1 Klm uphill to the Swiss Village, coffee shop, newsagent and beauty spa.
Nearest supermarket Woolworths 5 klms open until 10pm.
Basic cooking items included, toiletries,linen, towels are top quality and of generous proportions.

This was a perfect two-day getaway for as after a week of bushwalking in the North West of Tasmania. The facilities are excellent - comfy bed, good hot water, well equipped kitchen and luxurious bathroom. We loved the bath and the views over the valley. Perfect.

Our apartment was even more amazing than we expected! Everything we could need was provided for us. But what really blew us away was the view! It didn't matter what time of day, looking out the huge windows always presented us with a beautiful view. The bedroom overlooking the floor to ceiling windows was perfect. Gorgeous apartment, fantastic location, a great stay!

The stunning view over the Tamar River greets you as you walk through the door. The apartment was clean, comfy and had everything we required for a relaxing stay. Will certainly recommend to family and friends. We look forward to our next stay.

The apartment was tastefully decorated with all the amenities you could ask for. Well ventilated and spacious. Comfortable bed and seating area. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to friends

Ideally located as a base to travel in and around Launceston. Supermarkets and Fuel real close. The views were fantastic. A bit of road noise but views and location make up for it. We would stay again if re visit the part of Tassie

A great place to stay whilst visiting Launceston and surroundings areas including the Tamar river valley. Accommodation is first rate with all the comforts you would would need. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

As soon as you open the door the spectacular views welcome you in. Super comfy bed, a bath to really relax in , balcony lounge and well fitted out kitchen make the stay super easy .

First a big thank you to Helen, the property was exactly as advertised and at a great price you couldn't do any better. Helen had the heater on and muffin's for us when we arrived, the bed was very comfortable & clean with all the amenity's you could need. We won't hesitate to book again and recommend it to our friends.

Lovely property, beautifully maintained, all the mod cons, handy to shops, tourist attractions and an awesome view and setting. The sunrises over the mountains are just amazing, and the view from the spa bath makes it hard to get out. On top of all that Helen is an amazing host and I am very grateful to her!

This property was overlooking the Tamar River right on the Tamar Ridge winery and the views from the floor to ceiling windows were beautiful. Great location and easy to navigate to and from. Helen was very accommodating as a host. The extra touches like full bottles of shampoo and the contributions left behind by other guests was a pleasant surprise! May the next guest enjoy the bottle of wine we left for them! Definitely would revisit. Our 9 days went too quickly!

We stayed two nights at Tamar Ridge Apartments and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. From the first contact with Helen the process was extremely easy and had us relaxed before we arrived. Being attached to a Cellar Door and a Gin Distillery was a great bonus for us. We will certainly return another day and plan to stay longer next time. Thank you for providing quality property.

Absolutely stunning apartment.

This apartment is one of the best I've ever stayed in. The views are incredible, the set out is so well done, the bathroom (complete with enormous picture window over the bath) has a huge shower with great pressure. It's just the most peaceful place to stay, with uninterrupted views of the Tamar valley and river, yet within easy driving distance of shops and restaurants and a perfect base from which to explore the northern and central tourist drives. I would certainly stay here again on my next visit to Tasmania.

When you read pet friendly accommodation, that’s not always accurate. We recently stayed in the Swiss cottage at Grindelwald with our dog which travels with us everywhere. She was treated as well as we were. She had her own dog paddock to run in and stayed over night in the cottage with us. The whole time we were there we knew she was safe when outside on her own. Great atmosphere, great service, pleasure to stay here with a friendly manager that was very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs a quiet, relaxing getaway, but is worried about taking their fur baby along with them. The whole experience for all three of us was welcoming, warm and very comfortable. Would we stay there again. Most definitely. We plan too and would promote and recommend this PET FRIENDLY accommodation to anyone who travels with their pets who are in the area and need a place to stay, Just contact Helen the Manager she is very friendly and helpful, and will do whatever she can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. My wife and I are Launceston locals who never get time away together. We bit the bullet and decided to have an afternoon and evening away somewhere but not to far away from home so we could still get back for kids sport etc. the next day. We couldn't of been happier with our choice. After we arrived we went to the Cellar Door and done a wine tasting after which we ordered a cheese platter and purchased a bottle of Tamar Ridge Pinot. We went back to our room to relax enjoy the bottle of red, cheese platter and the magnificent views over the Tamar River. It was the most relaxing afternoon we have had in a while and our room was just perfect. Plenty of room, well appointed and those magnificent views. Thank you to Helen and family for your hospitatlity we will definitley be back to do it all again sometime soon. Brett & Kellie - Launceston
