Very cute character cottage in stunning location.
Several areas could have been cleaner. Cigarette ends all over the garden and cigarette wrapping in children’s bedroom. No teaspoons at all and only one tea towel.
4.5
Everything. The view. The house.
No parking. Bunk beds.

Location, potentially good
Careworn and in need of maintenance shower and area needs cleaning

Absolutely beautiful location. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated. It was well stocked with everything needed to enjoy your stay.
It was very compact upstairs, with a narrow staircase between the bathroom and the bedroom. I managed to bump my head on the sloped ceiling several times. The parking is not good, you have to park 5 minutes walk away. It was difficult to even pull up to unload our luggage. This was clearly explained in advance though.

lovely little cosy cottage full of character, beautiful views from the back of the gorge. comfortable beds, and clean. Shower nice and powerful
lack of utensils in the kitchen, things like an oven glove, tongs etc would be really handy. It’s on a very steep hill so parking is a bit of a problem but we knew this and managed to bag a spot just a 2 min walk away. The garden again isn’t the best for mobility issues, kids will need supervising which wasn’t a problem but something to be aware of if you visit with small children.

Great location with amazing views of the gorge from the garden terrace. Quiet spot handy for walking down into Ironbridge could be a bit of a challenge for someone with mobility issues.
We parked near The Globe 5 minutes walk away which is an excellent pub.

it was a lovely little cottage. nice and clean. and very homely.
only one shower towel. could of left welcoming pack. ie milk. checking in& out times. 5 hours difference is way too much for a small cottage.
4.0
quaint, nice view
no parking at the property. Dripping shower was annoying, especially at night.

cute small cottage set over three floors via a winding staircase
property is very tiny and any more than 2 people would find it a squeeze! there was only 1 bath towel left for the 2 of us as well as two threadbare hand towels. No bath mat at all. cobwebs in ceiling corners and the shower head was dirty. the owner needs to make the “no dogs upstairs” rule clear in the advert for the property - this may cause problems for some owners.

We took approx 20images to send to the owners to explain our review who were really helpful. Good location for Ironbridge. We stayed as a family of 5 including a elder relative who slept on the sofa bed. The property looked lovely online & the size wasn’t the problem, the cleanliness was definitely poor. Dusty cobwebs, dead spiders(we removed 5, but gave up after this) everywhere, light fittings not working & radiators not heating upstairs (once the heating was turned on and easy to use from the instructions did warm up the downstairs&upstairs bathroom only), broken fixture in the upstairs bathroom (both bathrooms decorated well but no mind-the-step sign hence two of our family tripping to enter the downstairs loo), no guest book. We opened the mug cupboard to find lipstick and dirty covered mugs with one stuck to the cupboard with something like honey?! We had no washing up liquid or anything to wash up with so had to go back out to buy some just to make a warm drink on a cold February evening; my husband cleaning the base of the cupboard also & washing all the mugs up! The linen for the beds were poor quality as old and stained, missing buttons. I have never before left a poor review but we all felt grubby staying in what should be a lovely home style break. We didn’t get to use the balcony as planned due to having to leave to get teabags, washing up liquid and coffee as none provided. A dirty towel in the washing machine and a very old dirty sock when we pulled out the sofa bed covered in dust. We had no problem stripping our beds as requested and taking downstairs or putting out our rubbish - something we have done anyway after a lovely stay elsewhere. The sofa bed was also stained and looked tired blocking the front door to get out. My family were shocked at the level of cleanliness which previous reviews stated excellent as clearly this hadn’t occurred for some time.
Please see above review for comments. Images as we found it.

Everything! A beautiful location that we love. We come to Telford every year for a vet nursing conference and it is so nice to have a 'home' to stay in and cook our own meals. What a great view ... lovely mist over the gorge in the morning.
Narrow roads but that is Ironbridge!

Lovely cottage
Didn't realize it was so fare from town

Quirky little cottage with all you need for shortbreak. Walking distance from Ironbridge Gorge and with lovely woodland views.
Be aware parking is not possible in front of cottage and the streets are steep. We dropped off luggage then parked elsewhere.

Easy access to the door key, the location and the view from the back garden.

The cottage was immaculately clean and well presented. Wifi was good and netflix login proved a success with the children. The owner was extremely helpful and answered all my requests very quickly.
Nothing.

The cottage was super cute and clean. It was cozy and in a great location. Great with kids and the host had lots of games!
Master bed was a little uncomfortable. Could have used more pillows and towels.

Beautifully presented and spotlessly clean.
Short stay to attend a funeral locally but would use again. Thank you.

Good location, fantastic pub near by, small cottage giving you that cosy and intimate feeling, quite cute really with the added bonus of outdoor space with view of the gorge. Super clean and comfy.
Wrong key lock box code, stood at the door for 20 minutes. Had to search on Google for contact number. Got sorted after a call back from owner and an apology.

Cooker seemed temperamental, so arranged meals so as not to need it.
Shower filled very quickly and then took an age to drain away

Very comfortable cottage - very clean on arrival and furniture, fittings, etc. all in very good condition. Owners were very responsive and friendly. Parking was ok - next to the Golden Ball Inn or street parking close to the cottage or approx 5 mins further up the hill. Ironbridge is a great location for numerous walks with a dog both sides of the river (reasonable level of fitness needed though due to the hills) and we enjoyed the cafes and the pork pie shop next to the bridge! Further afield both Shrewsbury and the Carding Mill Valley/the Long Mynd hills are about 30 mins drive, so a great location overall.
Parking - but known about upfront and as commented above there was parking within 5 mins walk from the cottage, so not complaining really!

Views. Downstairs loo! Outside seating.
Parking was a pain. Would have been nice to have had milk in the fridge on arrival - and a bath at in shower...
4.5
Cottage was clean, cosy and suitable for our needs.
Only downside was the fact that parking was not at the property.
