location, no shop.

The beautiful appointed bedroom and bathroom in the barn. Nice toiletries and fresh milk a nice touch. Super clean

Breakfast lovely a bit disappointed no cooked breakfast was served on Mondays but a cold breakfast tray was given.
The room & bathroom was lovely everything you needed to make your stay very comfortable, although a tad small, lovely comfortable bed with nice bed linen, & bath robes.

Beautifully clean and exceptionally decorated and furnished.
A great deal of thought has been put into the facilities and all the little extras you need to make your stay special.

The location was very pretty the pub was an old english style . Breakfast was very tasty and the staff were very friendly. Quiet and peaceful and the room was clean tidy and everything you would need for your stay
The bathroom floor was very slippery when the shower was turned on and the panel for the shower was in a very low place next to the towel rail. Quite hard to read and control. Especially if you were in the shower. You had to get out and change setting.

We had a perfect stay, all the staff were lovely, and the room was great .

The setting is idyllic. Our room was incredibly comfy after a half day hiking - loved the deep bath and good quality bedding. Dinner was very tasty, great drinks and a lovely atmosphere. The Red Cow pulls off being both a real pub in the community and pretty upmarket place to stay.
No complaints!

Lovely pub with great staff and superb brooms. Food was also outstanding.
Nothing!

I have two tests I always apply to places I stay: what are the towels like, and do they provide fresh milk for guests? It's easy to provide a clean, welcoming place to stay, but being prepared to spend a little extra money on these things makes all the difference. The Red Cow has large, fluffy towels and a communal fridge with free milk in, so passed both tests! Welcoming staff, a lovely pub across the courtyard, big, comfy bed ... this is a really nice place to stay, and thoroughly recommended.
Can't think of anything

Location was very good and in easy reach of Cambridge in a lovely village. Superb accommodation, beautifully finished and well equipped. Lovely open fire in the bar on a cold night! Food was very good. Everything is to a really high standard.
Room was beautiful but really cold. Suggest the heating needed to be on sooner and higher given the outside temperature. We had intended to return to the room to freshen up for dinner but the room was so cold we stayed in the bar keeping warm by the open fire. Spoke to the manager the next morning but were a bit surprised with her response. She told us people ‘from the north’ liked the room cooler! (I am from Essex!!) The cold room was disappointing but we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Red Cow overall 😊

Lovely room with "White Company" toiletries, home made cookies and high quality teas. Beautiful big bathroom with walk in shower and lovely fluffy towels.
Great breakfast with good choice of options.
I was in the area for a funeral and staying at the red cow made it just that little more bearable.
Would highly recommend.

The breakfast was superb - had options and we went for the full English which was delicious.
The room was comfortable, clean, beautifully furnished and recently renovated - it was wonderful.
The staff were also exceptional - we were greeted by Amelie who had gone out of her way to wait for us on arrival since we were detained and late by about 30 mins - we were very grateful for that and for the communication received
4.7
The Red Cow provided a warm welcome by confident, hospitable staff, well-kept beer, good food, a comfortable, quiet, well-equipped room and a good night's sleep.
